Admission: Initially, my admission experience at XLRI Delhi-NCR was well managed. The online application process and interview rounds were clearly communicated. Once selected, the provisional admission letter was shared quickly. Academic: Faculty quality feels mixed based on my experience. Law teachers are fairly decent, but arts subject teachers are not very strong overall. One political science professor rarely takes classes, and students sometimes feel more knowledgeable than him. Many good teachers have left due to lack of promotions, which affects quality. Law exams are challenging, though the curriculum itself is relevant.

Placement: Efforts by the placement cell are clearly visible, and last year�s results were quite decent. Still, many students need to put in extra effort on their own because a large number are focused on preparing for government exams. For judiciary aspirants, the Assam Judicial Academy being on campus is a big advantage, as students get exposure to experienced professionals.

Campus: Campus facilities are very modern overall. All classrooms are equipped with smart devices that support hybrid learning, and even the lecture theatre has updated furniture and projectors. Hostels, classrooms, and libraries are well maintained, with clean walls and furniture throughout.

In BA LLB, the first three years focus on social sciences, followed by law-heavy subjects later.

Placement: Results for the senior-most batch have been encouraging overall. Campus placements usually offer packages between 10 and 15 LPA, with the highest around 15 LPA and an average of 9 to 10 LPA. Placement numbers appear lower because many students opt for higher studies or prepare for exams like UPSC and judicial services. NLUJAA provides strong support for judiciary careers, and one senior even secured a 15 LPA off-campus offer after a six-month internship.

Campus: Environment at NLUJAA is one of its biggest strengths among NLUs. The campus is extremely green, surrounded by mountains, and enjoys pleasant weather. Students start with double-sharing hostel rooms and shift to single rooms by the third year. Free Wi-Fi and LAN connections are available. The library has strong collections, including judiciary exam books. Classrooms and moot courts are air-conditioned. Hostels include a gym and medical facilities. Mess food quality is excellent, though the canteen infrastructure is weak and mainly serves Maggi, which students still enjoy a lot.

Medical facilities need improvement, and sports infrastructure is limited, with no proper badminton, basketball, cricket, or football grounds. The canteen is mostly unhelpful, especially on weekends, and a night mess facility would greatly improve student life.

Other facilities include a library, football ground, and volleyball court.

Admission: Following XAT, my admission at XLRI Delhi-NCR included shortlisting and then WAT and PI rounds. Communication about schedules and requirements was always clear. Campus: Facilities at this college feel impressive based on my experience. The library and hostels are top-notch, offering fast internet and modern amenities. All buildings have lifts and are kept in excellent condition. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned and well maintained, just like the hostel and library areas, making campus life comfortable.

Almost everyone in the batch secured internships at firms such as Khaitan, AZB and Partners, Sandersons and Morgans, and Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.

Campus: Amenities on campus are quite good and thoughtfully planned. Wi-Fi is available everywhere, classrooms are air-conditioned with modern technology, and the library stays open until midnight. A new three-storey library is also under construction. Hostel rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. Food quality is average but monitored by a mess committee. Sports facilities include volleyball, football, cricket, badminton, table tennis, and carrom, with a new sports complex planned. Medical support is available round the clock with a nurse on campus and an ambulance on standby.

Around 10 percent of seniors cleared PCS J exams, including Rank 1 in Nagaland PCS J and Rank 2 in Assam PCS J, with others joining PSUs and MNCs.

Campus: Infrastructure across the campus is something you should see yourself. Classrooms have central air conditioning, interactive boards, and several modern gadgets that support learning. Internet connectivity is strong everywhere, and each classroom seat even comes with its own charging socket.
