NID Gandhinagar courses include M.Des in Designing and PhD in Designing. The duration of M.Des program is 2.5 years with the minimum eligibility of graduation qualification. Admissions into the PG courses are done through Design Aptitude Test (DAT) which scheduled on December 21, 2025 (prelims). The mains of DAT 2026 is scheduled between March and April, 2026 for M.Des and May for B.Des. The DAT is followed by studio test and interview for M.Des. The admission into PhD program is done through Doctoral Research Test (DRT) and research proposal presentation.
