Established in 1969, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has been accredited by NAAC with an -˜A' Grade. JNU ranks 2nd according to the NIRF 2023 report. JNU offers affordable yet high quality education to its students. It attracts the top talented minds of India as well as from the world. The university offers several scholarships and fellowship programs to support the meritorious and financially weak students. The scholarships available are given on the basis of one-time reward or monthly monetary compensation. These scholarships can also be renewed every year which solely depends on candidates academic performance. All of the JNU Scholarships are awarded to students from minority background, academically talented, single girl child, and category-wise students. Eligible students are encouraged to apply for the scholarships by filling the scholarship application form followed by submitting the required documents.
