Jain College of Engineering and Technology Hubballi provides good infrastructure with modern laboratories, an advanced digital library system, fully equipped workshops, and efficient campus utilities. Thousands of academic resources are housed within the central library, supported by KOHA automation, Wi-Fi access, and digital learning tools to strengthen research and self-study.

Students ranging across various branches in engineering have the advantage of the department-specific laboratories designed to assist in hands-on experience with programming, surveying, machining, electronics, automation, hydraulics, and much more. Additionally, JCET’s transport network covers connective safe and reliable travel within Hubballi–Dharwad, thus making it convenient for students and faculty to travel daily.

Having a strong focus on academic excellence, practical exposure, and students' conveniences, facilities at JCET Hubballi create an environment promoting innovation, technical competence, and professional growth among future engineers.

JCET Hubballi Campus Facilities 2025

The following table shows the campus-wide facilities at Jain College of Engineering and Technology Hubballi, including library resources, digital access, reading spaces, and transportation services available to students.

Facility	Details
Library & Information Center	The Library/Information Centre is a complete Digital Library, and has all the major digital library tools (KOHA, Barcode System, etc.) for books to be used in it. It has 8000+ books and offers online access, with a section for Reference.
Digital Library	The Digital Library comprises many computers that students may use to access electronic databases, e-books, Online Public Access Company, and online study material.
Reading Room	The Reading Room is a large Hall that has space for 200 Students to study or do Reference work in a quiet environment.
SMS (Special Motivation Scheme)	Special Motivation Scheme (SMS) provides top-performing (or excellent) students with additional textbooks; i.e., SMS students receive additional books for the entire semester to help them reach their goal.
Open Access System	The Open Access System allows Students to use the Library to visit (pick up books) the Open Stack area of the Library and use it during the working hours of the Library.
Reference Section	Dedicated area for non-issue materials like textbooks, dictionaries, encyclopedias, and periodicals for in-library use.
Periodical Section	The Periodical Section has various print journals/magazines available to support Academic studies and general reading.
Wi-Fi Enabled Library	The entire library is Wi-Fi enabled, students can use their own Laptops/Tablets to access online library resources.
Transportation Facility	There are College Buses that provide safe, comfortable transport to/from College and operate through Hubballi-Dharwad Cities.
Bus Routes (Multiple)	Routes available via Gadag Road, Keshwapur, Siddaroodha Math, and Dharwad with shifts and exam-specific schedules.

The following are some of the facilities provided by each branch to the students at Jain College of Engineering and Technology Hubballi:

Civil Engineering

The following table shows the surveying, structural engineering, and geotechnical labs along with other facilities provided in the Civil Engineering department.

Facility	Details
Surveying Lab	The Land Surveying Laboratory provides support in the areas of land surveying, leveling, mapping and field data analysis so that Civil Engineering projects are being properly planned and executed.
Geotechnical Lab	The Geotechnical Laboratory tests soils and assesses the load carrying capabilities of the soil to ensure a design for safe and efficient foundation and earthworks construction.
Geology Lab	Provides a study of rocks, minerals, soil profiles, and the geological conditions that affect the selection of construction sites and the stability of structures.
AutoCAD Lab	Provides advanced drafting capabilities for creating structural drawings and layouts for all civil engineering applications, including drawings used in the process of construction.
Concrete Lab	Performs concrete strength, durability, and material performance testing to ensure that concrete is constructed to be reliable and of high quality.
Environmental Engineering Lab	Hosts experiments with waste (wastewater, air, and pollution) and is dedicated to developing environmentally sustainable solutions to engineering problems.
Hydraulics Lab	Allows study of fluid flow, hydraulic machinery, channels, and pressure systems fundamental to water resources engineering.
Material Testing Lab	Provides testing of construction materials like steel, aggregates, and cement to evaluate strength, elasticity, and quality compliance.

Computer Science & Engineering

Electronics & Communication Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

The following table shows the workshops, machinery labs, and technical training facilities offered in the Mechanical Engineering department at Jain College of Engineering and Technology Hubballi.

Facility	Details
CAED Lab	A facility designed for independent study and coaching that focuses on using Computer Aided Engineering Design to create 3D drawings,label products and components for computer stations using CAD software to develop, create and edit drawings and renderings of mechanical parts.
CAMA Lab	A facility providing training for students using Automated Manufacturing and Robotics as the primary tool for producing. Students learn to operate and program Robots to build "Automation" systems.
CIM & Automation Lab	The lab provides a working environment for computer integrated manufacturing (CIM), Automation Process and Modern Machinery and Tooling, providing an environment for students to work in an organization/setting with the newest methodology (i.e., CIM).
Design Lab	A lab providing assistance to students with designing Machines, analyzing components for performance, and modeling mechanical systems and products.
Workshop	Workshop offers students hands-on experience working with welding, fitting, Carpentry, and Machining; as well as providing a foundation in Mechanical Engineering skill sets (ie, Welding, Machining, etc).
Energy Conversion Lab	A lab dedicated to the study of Heat and Energy from Thermodynamic processes within Engines and Turbines. Provides students with hands-on experience conducting experiments relating to Thermodynamic processes such as heat engine performance.
Heat & Mass Transfer Lab	Provides students access to tools necessary to study the properties of heating and cooling: conduction; convection; Radiation; and Diffusion.
Foundry & Forging Lab	A lab dedicated to teaching the manufacturing process and techniques for Metal Casting and Forging. Students learn how to perform Metal Casting and Forging processes.
Fluid Mechanics Lab	The lab provides facilities for studying fluid mechanics, including Fluid Flow (Pressure) Measurement; Hydraulics and the application of Fluid Applications.
Metallography & Material Testing Lab	A laboratory used to teach students about measuring and analyzing either the microstructure of materials or mechanical properties of materials, including harshness, toughness, and strength/strength ratio.
