About NIFT Kangra
The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Kangra is a premier institution dedicated to excellence in fashion education. Founded in 2009, Hon'ble Minister of Textiles Mr. Shankar Singh Waghela and Hon'ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, inaugurated NIFT Kangra on 5th August 2009. Located in the picturesque Kangra Valley, overlooking the beautiful Dhauladhar Himalayan Ranges, the institute has rapidly established itself as a leading fashion education center in Northern India.
