Admission: The teachers at NUJS are really good at explaining case law and legal stuff. They make it easy to understand. Most classes have good discussions, and teachers are always there to help with questions even after class. Social science subjects are interesting too. The course layout for subjects like sociology is cool, even for people who aren't usually into it. The workload is doable if you stay on top of things. NUJS has a nice environment, and seniors are super helpful.
Placement: In my batch last year, all the students who went for on-campus placements got placed right away, either on day one or through pre-placement offers. Some students also chose to work with senior lawyers to start practicing law. The placement scene at NUJS has been getting better each year. Big law firms like Khaitan, Luthra, SAM, CAM, and AZB hire a lot of students during placements. The average salary at these firms is around 15 lakhs per year. Each year, there's a committee that helps students find internships. Sometimes, the RPC comes in handy for getting internships in different cities besides Kolkata.
Campus: The Wi-Fi here is a bit iffy, and the speed is slow. The library has a ton of books, like 22,000 of them! They cover law stuff and even literature. And you can access a bunch of online resources for legal research on the library website. NUJS lets us use stuff like SCC, Manu Patra, Westlaw, JStor, Hein Online, and more. They even give us off-campus access, which is rare for NLUs. Sports facilities are okay, with a quad for football, cricket, and badminton. Plus, we can use SAI's fields, courts, and pools, just a 5-minute walk away. The classrooms got a nice upgrade with ACs, false ceilings, projectors, and smart podiums. The canteen run by Little Sisters has rolls, dosa, chow mein, Chola Bhatura, and pav bhaji. The food isn't always super healthy, but it tastes good. The hostel rooms are a bit tight, but they're expanding with a new building soon.

Admission: NUJS has amazing faculty, probably the best among law colleges in India. They offer a bunch of different courses taught by experts in law. The way they set up the courses really makes you interested in what you're learning.
Placement: NUJS has a great record for getting students jobs. Big law firms from India, like Luthra and Amarchand Mangaldas, come to hire students. Even international firms, like Allen and Ovary, show up. On the first day, average salaries range from Rs. 11 to 13 Lacs.
Campus: I love NUJS because of the awesome library with all the books I need. It's cool that we can use expensive websites outside of campus too. The campus is near a Sports Authority of India stadium, so we can play outdoor and indoor games. The classrooms are cozy, each one having two A/Cs. It's a great place to study and have fun!

Admission: The teachers here are top-notch. I love how they encourage discussions in class. It's really boosted my confidence in speaking up and thinking critically. I feel like I understand my subjects a lot more because of them.
Placement: Our college has amazing placement opportunities like, seriously! Almost everyone gets a job after they graduate. Since 2008, like when the third batch left, we've been hitting nearly 100% placement every year. Around 60% of students who want a job end up at one of the top seven law firms in the country. These firms pay like 15 LPA or more! The rest of us go to different law firms and companies. On average, NUJS grads make like 9-10 LPA, which is pretty sweet. Honestly, NUJS is top-notch when it comes to job placements. I even landed a gig at Trilegal in New Delhi it's awesome!
Campus: Campus life here is pretty cool. The curfew time is relaxed, and the vibe is chill. It's a nice mix of everything. There are about equal numbers of guys and girls, and students come from all over like 20 different states. NUJS is known for its awesome moot courts and debates. There's a strong student community here too. The food in the mess is decent. They serve South Indian, Continental, Italian, and North Indian dishes. The hostel is okay. At the start, 3 guys had to share a double room, but by the third year, most get their own single room.

Admission: I love the teachers here the most. They really know their stuff and are always willing to help. You can ask them anything and they'll make sure you understand. Plus, they use technology for teaching which is cool. The law course covers a lot of trendy topics.
Placement: I can't wait for the placements! I'm sure I'll get a job based on past records. All students who went for placements got hired. Big law firms from India and abroad hire from here. The average salary is around 12-18 lakhs per year. Plus, getting internships through the university is pretty easy.
Campus: The classrooms got a cool new makeover recently. The library has everything you need. They've got a doctor on campus a few days a week. Wi-Fi is super fast, but a bit slow in the hostels. There are games to play outside and inside when you need a break. Most places have AC, but not the hostels. Food is pretty good too.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff. They made the curriculum with future lawyers in mind. The faculty could be better, but they do a decent job. Our digital classrooms are actually useful, not just for show. Being a top-tier NLU means we get a lot of real-world experience. We have guest lectures from important people pretty often, which is cool.
Placement: I love how my college has a 100% placement rate. The highest salary offered is around 50 Lacs, while the lowest is 6 Lacs. On average, students get between 10-12 Lacs. We have a great Recruitment and Placement Committee that really helps us land internships at top law firms and secure good jobs. It's super helpful!
Campus: The campus isn't great. We have wi-fi, a rec room with a PS4, and digital classrooms. But the playground is too small. Food in the canteen is okay, not great. Hostel rooms are not that good, especially for 1st years. They squeeze 3 people into a double room, which causes space issues. The mess in the hostel is air-conditioned. The food isn't like homemade, but it's hygienic and they serve a lot of different stuff.

