Admission: The teachers here are really great they're helpful, know their stuff, and push us to do our best. The course is awesome, covering IT and hacking skills that are super relevant for the industry. But man, those semester exams can be tough with all the CCTV cameras watching us!
Placement: I really like the college placements. The alumni are super helpful and give us great advice. TCS is the main company that hires us for our course. The placements are good and everyone gets a decent offer. The highest salary is over 10 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA.
Campus: I studied BCA and back then, we had around 63 students in my department. But not everyone showed up for class. Our department building had labs, a teacher's staff room, and a room for the HOD. The PG area had friendly guards, and there were good food options around the college campus.

Admission: The CSE faculty is really helpful and good. They are always ready to clear doubts. But in other branches, the faculty is not that great. There are cool clubs like GNX, GDSC, and Phoenix for coding lovers. The syllabus is okay, but the university can be a bit unpredictable. They sometimes give weird exams, like focusing on just one topic for the whole paper.
Placement: The CSE placements are pretty good overall. In 2025, around 60-68% of students landed jobs. TCS and Accenture are hiring this time. For TCS, 210 students got placed, with 35 in prime roles and the rest in Ninja and Digital. The coding scene is better here than in other engineering colleges in Kolkata.
Campus: The campus is pretty small, only about 3 acres. They don't have good sports facilities or activities. No hostels for guys or girls - you gotta find a place to stay off-campus. There's no real hostel vibe and no medical help nearby.

Admission: The teachers at this engineering college are pretty experienced, and a lot of them have postgraduate degrees. Some teachers are really helpful, while others stick to old-school teaching methods. The coursework follows the usual university rules, covering theory and hands-on stuff each semester. But they're kinda slow at updating for new tech or industry trends. They give tests often, like mid-semester exams and final university tests. The tests are kinda easy to predict, focusing on theory, formulas, and basic problem-solving. Overall, the academics are okayit's enough to get a good base, but you gotta study on your own and work extra hard to do really well.
Placement: In my department, around 70% to 80% of students usually get placed each year. Most of them end up in companies like TCS, with a few in Wipro. While internships aren't guaranteed, you can always try looking off-campus. The average salary package is around 4.5 LPA. The popular roles offered are for front-end developers. This year, one student even landed a 30 LPA package, which is the highest in the CSE department.
Campus: The engineering college has all the basic stuff like classrooms, labs, and a small library. The labs are good for the main subjects, but they don't have fancy equipment. There's no hostel, so students from far away have to find their own place to stay, which can be costly and take up time. The college doesn't have transport either. But the teachers are really helpful and support us with our studies and job placements. Events happen in regular halls because there's no auditorium. They really focus on teaching us tech stuff and making sure we follow the rules. They're planning to improve things in the future, like building a hostel and getting better facilities to help us out.

Admission: The teachers and mentors are super helpful. I really like the way they teach. The course material is basic but useful in the real world. The exams are not too hard, just at an okay level. If you keep up with your work and stay focused, you'll do well.
Placement: The IT department at NSEC is awesome. Most students get placed in big companies like TCS, Accenture, and more. The average salary is around 6.5 LPA, with the highest being 20 LPA in 2025. They help us land internships easily in startups too. Around 70% of students snag internships. Cool place to study!
Campus: The college has nice classrooms, labs, and a big library. The canteen is okay, and there are sports games to enjoy. The Wi-Fi and other facilities are helpful. They don't have any hostels, but there are medical services available. Overall, it's a good college to be at.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful. Whenever I need help, they're always there for me. They know their stuff, have lots of experience, and are really qualified. The course material matches what we need to learn. The semester tests can be tough, but it depends on the exam. The faculty in my department are awesome too. They're really supportive and work well with us.
Placement: Many students from my course have already got placed, which is great. I think it's around 60% or more. There are still more companies to come for placements. The highest package I heard about this year was 15 LPA, while the average is about 7 LPA. The lowest package offered is between 4 to 5 LPA. The top companies that come for recruitment are usually TCS, Accenture, and Cognizant. I'm not sure about internships, though.
Campus: The college has great facilities like air-conditioned rooms and projectors in every class. Wi-Fi is available in all classes too. The labs are awesome and also air-conditioned. I don't know about the hostels since I don't live there. The food in the canteen is good quality and not too expensive.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome, no doubt. They really know their stuff and make learning interesting. This college prepares us well for real-world jobs. Our semester exams are based on university standards. We have a high pass rate of 93%. One thing I love is how supportive and helpful the teachers are.
Placement: In 2025, around 60% to 70% of us got placed. The highest salary was 32 lakh, lowest was 3 lakh, and average was 6 lakh. TCS, Cognizant, and Capgemini were top recruiters. About 10% of us got internships, and most got roles in digital and prime sectors.
Campus: The college has good infrastructure overall. There's reliable Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. But some classrooms have air conditioning problems, so it can get a bit uncomfortable during lectures. Unfortunately, the college doesn't offer hostel facilities.

