Admission: Getting admission in JNU was smoother than expected. The portal gave clear instructions for verification and registration. Merit list and counselling updates were timely, and help desk staff were supportive.

Academic: What I like most about JNU is how good the faculty members are. Our teachers are super qualified and they are like the best professors around. The way they teach and their knowledge is top class. The course itself is from the School of Language, Literature, and Culture Studies, and it mostly covers foreign languages, their literature, and culture. The exams for this course are very easy, not hard at all, so almost everyone passes, like a 100% pass rate.

Placement: I am a French studies student from the 2022 batch here. From our course, about 90% of students got internships, which is a good number. When it comes to placements, around 30% of us found jobs. The highest salary package offered was about 10 LPA, and the average package was 5 LPA. Some of the top companies that recruited from our course include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, and Concentrix. After finishing the course, we usually got roles like language assistance, tour guide, or translator.

Campus: At JNU, the facilities are quite good. We have a 24/7 library, which is awesome, and proper science labs. The classrooms are decent too. What I like is the food; it's very good quality, and the mess and canteens here are honestly the best, providing food 24/7. Our campus has about 18 hostels. Also, students get free medical facilities, and there's a big transport complex. Plus, they make sure there are many games for us to play.

Admission: The admission process had a few stages from application to interview. Timelines were mostly accurate, and updates were regular. Clear instructions for fees and orientation made the process less stressful.

Academic: My Spanish course is very useful because it opens up many job chances all over the world. The semester exams are a little tough, but if someone studies properly, they will find them easy. To pass any semester, you need to score 3 out of 9 CGPA. Also, our teachers here are qualified and always ready to help students.

Placement: At JNU, there are many languages you can study. However, when it comes to placements, things are not the same for all of them. For example, students who learn Japanese, Korean, or Chinese often get good jobs with nice salary packages. But sadly, if you study languages like Persian and Pashto, there are no placements offered at all.

Campus: College has Wi-Fi in all the buildings across campus, which is very useful. The academic area is also kept neat and clean. We have a central library with over 1 lakh books, which is a lot. For hostels, the new ones are good, but the old hostels are in very bad condition, their infrastructure is quite poor.

Admission: The admission process at JNU was organized. Online registration was simple, verification was quick, and merit list updates were timely. Counselling guidance was clear throughout.

Academic: What I like most about this college is that all the teachers are good. They are quite qualified and just top class. Many of our faculty even studied at Jawaharlal Nehru University themselves. They give us full support and you can ask them literally anything without any problem. This college is the best to examine yourself and learn a lot.

Placement: From my experience, a lot of students, especially from the Chinese department, got good jobs outside college. They got good salaries, around 60 thousand or even more. Our Chinese department has a good network of alumni too. And if you clear the HSK exam in Chinese, there's a chance you can go visit China and learn more there.

Campus: My take on the hostel here is that the maintenance isn't that good. You pretty much have to maintain your own room yourself. The food quality, though, depends on which hostel you're staying in. There's a laundry service available on campus, and some hostels have it too. Monthly expenses, covering hostel and food, come to around 3500-4000 rupees. But on the bright side, the canteen food is actually very good.

Admission: Applying for JNU felt like a long journey. Waiting for the merit list was stressful, but updates on important dates were clear. Online counselling was simple, and document verification went smoothly with helpful staff.

Academic: Our teachers at JNU are top-notch, seriously some of the best in India. They are super qualified and put in a lot of effort to teach us everything properly. The course syllabus, even if it feels a little old, is still pretty good overall. JNU actually makes you a better person, rather than just getting you ready for jobs in industries. To clear your papers, you just need to keep a CGPA of 4 out of 9.

Placement: About jobs, our college doesn't have a proper placement department. But companies still visit our campus to hire new students. Even if you don't get placed through college, getting a job on your own is not tough. You will always find our seniors (alumni) working almost everywhere.

Campus: About our college buildings, they are not like those super fancy private colleges with high fees, but you get Wi-Fi everywhere on campus, which is good. For the food, it's mostly very good, though how good it is can sometimes change based on the hostel and mess secretary at that time.

Academic: Our teachers are very helpful and always there for students. Many of them do research, so they know a lot about their subjects and are highly qualified. They teach us well, making sure it's easy for everyone to understand. The syllabus isn't perfect right now, but the college is working to make it better. Overall, it helps us get ready for the workforce.

Placement: Our course is integrated, meaning we get an M.Sc. degree. Generally, the university offers good placements for M.Sc. students. But for my batch, this is the first time for placements, so we dont have a fixed number of placements yet. After graduating, some students go into regular jobs, and many others decide to work in research areas. Last year, the lowest salary package was 8 lakhs per year, and the highest I saw was 21 lakhs per year.

Campus: Our college has some good facilities for students. The labs and classes are great, and they all have AC. They are quite new too and have all the equipment you need for studies. The library is also fantastic, and it's open 24/7. All students get access to super fast 20 MB/sec Wi-Fi which is unlimited, and you can use it everywhere like in the library, academic buildings, and even in the dorms. The current hostel system is a bit messy, but new hostels are being built right now with lots of space. So, once they are finished, the facilities will be top-notch. About the mess food, it's not the best compared to other hostels, but it still gets like a 4 out of 7. We also have a medical center that's open 24/7 and completely free. It's spacious and big enough for everyone.

Academic: The curriculum at JNU is good and makes us ready for jobs in companies. Our teachers here are super qualified and know so much, they put a lot of hard work into teaching. When it comes to semester exams, they are not too tough, and about 85-90% of students usually pass them.

