National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, also known as NIT Kurukshetra or NIT KKR was established in 1963. It is one and only NIT in Haryana. In NIRF 2025 ranking NIT KKR secured 85th position in the engineering category. In December 2008, it was accredited with the status of Institute of National Importance.

NIT Kurukshetra B.Tech Fees
The total 4-year fee for B. Tech CSE at NIT Kurukshetra is the same for other B. Tech branches and depends upon type of hostel chosen. For General, OBC, and EWS students with a family income above INR 5 Lakh per annum, the total fee for the entire course is INR 7,11,100 for triple seater hostels.