Admission: The faculty is good, but they don't really go above and beyond in teaching. They're not too helpful in helping us grow in extracurriculars. I noticed some favoritism towards local students over out-of-state ones. Native students get more attention and advice compared to students from other states.
Placement: The company that came for placements didn't stick around long, so it was hard to keep track. Out of all of us, only 2 students got placed, but they had to find jobs on their own, not through the college. Even though they say the college helped them get placed, it wasn't really true. Overall, the placements here are pretty disappointing.
Campus: The college doesn't have any hostels, but there are 1 or 2 outside options. They're fine for local students, but non-locals might struggle with food. The mess food isn't great.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and really care about teaching us. I heard they all got their PhDs from Jadavpur University. The curriculum is set by Makaut University, but it feels a bit old-fashioned. I think they should update it a bit. The exams in each semester are pretty easy. As long as we pay attention in class, passing them is not hard at all.
Placement: The placements here are okay, not the best. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant offer around 4 to 5 lakh packages. The highest package offered was 44 lakhs at Microsoft. On average, students get around 5.5 lakhs.
Campus: I found a lot of nearby places to stay that are affordable and have good stuff like Wi-Fi, labs, and a library. The college has good facilities too, like air-conditioned classrooms and Wi-Fi. Some classrooms don't have AC, though.

Admission: The teachers are okay, but they're not super helpful. Their teaching is just average. The topics we learn are mostly useful, but some aren't really needed, especially in IT courses like BME or Biology. The exams are kinda tough, but not impossible. You need to aim for a 40% pass mark.
Placement: I think most students, like 90%, got jobs after college. Some, like 80-85%, start working and others go for more studies. The highest salary they offer is 12 lakhs per year, and the lowest is 3 lakhs. Companies like TCS, Accenture, Zifo, Amazon, and Google hire a lot of students. About half of us got internships too. We can get roles like service engineer in big companies and hospitals, or work with medical equipment.
Campus: The Wi-Fi at our college is great, but the labs aren't that good. A lot of equipment is missing or broken. The elevator is terrible too. The other facilities are just okay. Unfortunately, there's no hostel on campus, but there are plenty of private mess options. There are some issues like bad food and ragging. The food at the canteen is decent though. The grounds are kinda run-down, so we can't really play there.

Admission: The teachers here are super nice and really smart. They have fancy degrees and know a lot. They teach in a cool way that's easy to get. The stuff we learn matches what we need for jobs. Exams aren't too tough, but they're not a walk in the park either. Most students pass, around 86%. If you show up and listen in class, you can get good grades.
Placement: Most students in our course at NSEC get jobs. The highest salary is 34 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, and startups come to hire students. Around half of us get internships by working hard and showing off our coding skills. We can get roles like frontend developer, emerging developer, or web designer.
Campus: NSEC has cool facilities like labs, classrooms, and a library. Wi-Fi works well all over campus. Classrooms have AC and projectors. The library is big and has everything you need. You can use computers for coding and stuff. We don't have a hostel, but the canteen food is tasty. There's a small medical shop on campus too. Sports facilities are great we can play table tennis, carrom, kabaddi, volleyball, cricket, and more. Good mix of indoor and outdoor games.
