NIFTEM Sonepat Scholarships 2025: Eligibility Criteria and Benefits

National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM) has established a dedicated Scholarship Fund to support students admitted to B.Tech. and M.Tech. programs. Approved by the Board of Management, this fund allocates 5% of the institute's revenue for scholarships that reward academic excellence and assist economically needy students. The Merit Scholarship rewards top performers with tuition waivers and stipends, while the Merit-cum-Means Scholarship targets deserving M.Tech students with financial need, blending academic merit and income criteria. These scholarships aim to alleviate financial burdens and encourage higher learning in food technology and related fields.

Top 3 B.Tech students and one M.Tech student per program based on merit, cleared all courses, good discipline, and attendance criteria met

Tuition fee waiver and a fixed monthly stipend for 10 months

NIFTEM Merit-cum-Means Scholarship

M.Tech students with family income less than INR 2,50,000 and 60%+ marks or B grade, passed all papers in first chance and no major disciplinary action taken and not from costly +2 schools

Tuition fee waiver and fixed monthly stipend of INR 1000 for 10 months (excluding GATE fellowship recipients)