Placement: Our college, JNU, has good placements since it is one of the top universities in India. There is a placement cell right here on campus to help us out. Last year, the highest salary for bachelor degree students was about 14 lakhs, with an average of 6 lakhs. Also, roughly 60% of students manage to get internships in big MNCs.

Campus: At JNU, students get many good facilities. We have a good library and Wi-Fi is available everywhere on campus, with smart classrooms too. Mess food here is just average but it is very affordable. All students also get free medical facilities. Plus, there are sports facilities and a big stadium right on campus.

Admission: My joining process at JNU was efficient. From application to final registration, steps were clearly explained. Counselling cleared doubts, and document verification staff were cooperative.

Academic: What I like most about our college is how relevant the curriculum is. Our teachers are good and cooperative, they actually focus on each student to make sure no one falls behind. They teach things in a cool way, always linking what we learn to real-life situations, so it's easy to understand. Also, the exams aren't too tough here, you just need 33% to pass them.

Placement: In my course, around 30 students out of 48 got placed which is pretty good. The highest salary package someone got was 14 LPA, and the average was 7 LPA, with the lowest being 4 LPA. Big companies like Amazon and Flipkart hired from us, and also some top private schools. For internships, we usually had to find them ourselves off-campus, and many students actually managed to get them. Mostly, the job role offered to us was an interpreter.

Campus: Our college, LLC, has good facilities. The classrooms are super nice, with AC, a projector, and a sound system, and they are even soundproof. You can find Wi-Fi available all over the campus. Our central library is very good and has a huge seating space for everyone. The mess food is quite good, and we also have a canteen. In the hostel, there is a gym and Wi-Fi facility. Plus, we have a badminton court for sports.

Academic: The teachers at JNU are top-notch. Many of them used to teach at big colleges like NITs and IITs before coming here. They teach super well and are always there to clear our doubts, which is actually quite helpful and not something you always get in IITs or NITs. Because of their teaching and help, the semester exams are not too difficult, they are just of average difficulty. So, students can pass them easily. Also, the pass percentage at JNU is 50%.

Placement: I am a B.Tech ECE student at JNU, named Prasad Pullela. The JNU School of Engineering started in 2018, so it's still quite new. Because of this, placements for the first and second batches were not that great, with only about 10% of students getting placed then. Some students were not happy with the salary offers, while others just weren't interested in placements at all. They chose to do higher studies, go for research, or look for state and central government jobs. But now, placements are getting much better and are still improving. In 2024, placements moved from being just average to actually good. For example, about 12 to 15 students got selected in Amdocs through internships during their academic year. This number is definitely going to increase when our batch graduates. So, you can expect good job chances from good companies at JNU School of Engineering.

Campus: Our campus has pretty good facilities. For example, Wi-Fi is there in all lecture halls, hostels, and even in the library. The hostel facilities are nice, and classrooms also have everything we need. Something cool is coming up for engineering students: a new engineering center. It's under construction now and JNU said it will be finished by 2026. I've seen the 3D model and plans, and it looks awesome. They are also building new hostels just for engineering students that can fit 2000 people. Plus, our Dr. BR Ambedkar Central Library is the biggest, with the best collection of all kinds of books.

Admission: During my admission, the JNU process felt fairly straightforward. After checking the merit list, counselling was well-managed. Document verification was quick, staff were supportive, and registration went smoothly. Orientation explained everything clearly.

Academic: Our teachers here are good, you know. They all have their PhDs and many even went to foreign universities for their language studies, which makes them super skilled in what they teach. They are very helpful and keep a good eye on every student, checking our performance and even planning classes depending on how we are doing. The course structure is also very well designed with four core subjects like grammar, phonetics, communication approach, and culture. Teachers make sure we get a deep understanding of these subjects so we can be ready for work in our own countries. For semester exams, they are usually medium to hard level, but all the questions are strictly from the syllabus. We have a grading system, and you just need a C- to pass any subject.

Placement: My experience with French Hons is that getting jobs right after isn't very easy. Even if French is spoken in many countries, there aren't a lot of good job chances here for students like us. You might find work as a translator or interpreter, and these jobs usually pay around 5 to 6 lakhs per year. Honestly, for Indian students, the best career move is to study French all the way to a Ph.D. and then become a professor at a university. That seems to be the most promising path.

Campus: Our college has three separate buildings just for cultural and language studies. The classrooms here are big enough, with comfy benches and AC. On campus, we get 24/7 Wi-Fi, and there's a library and reading rooms open all the time. They even have language labs where you can translate videos and practice real-time communication. Coming to hostels, they also offer 24/7 Wi-Fi, and the food is super tasty. For a fee of just Rs. 268, the hostel facilities and infrastructure are excellent. We pay around Rs. 3000 monthly for the mess bill, but trust me, the taste of the food makes it totally worth the cost.

Admission: Getting admission in JNU was well-managed. The online portal was easy to use, and communication about results and verification was clear. Registration staff were helpful, making the process organized.

Academic: Our teachers are qualified here, like gems of our department. They guide us so well with everything. Most of the time, students just study by themselves, which is normal. The exam pattern was super simple. The paper used to be 75 marks, and then 25 marks were internal. College gave us these internal marks based on how we performed in each semester.

Placement: Placements here are decent, you know. The highest package someone got was like 20 LPA, and on average, it was around 6 lakhs per year. About 30-40% of students actually get placed, which is okay. Big companies like Google and Qualcomm come for hiring, plus many others. The placement cell is super helpful too, they respond fast. Also, our college has these research projects that students can join to make their skills better.

Campus: What I like about this college is the classrooms are very big, and we get free Wi-Fi which is super useful. They have good sports facilities with a massive field, and medical facilities are also there for us. And trust me, the canteen food quality is excellent! Plus, the events held throughout the year are seriously spectacular.
