Admission: Applying for LM Thapar School of Management was straightforward. The online registration portal was easy to use, communication about interview schedules and merit list declaration was clear, document verification was quick, and the final admission process was smooth.
Academic: From my experience here, the teaching quality is really nice, and they are strict about 75% attendance. Our course has a good balance of electrical and computer subjects, which is great because these topics are asked a lot in interviews and prepare us for actual jobs. The exams can be quite hard, but thankfully, past year questions are available on the Thapar site which helps us practice. Also, our teachers are always ready to help clear doubts for their subjects, though not late at night.
Placement: Talking about my college, placements are pretty decent. The highest package someone got was 20 LPA, and most people end up with around 8 LPA. JP Morgan is a really good company that recruits from here. Also, almost 70% of students in my course get internships, even from big tech names like Microsoft. By the way, in my course, there are about 250 students, which is like 8-9% of the whole college.
Campus: Our college has really good facilities, like Wi-Fi and AC in all classrooms. The labs are also super well-maintained and have everything needed for our projects and experiments. For food, the mess is looked after by Sodexo, a French company, and they give good, clean meals. When it comes to hostels, students get many options like 4-seater, 3-seater, 2-seater, and even 1-seater rooms to pick from. We also have a solid medical facility with an ambulance ready 24/7 for any emergency. And yes, a sports event happens here every year which is fun.

Admission: Getting into LM Thapar School of Management was straightforward. The online application and document verification were efficient, the admission desk staff were supportive, and the transition from counselling to final registration was clear, with orientation helping settle in smoothly.
Academic: The teaching quality at Thapar is really top-notch. All our teachers have PhDs, many from top IIMs and famous business schools in India and other countries. They are very knowledgeable and always ready to help students understand things. They make sure every student gets the subject well, and they even hold extra classes for those who need more help. There's a good student-to-faculty ratio here; we have enough teachers for all subjects, sometimes even more than one for a single subject. This college also brings in guest faculty from India and abroad, which is great for getting different perspectives. What's cool is that Thapar focuses on our overall growth, so teachers are always open for discussions even after regular class hours. They also take sustainability very seriously, with 25% of our curriculum dedicated to it and live projects that give us an edge.
Placement: You know, the placements at our college are actually really solid. Thapar has this dedicated training and placement cell that works hard to make sure every student bags an internship. During these internships, students usually get a stipend that ranges from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 30,000. When it comes to final placements, around 80% of our batch usually gets a job. The rest 20% of students often choose to start their own companies or go abroad for higher education. The top salary package offered here so far has been 12 LPA.
Campus: Thapar has amazing infrastructure, it's really something else. We get a two-storeyed, air-conditioned library that has all the books you could need to study, and it stays open super late during exams. Our classrooms are also fitted with all the facilities that help us learn better. Plus, everyone gets 24/7 Wi-Fi access all over campus. For sports, there is a gym with all the machines, and we have dedicated grounds for cricket, badminton, football, and basketball. You never run out of food options here since we have a cafeteria, a canteen, and a mess. The food provided in the mess is good, and they keep it very hygienic. Hostel life at Thapar is amazing too; the rooms are well-furnished and come with both A/C and fans.

Admission: Applying to LM Thapar School of Management was smooth. The online portal was easy to use, communication around the merit list and counselling was timely, document verification was well-organized, and orientation made joining comfortable.
Academic: In Thapar's Biotechnology department, our teachers are really good and you can talk to them easily whenever you need help. The syllabus for our course is updated regularly, always focusing on new and important things like bioinformatics, molecular biology, and other key concepts. This curriculum is also very useful because it covers practical stuff like lab work, internships, projects, and research. Exams here are not too hard, not too easy, just average difficulty, and around 85% of students manage to pass them.
Placement: Placements here are quite impressive, with around 83% of UG students getting placed in the recent cycle. The highest salary package someone got was 21 LPA, and the average package for students was 5 LPA. Many big companies like Vedanta Innovation Private Limited, Growth Jockey, and JP Morgan come to our college for hiring.
Campus: At Thapar, especially in the Biotechnology department, the facilities are top-notch. They have really advanced labs and all our classes come with Wi-Fi and projectors, making studies easy. Plus, there's a big library. The hostels are also quite comfy, having everything you need like laundry, cleaning staff, fresh food, canteens, RO drinking water, and even medical services.

