Admission: Process wise, admission to Madras Medical College was managed efficiently. After NEET results, counselling and document verification were thorough but smooth. Staff support during registration was reliable, and communication about deadlines was clear. Orientation sessions provided a good beginning.

Academic: Knowledgeable teachers mostly explain subjects well, though a few struggle with clarity. Several faculty members are always ready to clear doubts and support students. The course is decent, with some parts aligned to industry needs. Exams are manageable with regular study, and around 85 percent of students usually pass.

Placement: Approximately, 80% of MBBS students get placed, and all students complete internships, mostly in government hospitals. Many graduates join government hospitals after finishing. Some students earn up to 12 LPA in private hospitals, while the average is around 8 LPA. Recruiters include Apollo, Fortis, and SRM, offering roles like junior doctor and medical officer.

Campus: Specifically, the pharmacy department has decent labs with required equipment. Classrooms have fans, lights, and projectors, though projectors sometimes fail. Wi-Fi exists but is slow. The library is big but lacks some updated books. Hostel rooms are small, mess food is average, the canteen has limited items, and medical and sports facilities need improvement.

Admission: Admission into Madras Medical College involved several clear stages from start to finish. State counselling registration and choice filling were well explained, and the merit list was released on time. Document verification was detailed, with staff patiently guiding students. Reporting and final enrollment were smooth without major issues.

Academic: Experienced faculty at M.M.C. guide students with strong subject knowledge and years of practice. They treat everyone fairly and create a positive learning environment. The college functions under Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, and the course runs full time for three years. Exams include internal and external assessments of 100 marks each, and securing at least 50 percent is required to pass.

Placement: Overall, my experience shows that the placements here are quite strong, with nearly 90% of students getting placed along with internships. Big companies like Pfizer, Novartis, and Cipla visit the campus. Salary packages are decent, with the highest ranging between 1520 LPA, an average of about 1012 LPA, and the lowest around 5 LPA. Roles offered include medical advisory and clinical research associate.

Campus: Personally, my experience here is that the campus is quite large, spread across nearly 10 acres. Some buildings and facilities are old, but we still have basics like Wi-Fi, decent classrooms, laboratories, and a library with many books. Food quality is good, hostels are separate for boys and girls, and both indoor and outdoor games are available.

Admission: Finally, my admission at Madras Medical College felt well managed from start to end. Merit list announcements were timely, counselling rounds were organized, and staff assistance during document verification made registration easy. The entire process felt clear and stress free.

Academic: Updated syllabus and well qualified teachers ensure strong academic training. Exams are tough and require effort, but the pass rate remains very high at around 98 percent. Strong focus on practical and clinical skills makes the program valuable for a career in pharmacology.

Placement: Finally, my experience suggests that around 70% of students get placed annually. The highest package offered was 15 LPA, while the minimum was 7 LPA. Roles included Scientific Pharmacologist, Research Scientist, and Scientific Advisory, with a helpful recruitment system supporting career growth.

Campus: Finally, the college provides excellent infrastructure with spacious classrooms, an auditorium, sports complex, hospital, labs, and libraries. Hostels offer single rooms with attached washrooms, and the canteen serves a variety of healthy and tasty food.

Admission: Overall, the admission experience at Madras Medical College was quite smooth and structured. The admission cell staff were helpful during document verification. NEET counselling steps were clearly explained, and registration was straightforward. Queries were addressed quickly, and the orientation session gave a positive start.

Academic: Friendly professors at the college make learning comfortable for all students. Their strong academic background helps in clear teaching across subjects. Academically, the first year includes clearing three papers. The second year has three papers along with two non clinical works, while the third year again includes three papers, and the final year requires passing eight papers in total.

Placement: Regarding internships, our college offers a compulsory full-year internship of 12 months with a stipend of 25,000 rupees per month. This helps students learn practical dentistry skills. We also participate in public dental health camps. Most internships happen in our own hospital, but linked institutes like RIO and IMH are also involved, and CRRI is allowed too.

Campus: Regularly, the college hosts many events like inter-college sports meets and cultural programs. Students can also take part in in-house competitions. The sports coordinator is very supportive and motivates everyone well. Every year, the Sports GDC event includes students from all years, and winners receive medals and certificates on Republic Day, which makes campus life exciting.

Academic: Qualified professors with MD and PhD degrees use discussions, case studies, and practical demonstrations to teach effectively. Learning feels engaging due to these methods. However, extra help is not always easily available. Exams are generally easy, with MCQs and short questions, and assignments and notes are sufficient to score well.

Placement: Specifically, MD students enjoy strong placement support, with almost 90% placed each year and internships for nearly everyone. Companies like Pfizer and Novartis recruit actively. In 2023, the median salary for MD students was around 13.92 LPA, with top packages usually between 1215 LPA.

Campus: Environmentally, the campus is very green, providing fresh air and good ventilation in classrooms. The library has a large collection of books. Food quality is average, sports and medical facilities are available, and uniforms with white coats and stethoscopes are compulsory for proper clinical training.
