Admission: The teachers here are really nice and helpful. The exams are tough compared to other places. The pass rate is 40%, but it helps us prepare for harder challenges.

Placement: I'm in the mechanical engineering program at NIT Srinagar. Around half to sixty percent of us get jobs within a year after graduating. Many students go for off-campus placements or start their own businesses. Companies like HCL and Wipro often hire mechanical engineering students from our batch.

Campus: I really like the mechanical engineering course at my college because it's the only accredited course. The facilities are awesome we have a library with Wi-Fi, air-conditioned rooms, and digital boards. Our hostel rooms are nice, with 5 students, 4 almirahs, and 1 fan. The food in the mess is good too.

Admission: The semester exams at NIT Srinagar are tough. We gotta really buckle down and study hard to do well and get good grades. The competition in our class is fierce, everyone's putting in a lot of effort to succeed.

Placement: The NIT Srinagar coordinator is great at offering courses that will be in demand for the next 5-10 years. They provide extra resources for learning computer languages like Java, C, C+, Python, DSA, and design. It's really helpful for students.

Campus: The food is okay, not too great. The hostel is nice, with good water and Wi-Fi in each room for browsing online. The medical help is good too.

Admission: The teachers here are really great. They know their stuff and teach well. The course material is practical and gets us ready for working in the industry. Exams are okay during mid-terms, but get tough towards the end. You need to score at least 40% to pass.

Placement: I'm in the Civil Engineering B.Tech program. Around 60% of us get placed after graduation. The highest salary offered is 19 LPA and the lowest is 6 LPA. Big companies like Google, Microsoft, and Oracle come for hiring. Most of us, about 70-75%, get internships with companies. The main job roles are in structural engineering and similar fields.

Campus: The hostel rooms aren't great; they cram 5 students in one room. The labs are okay, not top-notch. The library is tiny, only fits about 100 students at once, and has a limited book selection. It's not the best for those hoping for space or lots of books for engineering. The food at the hostel is alright. But the water, Wi-Fi, and other facilities are pretty bad. The medical services are really good though. Sports are just okay, and the college doesn't give much money for sports events.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and really know their stuff. A lot of them are from top institutes like IIT and NITs. The teaching is good and the courses prepare you well for getting a job. The exams can be tough, but it's worth it. If you fail a test, you can make it up the following year.

Placement: Our college is great for placements. Lots of students get jobs in different industries. Around half of the students find jobs every year. The highest salary offered was 36 LPA. Big companies like Oracle, Accenture, and Cognizant hire students. Almost everyone gets an internship here with good roles.

Campus: Each department has its own building. In the first year, all classrooms are the same in each branch, but they change in the second year. The college has Wi-Fi in every building and hostel room. There's also LAN in the hostel.

Admission: The teachers here are really good. A lot of them come from IIT and they're always ready to help with any issues we have. The subjects are not too hard, and the tests are easy to score well on if you study regularly. It's harder to fail a subject than to get a high grade like a 9-pointer.

Placement: The CSE and IT programs here offer great opportunities. Lots of seniors have successfully passed the GATE exam. They're really friendly and always ready to help. If you're motivated to learn and improve, you'll find plenty of chances here. Most students in core branches get internships and can apply for tech job placements.

Campus: The hostels here are great with nice and clean rooms. They really focus on keeping things tidy and in order. The course I'm taking has given me lots of opportunities. The food in the mess is good and they always have tea in the evenings, except on Fridays due to Jummah. Overall, it's a good place for us students.

Admission: The teachers here are really nice and know their stuff well. A lot of them have studied at IITs. The classes cover the usual engineering stuff. Exams are okay if you keep up with your studies. But you gotta put in extra effort to be ready for the industry.

Placement: I've been hearing good things about placements, even though we don't have official data yet. Lots of students are landing great job offers on campus, with some getting really high-paying packages. Most core students are getting internships and have a shot at tech roles. It seems like we've got some talented folks here!

Campus: The hostels like Manasbal, Jhelum, and girls' hostel are decent. Some older ones like Chenab and Indus could use some fixing up. You'll have more than three roommates until the third year, which is cool if you like being around lots of people. The food at the mess is okay. The college feels safe, so no need to stress about that.

Admission: The teachers here are really good. One thing is that most of them are Kashmiri and they speak in Hindi. This can make it hard for students from the South to talk to them. That's the only downside I've noticed.

Placement: Around half of the students in our college get placed, which is pretty good. The highest salary offered is 60 LPA, while the lowest is 5 LPA. Companies like IBM and other software companies visit our campus for placements. Many students also do their internships here. Overall, it's a great college with a good placement record.

Campus: The campus has lots of facilities, and the Wi-Fi is really fast. Classrooms are clean and tidy every day. There's a small park where we can chill and study. The hostel is good, and the food is clean. Plus, there are plenty of sports activities available for everyone.

Admission: The professors really know their stuff and make learning easy. The B.Tech course covers everything you need and sets you up well for future jobs. It's a great prep for working in the industry. The exams are fair and you just need 40% to pass.

Placement: Most students in our course get placed, around 80%. The highest salary offered is 45 LPA, while the average is 8 LPA. The smallest package is 4 LPA. BPCL and HPCL are the top companies that hire from our course. Everyone pretty much gets a job in companies they want like ONGC, Tata, Maruti Suzuki, etc. The most common roles are managers and skills designers.

Campus: The internet in the hostel, library, and campus is super fast. The library has lots of room to sit and study. The mess and hostel facilities are good, and the sports facilities are awesome. The infrastructure here is really impressive.

Admission: The professors in the electrical engineering department are awesome! Javed sir is great for electrical machines, and Bazaz sir is amazing for control systems and power systems. They really know their stuff. The curriculum is spot on and the semester exams are just right not too easy, not too hard.

Placement: Most students here find jobs after graduation, around 85%. The best pay is 20 LPA, while the lowest is at 4 LPA for electrical engineering. HPCL is the top company that hires from here. Some students also land internships at Juniper, Rashmi Metallics, and L&T. Popular roles for electrical students are business analyst and GET.

Campus: The hostel isn't great, but the library and classrooms are awesome. The Wi-Fi works well. Mess food isn't good, and there's no separate section for veg and non-veg. Medical services are good, and sports are really fun here.