Admission: Getting admission to LM Thapar School of Management was well-structured. The online application and counselling sessions were organized, document verification went smoothly with supportive staff, communication was timely, and orientation served as a good introduction.
Academic: The teaching quality here is better than other colleges. Some teachers are very helpful, but honestly, some others can be quite rude sometimes. The course curriculum feels relevant for our studies, but it doesn't always prepare us well for interviews, which is a bit of a mismatch. Talking about exams, semester papers are not that tough. If you study just for 3 or 4 days before the test, you can easily clear it since the passing criteria is only 34%.
Placement: When we talk about placements, 40% of students from our course got placed. The highest salary offered here was 25 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. Top companies like Google and TCS come for recruitment. They mostly offer the Software Developer role. For internships, 98% of students got them. Most students actually preferred doing off-campus internships, with companies like Jacobs, Emphasis, and Taxes.
Campus: I think the best thing in our college is the infrastructure. We have the Nava Nalanda library, which is actually one of the top 3 libraries in India. The campus Wi-Fi is super-fast, with 5G+ speed. Hostel food here is the best in Thapar, so you don't really need to go to the canteen. There's also a big hospital right on campus for any medical needs. And for sports, there are many playgrounds, each for different games.

Admission: Getting admission into LM Thapar School of Management felt systematic and student-friendly. The merit list was released on time, counselling was structured, and document verification and fee submission were smooth with cooperative staff support.
Academic: The teachers in our college are just awesome. They all are very knowledgeable, and their way of teaching is really good. They help students a lot with their studies. Also, they give us proper notes and arrange many different activities. These things are very useful for getting good placements and also for our overall improvement.
Placement: Our LM Thapar School of Management has different specialisations. Like, you can choose finance, marketing, international business, and even operation and information systems. And yeah, business analytics is also there for admission.
Campus: Campus is really nice and well-structured, it seriously feels like a 5-star hotel, just awesome. The library here is also quite good. Coming to the hostels, they are comfortable and the food served is pretty good. In the hostels itself, you'll find different courts for games like badminton and basketball, plus there's a gym facility too.

Admission: Applying for LM Thapar School of Management was straightforward. The online application portal was easy to use, communication regarding entrance exam scores and merit list ranking was clear, counselling sessions were well-organized, and document verification and fee payment were seamless with helpful staff support.
Academic: The teachers in our college are super supportive, always helping us out and guiding us. They are all really qualified and have so much good experience to share. Also, the course syllabus is made in a way that teaches you what the industry needs, making you fully ready for the job market.
Placement: My MBA specialisation was finance and HR. Talking about placements, for finance students, it's much better than for HR students. Big companies like Deloitte, EY, and Wipro were the main ones hiring for finance. They gave roles such as business analyst, tax consultant, management trainee, and executive.
Campus: I like about LMTSM is its amazing infrastructure. The whole college campus feels very peaceful, which is a big plus. About the mess, the food is quite decent. They serve lots of different dishes, and it's cool that they always welcome our feedback. But for me, the best spot is definitely the library. It has such a beautiful view, perfect for reading or just chilling for hours. And a big bonus, it stays open till 12 AM every day.

Admission: Joining LM Thapar School of Management felt smooth. The online application portal was user-friendly, communication for merit lists and counselling was prompt, document verification was efficiently handled by the staff, and the orientation program provided a clear and welcoming start.
Academic: So, about LMT, it's definitely a tier-3 college, which means you mostly need to rely on your own effort for studies. Our faculty members do offer help, but if you expect them to do all the heavy lifting for your learning, honestly, this might not be the right place for you. Most of the teachers are quite good and they know their subjects well. Of course, a few might not be the politest, but you'll find that in almost every college, I guess. What's really cool is our Director; he's a very nice person and super helpful. If you have any issue, he will personally get in touch and is always open for a good discussion. This kind of support from the top is something special here. For placements, I feel LMT is stronger for marketing roles compared to other fields. Recently, companies did come for finance, but they only picked about 12 to 15 candidates.
Placement: Placements at LMT college are pretty good, but you need to understand it's a TIER-3 college. So, not everyone gets placed easily; your own effort really matters here. Good companies with nice job roles do come to campus. I even got placed in three companies myself – one through college, and I managed to get two more on my own. This college helped me a lot to pick up management skills. Big companies like Nestle, Hyundai, MRF, E&Y, and Deloitte visit for placements. But honestly, only a few people can actually get into these top companies. So, you definitely need to trust your own ability to crack those interviews. LMT just gives you a platform to apply, but all the hard work to get a job is totally up to you.
Campus: In my experience, if we talk about infrastructure, this college is really good. The college building itself shifted a few years back. The area nearby isn't that great because the college is close to a village, people call it Pind, and it's also 6-7 km away from Derbassi city. But inside the campus, the infrastructure is actually wonderful. And the hostels were also decent, at least they were during my time.

