Admission: The teachers are mostly nice, but a few seem stuck-up and unfair, which isn't great for us students. They're smart, but they could get better at teaching to really help us learn. The way they teach doesn't always match what we need to know, so lots of us end up looking for extra help over the summer. The tests aren't too tough, but because of the confusing teaching, some of us struggle. It would be cool if the teachers were more understanding when grading papers. The pass rate is around 34 out of 100.
Placement: The starting salary starts at 3 LPA and can go up to 6 LPA. The highest package is 9 LPA, given by Oil India and other companies. Around half of us in Mechanical Engineering get placed. You need to clear all your subjects to be eligible for placements. Big companies like Oil India, L&T, Vikas Group, and Reliance hire students from our course.
Campus: The department building is pretty good, with Wi-Fi and a library. It's clean inside and out. But, there's no Wi-Fi in the labs and classrooms. The infrastructure is just okay, not that great. They need to keep it cleaner. The hostel mess is the worst, no cleanliness at all. On the bright side, the canteen is alright, they have a good variety of food, even fast food. The sports facilities are top-notch, with a turf ground, badminton court, and basketball court available.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really great! They know their stuff and are always there to help you out. If you have any questions, just ask them after class. And on Sundays, they have sessions to help clear up any doubts you might have. You gotta make sure you attend all your classes though. The semester exams are fair not too hard, not too easy. Just gotta put in the work and study. No shortcuts here!
Placement: Most of us in our batch found jobs easily after college. Some went abroad or joined IITs for further studies. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and TCS come for placements. The Indian Army and a few PSUs also come, but they usually prefer students from the northeast.
Campus: The hostels here may be old, but they're in pretty good shape. There are 8 hostels for guys and 2 for girls. First-year students get their own hostel, which is awesome. The view of the mountains is so peaceful and nice. Wi-Fi is on all day, and the labs are top-notch. And don't worry, you'll get good food three times a day.

Admission: The teachers are really great at this college. They teach well and we have labs for each subject. We're well-prepared for farm machinery stuff, but we lack knowledge in the food area because there aren't enough food faculty.
Placement: Placements in my department have been quite limited. The top companies like Amul and Nestle are hesitant to come all the way here for recruitment, so campus selections are low. However, the TNP cell is putting in a lot of effort to improve this.
Campus: The lab and facilities here are awesome! We've got all the gear we need for our projects, whether it's in the farm lab or the food lab. The medical center is cool too, with lots of stuff for sports and games. And the Wi-Fi? It's super fast!

Admission: The grading system changed from 5 to 10 recently. There are some great teachers here. Like anywhere else, there are good and not-so-good ones. The course is pretty standard, similar to other top colleges. The labs could use some improvements and more staff to help with practical learning.
Placement: Don't count on getting a job after finishing here. The number of placements is pretty low. But a few lucky students did get placed in companies like Power Grid and OIL. Not many companies come to hire because of the location and the college's reputation isn't great.
Campus: The facilities are just okay, not great but not terrible either. The classrooms could be improved. Wi-Fi in the hostels works well. It would be nice to have more buses going from the hostels to classes. The hostels are decent, but I heard that 2 of them might be torn down soon because they're old.

Admission: Exams at this college are tough. Some teachers are really helpful and know their stuff, but some aren't as helpful. They teach us based on our chosen courses. You need a 6.5 CGPA to pass, and you gotta have 75% attendance to write exams.
Placement: The placements are alright, but there aren't many big companies like OIL or IOCL that come for placements. Most students go for internships during the summer before their final year. I know about 3 or 4 students who landed jobs at OIL and IOCL with salaries around 20 LPA.
Campus: The classrooms have good tech and AC, but the hostel is big and not great. There's a water leak that's been a problem for a while, especially when it rains.

Admission: The teachers at NERIST are really smart. Most of them are from different states and have studied at top colleges like IITs and NITs. But, the problem is that sometimes Ph.D. students teach us, which isn't great because they don't always want to teach. This has been an issue for a while. Besides that, the courses are good and lots of students pass. We work hard and use online materials to do well in our semester exams.
Placement: The college placements aren't great because we're in a remote area in Arunachal Pradesh. Some public sector companies like Tata, Asahi Glass, ONGC, OIL, NHPC come for placements. Tech Mahindra and other private companies also visit sometimes. This year, placements have been better with Google coming and offering a package of around 17 LPA.
Campus: The hostel is just okay because it's pretty old, like from the 2000s. The institute started in the 1980s, so the hostel buildings are really old and need a makeover. But, the living experience is nice with good food. The Wi-Fi is good too, which is great for us students. There are lots of shops in the hostel area. And we've got basketball, badminton, tennis courts, and all kinds of sports facilities.

Admission: The teachers at this college are awesome! They really know their stuff and are super friendly. They're not like other places where teachers can be boring. They are open-minded and love chatting with us. They explain things clearly and make sure we get it. The exams are fair and test if we really understood what was taught in class. Overall, I feel like I'm learning a lot here.
Placement: The placement scene here is okay. Our college offers average annual salaries ranging from 3 to 9 LPA. Some big names like L&T, TATA Projects, Vedanta, and OIL India Ltd. visit for hiring. There are also smaller companies for non-tech roles. If you focus on GATE prep, you could land even better placements.
Campus: The classrooms and buildings are just okay. They don't have broken furniture or anything, which is good. But the hostels are really bad. Every room has something wrong like broken windows, walls, or leaks. The wiring is also bad and can't handle a lot of electricity. In summer, there are always issues with overloading. The water supply is bad too, both in the hostels and classrooms. We even have to buy our own tube lights and bulbs.

Admission: The teachers in our department are really knowledgeable. They all have PhDs in their subjects. The courses we take are practical and give us chances to train in different industries. We even go on trips to visit nearby companies for hands-on experience. We have exams in each semester - mid-semester and end-semester tests. The semester exams are challenging, you need at least 35% to pass.
Placement: Most students got jobs last year, which is awesome. The highest package was 18 LPA from Power Grid. The average was around 9.9 LPA. Companies like Vedanta, Tata Projects, Oil, and Power Grid hired a lot of students. Also, many students got internships at Tata Projects and Vedanta.
Campus: I study Electrical Engineering, and our department has labs, a library, and classrooms with smart boards and projectors. We always have Wi-Fi available. Our hostel has Wi-Fi too, plus a chill common room, game courts, and a garage. The food in the mess is good. There's also a health unit on campus with a doctor available around the clock.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff. The course is like what they teach at IITs and NITs. You need a 6.5 CGPA to pass. Make sure you attend at least 75% of classes to sit for the semester exams.
Placement: I'm happy with the companies that come to our college for placements, like OIL, ICOL, BHEL, and more. Around 41% of students get placed, which is awesome. Also, the salary package has gone up by 10%, which is a nice bonus.
Campus: The classrooms at our college are big and clean. Even though the buildings are old, we have a huge library that's the biggest in the state. There are two playgrounds and a gym for students. Wi-Fi is accessible in the hostel and library. The labs, classrooms, and seminar halls are all pretty good here.

Admission: The teachers at our college are really good. They're helpful and know their stuff. The courses are updated regularly, which is cool. The exams can be tough, but that's just how it is. Overall, it's a solid college experience.
Placement: Everyone who wanted a job got placed, and others chose to do M.Tech. The highest salary offered was 16 lakhs per year, while the lowest was 3.5 lakhs per year. Infosys and Power Grid were the top recruiters. Indian Army and Airforce came for SSB selection. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Smart Tech, and more also visited for hiring students.
Campus: The college provides super fast internet and gives you a college email. The hostels may be old but they're comfy. You'll share a room for now, but get your own in your last year. Football is huge here, with lots of tournaments.
