Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff and are super helpful in explaining things. But you gotta put in some work on your own if you want to do well. It would be awesome if they could also hook us up with more chances and give us advice on how to plan our future career.

Placement: Most students, around 80-85%, got good jobs according to what seniors told us. The highest salary was 60 LPA, but that was for non-core jobs. Core jobs had better placements overall. The highest salary for non-core jobs was 16 LPA. Many students also chose to go for GATE exams.

Campus: The college doesn't have a lot of hostel rooms, but there are other places to stay close by. It's easy to get around because the campus isn't too big. The facilities for mining are okay but could be better. The hostel is alright, the food in the mess is good, and there's Wi-Fi. You can also play sports and games.

Admission: I show up to class every day, but I struggle to understand a lot. When the exams come around, we don't have enough time to get ready. It's tough for students who got in through reservations because the college usually admits students with low marks. But honestly, the exams aren't that hard once you get used to them.

Placement: Placements at NIT Raipur really come down to what you've achieved academically and outside of class. If you're focused on different government exams, you might not even go for placements. That's why the placement percentage seems low, but it's actually decent here.

Campus: Living in the hostel has been cool. The people are nice, but the food isn't great. The sports stuff like table tennis and badminton are okay, not the best but still usable. The Wi-Fi is a bit slow, but some rooms have better speed.

Admission: The teachers in the Biomedical branch at NIT Raipur are really good and helpful. They know their stuff. The lessons are a mix of theory and hands-on stuff, but it could be more connected to industry needs. Exams are okay; if you study regularly, you should pass easily. The first year can be a bit hectic, but you can handle it.

Placement: The job placement rate is around 15%. 8 students out of 52 got jobs. They're offering a 13 LPA package for roles like data analyst at companies like ZS and ICICI Bank. A lot of students end up in places like AIIMS, NITs, IITs, and BARC. Though they didn't mention specific recruiters for Biomedical Engineering, NIT Raipur's top recruiters are 3D PLM Software, Capgemini, Cognizant, Infosys, L&T Infotech, Mu Sigma, Pradan, Prism, Vedanta, and Wipro.

Campus: The Biomedical department at NIT Raipur has really cool classrooms with Wi-Fi and top-notch labs. The library has tons of stuff to help with studies. The hostels are pretty good with nice rooms, Wi-Fi, and always water available. The food in the mess is okay, but the canteens have a lot of different options. Plus, there are sports facilities and medical help if you need it. Overall, it's a pretty solid place to study.

Admission: The semester exams at college have two parts: mid-sem and end-sem. Mid-sem is worth 30 marks, end-sem is 50 marks, and the rest is teacher assessment. Some subjects are tough, but it's not too hard to pass if you study a bit. Just make sure to study before the exams and aim for at least 75%.

Placement: There are around 92 students in my branch. The highest package offered is 55 LPA while the lowest is about 6 LPA. Companies like Microsoft and Phonepay come for placements. They offer roles like SDE, data analyst, and core placement jobs.

Campus: The hostel facilities in our college are pretty good, but there aren't enough seats for all students. We have a badminton court, volleyball court, and other sports facilities in the hostel. Overall, the facilities at the college are fine. Unfortunately, there's no Wi-Fi. The labs are well-equipped. The library isn't big enough for all students. Food in the hostel is available, but the quality can vary with the season. If you complain, they'll fix it. There are also medical facilities on campus.

Admission: The teachers are really helpful in all departments, especially with internships. I like that we can pick electives in odd semesters. Exams are not too hard as long as you pay attention in class. It's easy to get good grades if you do that.

Placement: I got a JEE percentile between 90-95. The highest salary for non-core jobs is around 15 lakhs, and for core jobs, it's about 6 lakhs. Companies like Vedanta, JSW, JSL, Aditya Birla, Reliance, MECON, and Larsen & Toubro, as well as software companies like Quantiphi, offer good roles for IT and Computer Science grads. Google also hires through off-campus placements.

Campus: The G4 class is great with star classes having AC after the second year. Wi-Fi is there on campus but doesn't reach everywhere. The library is awesome with lots of books from all departments, and it's AC too. Some students with high GPAs get hostels close to where they want after the second year. They've built a new sports complex, and there are medical facilities and two canteens. The hostel mess serves good breakfast and lunch, but the food quality can be iffy sometimes.