Admission: My admission journey at LM Thapar School of Management was seamless. The online application and shortlisting stages were efficient, counselling was informative, and the registration process was completed smoothly with responsive administrative support.
Academic: In our college, the teachers are mostly qualified, helpful, and they know a lot. But some of them are not so good at explaining things properly so that students can understand the course well. Their teaching quality is not always up to the mark because of this. Also, only a few of our subjects actually have practical applications.
Placement: Internships are pretty good here, with almost 60% of students getting one from our college. For placements, ours haven't even started yet, so I can't really tell you how many will get jobs. But our seniors say the average salary package is around 5 LPA, which is decent. Big companies like Deloitte, MRF, and Nestle are usually among the top recruiters that come to our campus.
Campus: The infrastructure and hostel at our college are really excellent. They serve very good food, and the canteen is also super nice. We have medical facilities available 24x7 which are quite systematic. Sports events happen regularly, and there's even a separate gaming room on campus for students.

Admission: Getting admission into LM Thapar School of Management was smooth. The application portal was user-friendly, interview communication was timely, post-merit document verification and fee payment were organized, and staff support made onboarding hassle-free.
Academic: From my experience, the faculty here is quite good, and some teachers are actually brilliant. What's a bit tough is passing; you need to score 35 total marks in MST and EST combined, which includes everything like practicals, theory, and exams. Managing your time properly is the biggest challenge for students. Honestly, the course curriculum feels just average.
Placement: In our batch, around 40% of students got placed right from the college campus drives. Also, about 50% of students found jobs on their own from outside. The average salary package offered at our college is 6 LPA. Top companies like Nagaroo, Vimeo, and many others come here to hire. They mostly look for roles like software developer, QA, and software engineer trainee. Also, about 40% of students got good internships in companies like Vimeo and Emphasis.
Campus: I like most about Thapar is its really awesome infrastructure, no doubt about it. For our course, we get great facilities like good labs, classrooms, libraries, and activity rooms. The food quality is top-notch here, and things like the canteen, medical services, sports, games, and all the college events are also super good. Even other services like laundry, cleaning, and handling complaints are very good quality.

Admission: My admission at LM Thapar was well-managed. After selection through the merit list, the counselling schedule arrived promptly, document verification and final registration were hassle-free, and the staff remained supportive throughout the onboarding process.
Academic: About the teaching quality at our college, it's really good. Our teachers are super helpful; they are available almost 24 hours if you need help. They use different ways to teach, like case studies and presentations, which makes learning interesting. We also have many guest faculty who come to our college. Plus, our college promotes student exchange programs too. If you want to study marketing, this college is the best choice.
Placement: Our college has good placements. Like, around 75% of my seniors already got jobs by March, and more will get placed soon. The average salary for our batch is about 5.87 LPA. Big companies like Hyundai, KPMG, and MRF came to our campus. They mostly offered roles in sales and marketing. Also, a lot of students, about 70%, got internships through the college itself. The average money they got for internships was 7000 rupees a month. Our placement cell really tries its best to make sure everyone gets a good job.
Campus: Like most about my college is how modern it is, seriously one of the most advanced campuses in India. All the facilities here are top-notch. We have things like Wi-Fi, good medical support, a big library, and great sports areas for everyone. It's also really comfortable because the mess, hostel, and even the academic block are fully air-conditioned. Speaking of food, the mess and canteen food quality is actually good. I haven't faced any infrastructure problems here at college, everything seems fine.
