The PDPU 2025 Placement Drive is now underway. The difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the School of Petroleum Management was able to carry out its placements. Over 90 percent of the students have been placed thus far. IN 2024, the average package was INR 7.5 LPA, while the highest package was INR 42 LPA. For the 2024 drive, the overall placement rate was 90%. During the 2024 placements, around 175 firms came to the university campus. In addition, the B.Tech placement report is formally made public. • Rural Internship: According to the Ministry of Human Resource Development's regulation, at least 20% of a technical degree must include management and humanities courses. A technocrat must accept life's facts in order to implement policies more effectively during their professional careers. India's rural population makes up around 70% of the nation's overall population. Cities are becoming overpopulated in many respects in a developing country like India, so the governmental apparatus must concentrate on expanding rural areas. In this sense, knowledge of rural life and its demographics has become essential.

• Internship at Urban Renewal Mission: According to SLS's PDEU internship program, an internship is a planned opportunity for students to put their academic knowledge and abilities to use in the workplace. Based on a set of learning objectives, experiential education assists students in preparing for and fulfilling their post-graduation career obligations.

• Industry Orientation: The integrated growth of teaching, research, and student development is emphasized at the Industry Orientation School of Petroleum Technology. In order to familiarize themselves with the operations of the oil and gas industry, including exploration, drilling, production, transportation, refining, distribution, electricity generation, and research, second-year B. Tech. students are expected to visit a variety of industries throughout the nation.

• Development of the Community: In order to contribute to the development of the surrounding communities and to raise awareness and inspire university students to contribute to both their own and society's advancement, PDEU has launched a community development program. To begin, PDEU has arranged a summer workshop for children in five neighboring villages-Raisan, Koba, Kudasan, Sargasan, and Por-who are between the ages of six and fifteen.

• The summer workshops' goals are to: - Increase their knowledge and exposure, quicken their learning process, boost their self-esteem, foster their creativity and open up new career opportunities.

• Business Internships: Students at SLS are guaranteed exposure to and familiarity with corporate interactions through the Corporate Internships. The students acquire experience in their respective and allied sectors outside of the classroom. They get the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge to renowned corporations and work practically. Students can acquire a practical understanding of established businesses and industries by having the chance to engage with the workforce.
