What Students Need to Do

Check Eligibility

Go through the eligibility criteria of the scholarship (SC/ST, BC/MBC, Adi-Dravidar, EIL, Alumni, etc.). Make sure you meet academic performance, income limit, and state or residency requirements before applying.

Step 2

Download Application Form

Visit the official NIT Trichy scholarship webpage. Choose the relevant scholarship and download the application form (PDF or online form, as applicable).

Step 3

Fill Personal & Academic Details

Enter correct personal details such as name, roll number, course, year, department, and contact details. Add academic records like CGPA, semester results, or grade sheets if required.

Step 4

Attach Required Documents

Attach mandatory documents such as income certificate, caste/community certificate, bank account details for DBT, Aadhaar (if applicable), and any merit or previous scholarship proof.

Submit Application

Submit the filled application along with documents to the Scholarship Office or Student Affairs Office. For online scholarships, complete submission through the designated portal.

Track Application Status

Receive Sanction & Funds

After approval, the scholarship amount is credited directly to the student’s bank account through DBT. Fee waivers, book grants, or other benefits are provided as per the scholarship rules.
