Academic: In my college, teachers are really good at teaching, and all the HODs are super supportive, always helping students effectively. They even make WhatsApp groups so we can clear our doubts easily. One thing to remember is that attendance is a must for exams, because if you have less attendance, they won't give you the admit card. But good news is, the semester exams are not that difficult.

Placement: Even though it was COVID time, like 90% students from our college got placements. The salary packages were not super high, around 40,000 every month. But our college did really well to help everyone. They even gave us money for internships, like 10 to 20 thousand a month. Internships are super important for students because they give us real-life practice in hospitals.

Campus: Our college has pretty good placements and the facilities are also decent. We get 5G Wi-Fi everywhere. The labs are nicely set up with all the stuff we need, and classrooms have proper benches. Our library is really good, it can hold 800 students and has all the books you might need. Hostels are okay, and there's a big sports ground too.

Academic: In our college, the teachers are really awesome. They are always there to help us out, very kind, and super knowledgeable about their subjects. The only thing is, exams here are quite tough because you need to score 50% to pass.

Placement: So, when we got admitted to college, we had to sign a bond. This means after our four-year course is over, we must do an internship for one and a half years. The good thing is, we get to do this internship right at our college's own hospital. Once that internship is done, then we can sit for the NEET PG exam, which is for picking a special branch in the healthcare field.

Campus: College and its hospital buildings are pretty old, from the 1960s actually. There's also a library which is easy for everyone to access anytime they want. Food quality here is fine, and living conditions are also okay. Some students prefer staying in rented PGs or rooms outside the campus.

Campus: At our college, we have a good library and free Wi-Fi for everyone on campus. There's also a hospital right here which is super old, it was built back in 1851 during the British period. This hospital is really big, it has four huge buildings and offers all kinds of different facilities. Everything in the hospital is provided by the government, which is a good thing.

Academic: At our college, most of our teachers have an MBBS degree, and some even have MD or MS. They are quite helpful with our studies, and the practical knowledge they give us is really good. For teaching, they use projectors, which makes learning easier. The medicine course here is very vast, and we get to learn about so many diseases and how to treat them. The curriculum is very relevant to what we will do in real practice. Every year, we have two semester exams. These exams can be a bit tough to clear if you only start studying at the last moment. But if you study from the start, it is easy to pass. Usually, out of 250 students, about 100 to 120 pass these semester exams.

Placement: At our college, around 90% of students, out of 250, actually got internships which is pretty good. The main roles you can aim for are neurosurgeon and cardio surgeon. For these roles, after your PG, the highest salary can be around 8 to 9 LPA. Usually, in the medical field, there are no direct placements because most students go into government hospitals for service after they finish their courses.

Campus: In our college, the library is pretty cool, it's fully AC and open 24/7, which is super helpful. You can find tons of books there to read for free, though only category students can borrow them. Classrooms are big, some even have AC, and projectors are available. Plus, free Wi-Fi works in both classrooms and the library. The mess food here is quite good, costing only 50 rupees for one meal, and they change the menu daily. However, since the college started way back in 1965, the overall infrastructure isn't that great. The hostel quality is very poor; the building is not maintained properly or kept clean. Still, they do offer some sports like an open badminton court, a TV room, and a TT room in the hostel. One thing missing is a canteen, as we don't have one here.

Placement: For my course, it's a 5.5-year program here. After studying for 4 years, everyone needs to do an internship, and it's compulsory for all students. Each batch usually has around 250 students. Talking about placements, they are really good, with about 80-90% of students getting placed successfully. The monthly salary packages are also quite impressive, usually from 40 to 50 thousand rupees, and these salaries generally keep increasing over time.

Campus: Our college has really good facilities and infrastructure, mainly because it's the second-best government medical college after SMS. We get top amenities here, like fast 5G Wi-Fi, and washrooms that are always clean since they're checked hourly. There's also a 24-hour AC library full of all the books we need. The mess food is just okay, nothing great, but it works. Plus, there's a big sports field for everyone.

Placement: My college has quite a few students. Each batch takes in 250 students, and usually, there are 5 batches running together. Once you finish MBBS, students have options like sitting for NEET PG exams or applying for medical officer posts. After you get a PG slot, the package is pretty good, around 70,000 to 80,000 rupees every month. This earning is similar for both clinical and non-clinical fields.

Campus: Right now, our college buildings are pretty old, so the infrastructure isn't in very good condition. But a whole new college building and new hostels are almost ready for the next batches coming in. Speaking of food, it's really good here, no doubt. They make different types of food every single day. We also have sports activities happening every week.

Academic: Our teachers here are really approachable and they're super educated, knowing a lot about their subjects. The teaching quality is pretty good too. For our course, the whole curriculum follows the guidelines set by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The semester exams are not too tough, like medium level difficulty. And it's good that almost 99% of students always clear their university exams.

Placement: To get into this college, about 250 students are picked each year through the NEET UG exam, which NTA conducts. Once you reach your final year and pass the university exam, almost 99% of students become eligible for a good stipend. For boys, the hostel is quite big with 5 canteens and a mess. We also have a gym that has almost all types of machines. If you want to play sports, they provide all the equipment on demand.

Academic: From my experience, the teachers in medical colleges are really good. They are actual doctors who also work in hospitals, so they are very qualified, know a lot, and are always ready to help students. The MBBS course itself is in high demand, mainly because we don't have enough doctors for everyone in our country. But it's also a pretty difficult course. You need to study a lot to just pass, and besides theory, you must also have strong clinical knowledge. We need 50% marks in theory and 50% in practicals separately to clear the exams.

Placement: Talking about jobs after MBBS, almost everyone gets placed. Many students opt for higher studies like MS or MD, and some others join government hospitals as medical officers. A few even open their own clinics. So, yes, every student definitely becomes a doctor after finishing MBBS. Also, it's compulsory for every student to do an internship once they complete their MBBS course.

Campus: In JLN, the college infrastructure is quite good. We have separate reading rooms for both girls and boys, and Wi-Fi is available for everyone. The library here is pretty nice too. For practical learning, there are many labs like biochemistry, pathology, hematology, and microbiology. Clinical postings in hospitals are really helpful for our studies. However, the hostels are not that good because they are very old. Also, there are not enough facilities for sports and games.

Academic: What I like most is how helpful all the teachers and faculty are here. They are always around if you need any help, and their teaching experience is really good, like super advanced. They teach practical classes very well, making things easy to understand. Just remember, for semester exams, you have to keep 75% attendance for theory and 80% for practicals. Only after you do that, you get your admit card.

Placement: Our college gives good placements, with about 70 to 90 percent of the 250 students in our batch getting placed. Everyone has to do a one-year internship here. After you finish that, the college promises you can work as a JR. president in a hospital.
