JIS University provides separate hostel accommodations for boys and girls both within the campus and off-campus locations. JIS University – Hostel Infrastructure and Amenities
The hostels are managed by attentive wardens and feature 24/7 security personnel along with CCTV surveillance to ensure a safe and focused academic atmosphere. Accommodation consists of spacious residential apartments containing 2 or 3 single rooms with attached bathrooms and a sitting lounge. The common areas are equipped with amenities such as a common room, gaming facilities, newspapers, cable television, and safe drinking water supplied via Auqaguard systems. Additional conveniences include geysers, coolers, a visitors’ lounge, and laundry services available on request. Regular sanitation and pest control measures are conducted to maintain hygiene.
A dedicated hostel review committee, composed of senior administrative and faculty members, continuously monitors student welfare by addressing their concerns and ensuring the quality of facilities and services.
- Rooms are fully furnished with a cot, chair, study table, study lamp, bookshelf, and cupboard.
- On-site facilities include a first aid center, indoor gaming amenities, laundry service, and Wi-Fi.
- Hostel operations are supported by Residential Wardens, Supervisors, maintenance staff, and security guards available 24x7.
- Safe transportation is provided to and from the campus for student convenience.
- Hostels have 24-hour water supply and uninterrupted power backed by standby generators.
Students are responsible for bringing certain personal items at their own cost, including:
- Buckets
- Mattress
- Bedsheets
- Pillow
Additionally, students may bring any other personal essentials except electrical appliances.

JIS University – Mess and Dining Services
The hostels provide a range of hygienic food options served regularly in well-maintained dining halls. The university’s dining facility features a modern kitchen that offers nutritious, hygienically prepared meals to both students and staff, promoting overall wellness. Beyond serving food, the dining hall acts as a social hub where ideas and conversations flourish. Meals are available starting from 7:00 AM, with night canteen services running from 10:30 PM to 12:30 AM.
Strict food safety and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchens. A monthly balanced menu is curated by the Student Mess and Menu Committee in collaboration with hostel administrators to ensure variety and nutrition.