Admission: The teachers are knowledgeable and helpful, but not all of them are great at teaching. The course mostly sticks to the old curriculum, but they also cover some extra topics to help us with common skills. The semester exams are pretty easy you can study the whole syllabus the night before and still do well. The pass percentage is around 35%.

Placement: Most students here get jobs every year, around 70-80%. This year, it went down by 10% but it goes up as more placements happen. The highest salary is 62 LPA, lowest is 7 LPA, and average is 10-11 LPA. Big companies like SAIL, BHEL, and Coal India give good offers. About 20-30% get internships. In my course, roles like project director, drill operation director, and general manager are top picks.

Campus: I wanna start by saying, the hostels at NIT Raipur are pretty efficient. When I was prepping for JEE, I thought the campus life here would be amazing, but it's not like that. Most students end up living in PGs outside the campus. Only about 40% of students get hostels on campus based on their JEE Main results in the first year. The hostel allocation for the following years depends on your CPI. The Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library are decent. The sports and medical facilities are also alright.

Admission: The teachers are nice and helpful, but some who are doing their Ph.D. focus more on finishing the syllabus. The course content is okay, but it could use some updating. The semester exams are not too hard. Just study for a couple of days before the exam, and you can get a good CGPA.

Placement: I heard that only 30% of students got placed this year, but none of them landed jobs in the main field. The top salary was about 14 LPA, the lowest was 6 LPA, and the average was 8 LPA. I'm not really sure about the companies or the positions they have. But there are lots of chances for internships, both in India and abroad like Germany. Many students do internships at IITs and other top foreign schools.

Campus: The facilities here are alright, nothing too fancy. We've got a library, Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms, but there are some rules to follow. You can only borrow books twice a week, and the library's only open from 10 AM to 8 PM. Not everyone can stay in the hostel, they prioritize out-of-state students. In the biotech department, only about 8-9 out of 70 students get hostel accommodation.

Admission: The teachers here are not the best. The curriculum seems old-fashioned. They can be mean and full of themselves. It's tough to keep up with all the exams. There's not much time to learn other things like coding.

Placement: The college offers roles like data analyst and software developer for students. In chemical engineering, you can go for site engineer or junior engineer positions. Big companies like ONGC, Asian Paints, and Adani come for placements. And in tech, there's TCS, Infosys, Microsoft, and others. Last year, around 90% of students got placed.

Campus: There aren't many facilities here, even though our college is known nationally. Not all students can stay in the hostel, so we have to find our own place to live. I don't stay in the hostel, so I can't comment on how good it is.

Admission: The teachers know their stuff and teach well. The course is practical for the industry, and we can take electives from different fields. The semester exams aren't too tough; just pay attention in class and practice old exam questions. You need 33% to pass overall, with 20 marks for internal assessment, 30 for mid-semester, and 50 for end semester exams.

Placement: In our batch, there are 115 students. 90 of them got placed, while the rest didn't want a job right away. The highest salary offered was 14.75 LPA by Vedanta, and the lowest was 4.5 LPA from a steel company. The top job role is GET, but even non-core companies visit for hiring. About 30% of us got placed in core companies.

Campus: The campus and hostels have Wi-Fi which is cool. The labs are alright and the library is good, but kind of small. Still, all the books are there. In our hostel, we share a room with one other student, and there's a mess that serves meals four times a day. The campus has a canteen with decent food, plus medical facilities which is a plus. We also have a new sports complex for indoor sports and outdoor sports like basketball and volleyball. There are grounds for it all.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff. The way they teach is good. The subjects are pretty much the same as other colleges. Nothing really stands out. We have industrial visits in the third year. You can totally pass exams by cramming just two days before. The passing rate is around 35%.

Placement: Most students in my course get placed, around 70-80%. The highest salary package is 62 LPA, while the lowest is 7 LPA, and the average is around 10.2 LPA. The top companies that come for recruitment are BHEL, SAIL, and Indian Coal. The main roles offered are Mine Manager and Mine Engineer.

Campus: The campus has a good number of classrooms and labs. Wi-Fi is available everywhere even in the hostels. There's a medical center on campus, and it's free for all students. If needed, AIIMS Raipur is just a short distance away. Sports options are great too. There are 4 badminton courts in the admin block and 1 in each hostel. Football, basketball, volleyball, and cricket are popular here.
