Through six different types of scholarships available at the institution, JCET attempts to eliminate financial barriers to participating in quality technical education. Merit-based scholarships provide students who score at least 90% on their Class 12 Board examinations with a tuition fee waiver of 25% to 100%, while need-based scholarships provide assistance to families whose annual income is less than INR 3,00,000.

Students who qualify for athletic scholarships receive full or partial tuition fee waivers of up to 100% based on their performance level - state, national, or international. Furthermore, students from SC/ST/OBC categories are entitled to concessions in tuition fees as provided by State and Central government policies, while differently-abled students may qualify for full or partial tuition fee waivers, as well as assistance with housing and other educational expenses. Alumni-funded scholarships are additionally offered each year in the amount of INR 20,000 to INR 50,000 to students who demonstrate exemplary academic success.