Admission: I really like how the exams here are all about applying what you learn. It's cool because I've actually learned how to study properly since coming to this college. The pass rate is 50%, so you can't just memorize stuff and expect to pass. You gotta really get the concepts to do well on those application-based questions. Understanding the material is key to passing, so make sure you really get it.
Placement: The college just set up a placement committee. They're planning to kick off recruitment and placement activities this year. It makes sense since Forensic Science is a new program here only been around for 4 years. The college is still growing and improving.
Campus: The Wi-Fi here is great, perfect for all students. Classrooms and the library have AC, which is awesome. The food is delicious, with lots of options during different festivals like South, North, and East. We have special lunches for those days. I lived in the 2nd campus, which is super clean and nice. There's a campus doctor for any medical advice you need, plus you get medical insurance. It's all taken care of here!

Admission: The teachers are really friendly, especially in the first two semesters I've been here. The subjects like contracts, IPC, and family law in the first year are super helpful and make us stand out from other law schools. Passing is not too hard, with a 40% pass rate, and the internal exams are pretty easy to score well on.
Placement: Talking to seniors about placements, it looks like most students, around 90-95%, already have jobs lined up. The rest, about 5%, chose not to participate in placements and went for other opportunities like government exams. The internships we get are pretty solid, like SAM, CAM, Trilegal, AZB, or litigation internships.
Campus: The classrooms are big and have good equipment. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow last month. The academic building has nice air conditioning. The food in the mess is really good. We have indoor games, but not a lot of space for outdoor games like football. There are hospitals close by in case of emergencies. Playing in the quad area is fun, but we could use more facilities for outdoor sports.

Admission: There are a lot of different courses at WBNUJS. As you go into your third year, you get more choices. These courses aren't just about law they cover different subjects. Plus, there are special certificate courses organized by the Wings team with professors from other universities. The teachers are okay. Some are really good, but overall they could be better.
Placement: The job placements at my college this year were really great. We received over 50 job offers from top law firms, as well as from banks and smaller firms. The exact numbers for placements are still being worked out, so we can't give an exact number yet. But in 2018, all 100 students who applied for jobs got placed! The alumni network and the placement team really help us find internships easily. And it's not just law firms we also get internships in policy centers, as judicial clerks, and with experienced lawyers. The placement team is effective and helps us land good internships. Overall, the internships are well-organized and beneficial.
Campus: The college's infrastructure is pretty good. We have a cool library with lots of books on different topics. The whole campus has Wi-Fi, and the hostels have fast LAN connections. The classrooms are nice too. The only downside is that the college is super small (about 5 acres). That means there aren't any sports facilities here, but we can use the Sports Authority of India nearby at a discount. The food in the mess is okay but could be better.

Admission: The teachers are awesome here. They've been churning out top-notch lawyers in India for years. The courses are well-structured and taught really well. At first, you learn about arts subjects. Then, as you progress, you dive into a variety of law topics.
Placement: I'm really impressed with how well WBNUJS handles placements. For the past 5 years, all students have landed great jobs at top law firms. It's ranked as the 3rd best law college in India. The college really focuses on helping students get hired after graduation.
Campus: The college doesn't have great buildings, but they partner with SAI for cheap sports access. The library is big and nice, with tons of books and fast internet. The hostel can house around 500 students. Plus, there's a bank, canteen, laundry, and cool pools on campus.

Admission: The professors are really good. Many of them have a doctorate, while the assistant professors have a master's degree. In the first two years, we study two BA subjects and three law subjects. After five years, we graduate with a BA, LLB(Hons) degree.
Placement: The seniors here got great jobs in the top 6 law firms in India. When fourth-year students go for placements, they usually get good offers. Past batches got around 12 LPA on average, with the highest offer being 25 LPA. A lot of our alumni work in top law firms in India.
Campus: The law school's infrastructure isn't the best. The campus is small, only 5 acres, but the classes have AC and digital boards. The library has lots of books with great info. Plus, there's an auditorium, a moot court hall, and a big grassy area for sports. The rec room is cool too, with a pool table, table tennis, and a PS4.
