3 Sept, 2025 : GATE 2026 registration commences from 28 August 2025. IIT Guwahati will conduct the exam on February 7, 8, 14, and 15.

The NIT Srinagar scholarship program aims to financially support deserving, financially underprivileged, and socially disadvantaged students and gives them equal opportunities to have quality education. The institute provides a very broad list of scholarships associated with central and state government programs and with certain scholarships as a result of some of the programs of private and sector financing. The Central Sector Scholarship of College and University students, Merit-cum-Means Scholarship of Minority students, Post- Matricarial Scholarship of SC/ST/OBC/ Minority communities and Top Class Education Scheme are some of the prominent scholarships offered.

NIT Srinagar is committed to aiding students in their academic journey by providing numerous financial aid and scholarship options. These scholarships aim to minimize the financial burden on students, thereby allowing them to focus on their studies. Here's an overview of the various scholarships and financial aid options that students can avail themselves of at NIT Srinagar:
