Admission: This college in Kolkata has an amazing faculty. They all have degrees from top colleges like IITs, Jadavpur University, or even from abroad. The best part is they're super supportive and available round the clock. They even stay connected with us through social media, which really boosts our confidence and makes us feel comfortable.
Placement: The architecture college placements here are top-notch. Big shot CEOs and Managers from famous companies are always checking us out. Once we finish the course, they offer us a job right away with a salary of around 8-9 lakhs per year. It's all about putting in the hard work and it really pays off in the end. Om Dayal is definitely one of the best architecture colleges in Kolkata. Joining here is a breeze.
Campus: The college campus is huge, it takes around 45 minutes to walk around the whole place. It's located in a nice area on the outskirts of Kolkata where you can smell the industrial vibes. They say Ulluberia is like the Manchester of Kolkata because of all the big industries around. The classrooms and library got a nice makeover recently, creating a great study environment. This college is known for its sports and games too. They're bringing in new coaches for football, cricket, carrom, and table tennis this year, so students can get into more activities outside of classes.

Admission: The teachers here are really experienced and super friendly. They organize lots of activities to help us learn about new tech stuff in the industry and research. It's cool how different departments work together to make it happen.
Placement: They help us get jobs after graduation. Most students get placed in companies every year. The pay can range from 3.6 to 12 LPA. They also train us in soft skills, communication, and new tech stuff.
Campus: The labs for Computer Science and Engineering are really good. They have all the important software and are well-maintained. Also, the labs for Physics, Electrical, Workshop, and Digital Electronics have plenty of instruments.

Admission: The professors here are really helpful. Some of them have PhDs and share a lot of knowledge with us. Even the ones without PhDs are knowledgeable and supportive. They help us in every way possible, both on-campus and off-campus. They even support us with Gate and other competitive exams. It's great to have such supportive faculty here.
Placement: Most students find jobs off-campus after graduation. It's rare to get placed on campus. Some end up in customer service or call centers. The faculty really supports us in finding jobs and also helps us prepare for exams like GATE.
Campus: The hostel is good, with a nice canteen and sports facilities. The facilities are good overall, but the wifi is only wired, not wireless. The computer labs are well-equipped and updated, including the electronics labs. The classrooms can fit around 40 to 60 students comfortably. There's both online and offline library access, which is convenient.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They know their stuff and make learning fun. Exams are fair, and if you put in the effort, you'll do fine. The courses are interesting, but there are a few subjects that feel unnecessary.
Placement: The job placements for engineering students are not great here. Companies like TCS, Cognizant, and Wipro come for recruitment. Seniors have mentioned that getting a job on campus is tough. Most of the jobs they land pay very little.
Campus: The campus is pretty nice with modern classrooms and labs. The hostel is right across from the college. The library is great, I find most of my books there. Unfortunately, there's no Wi-Fi for students. And there aren't any sports facilities or playgrounds on campus.

Admission: The teachers are awesome! They're always there to help and answer questions, even after class. They explain things really well, so we understand everything clearly.
Placement: In our course, we don't have placements. Instead, we do a 6-month internship for hands-on experience. Every student gets placed in good companies to learn real-world skills. College is different from work, so practical training helps us understand construction details in a way that workers do. It's all about learning the language of the field.
Campus: The college has good infrastructure, but it needs some improvements like more fans and plug points because everyone brings their own laptops. We need more fans, especially in the end columns. Also, the library doesn't always have enough books for students.

Admission: The professors really care about us and go the extra mile to help if we're willing to put in the effort. The curriculum is okay, but some stuff doesn't seem useful in real life. It's how our education system is. But the professors are great at preparing us for the future. We're doing better than other architecture colleges in the state, so that's a plus.
Placement: The B.Arch course doesn't guarantee placements like other courses in some colleges. We're taught to be independent professionals, not relying on hand-holding. We learn to find our own job opportunities. If we struggle, our professors help by suggesting places to apply for jobs.
Campus: OmDayal College is still pretty new and they're working on building up everything. They've really improved the facilities since I was there. The place is clean and well-kept, shoutout to the non-teaching staff for that. The B.Arch building is modern and the students have done a great job decorating it.

Admission: I really like the teachers and mentors here. They know a lot and are super helpful. The way they teach is great. The course content is practical and gets us ready for the job market. Exams are fair and the pass rate is around 36%.
Placement: Most students from our course find jobs, around 80%. The highest salary is 1.5 lac per month, and the lowest is Rs. 30,000. On average, people get Rs. 60,000. Big companies like TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant come to hire us. Almost everyone gets an internship in companies like Bajaj, Jindal, etc. This course really helps with getting a job.
Campus: I really like my college because it has everything I need. The classrooms are in great shape and we have Wi-Fi, a library, and labs. The food in the hostel is tasty and healthy. I love the playground where we play different sports. And there's even a gym for working out. It's awesome!

Admission: The teachers really know their stuff, but sometimes they can be tough or play favorites. They cover all the technical stuff about architecture really well. One thing to watch out for is that around 5-10 students from each batch end up a year behind. So make sure you don't miss any deadlines!
Placement: All B.Arch students at this college land jobs after they graduate. The college helps us get internships, but we have to apply to different offices on our own. If we impress an office during an internship, they might hire us. But if we want to work somewhere else, we're on our own. The college won't help us find a job outside.
Campus: The hostel is great here. The food in the mess is pretty good, they even serve non-veg. We get food almost every day of the week. The only downside is having to get a gate pass from the hostel warden just to leave campus for a short time.

Admission: The teachers here are really experienced and always ready to help. They know their stuff, and some even have connections to IIT. I've heard they're into blockchain research. The exams are tough, with a passing rate of around 70%. Personally, I think this course is spot on.
Placement: Most students got placed after graduation, which is great. The pay packages range from 3 to 10 LPA. Various companies hire students for roles like DSA, Django, and Web. Also, 5 students got internships last year.
Campus: The college has awesome facilities like a gym, basketball, and tennis courts. The hostel food is tasty. The labs are fine, but the machines could be better. We also have sports competitions here!

Admission: The teachers here are really smart, nice, and always there to help. They teach really well. They organize tons of workshops and career events to get us ready for the real world. This college is affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University, so all our semester exams are set by them. Almost everyone passes, with a passing rate of around 96%.
Placement: The college has good placements with about 30% of students getting jobs last year. In our course, the salaries range from 2.5 LPA to 7 LPA. The top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Capgemini. Around 5% of students got internships in 2022, mostly at Wipro, TCS, and Capgemini. Popular roles are SDE and QA engineer.
Campus: The college has everything you need - good Wi-Fi, clean labs, and nice classrooms. They have both online and offline libraries with all the books you need. There are separate hostels for guys and girls, and the food in the canteen is really good and clean. They also have some sports activities like table tennis, football, and volleyball going on all year round. It's a pretty cool place to be!
