Admission: The admission journey at PSGIMSR was well organised from counselling to final registration. Document verification went smoothly with staff support, and the overall process felt welcoming and hassle free for new students.

Academic: About the professors and our course, I must say, our teachers teach very well. Recently, for the MBBS curriculum, some new changes were brought in, and they look like they are working out fine for now. Also, we can do our own research studies during our free time, and our professors give us good guidance and teaching for that.

Placement: After completing MBBS here, most students directly pursue a PG course in advanced medicine. Not everyone, though. Some graduates actually opt for other PG courses like MBA, Forensics, or Sports sciences. There was even one batchmate who joined the Navy! So yeah, advanced medical post-graduation is the common path for most of us after getting our MBBS degree.

Campus: Our college library is quite good, and we can even use computers there until midnight, which is super convenient. For living here, hostel facilities provide individual rooms so you get privacy. The mess and canteen food is also pretty decent. Talking about studies, classrooms are big enough for about 160 students, and most lectures happen through PowerPoint. We also get at least 3 to 4 hours of practical classes every day. Besides studies, our college is active in lots of sports and cultural festivals. Oh, and the climate here is really nice too.

Admission: Getting admission into PSGIMSR was easier than expected. Counselling steps were clearly explained, staff were patient during document verification, and registration after the merit list was straightforward. Orientation details were shared on time, which helped a lot.

Academic: Our teachers were really good and they knew their stuff well. The courses were also very helpful, making us ready for hospital work. Exams were pretty standard, and I didn't find them too hard to manage. What's cool is that almost everyone passed, like 100% of us. They also gave us good coaching when exam time came. You really need to be strong in your mind to handle all the exam stress, though.

Placement: In our course, all students honestly got internships, like in almost every hospital across Tamilnadu. Also, hospitals from all over the world that need heart surgeons recruit students directly from our college. About 30% of us eventually got placed. The main jobs offered were things like head of the hospital, surgeon, ward doctor, technician, and nurse.

Campus: At our college, all facilities were really good. The labs were super clean and big enough for many students to work together easily. We had Wi-Fi available all over campus too. Food preparation was very hygienic, and the kitchen staff, especially the maids, were so nice. The whole environment felt peaceful, and even the medical room was of good quality. For sports, we had both indoor and outdoor game options.

Admission: PSGIMSR�s admission process after NEET counselling was easy to follow. Document verification was done systematically, staff were supportive throughout registration, and the orientation session helped a lot in settling in comfortably.

Academic: Every department has at least 15 to 20 teachers. We get a good mix of senior, experienced faculty and young, energetic lecturers. Most of our teachers are between 40 to 50 years old, and they all have an MD degree in their specific subjects. For the MBBS course, which is four and a half years long, we study a total of 14 different subjects. Exams happen once a year, exactly according to the university rules. The college really focuses on practical clinical learning, which helps us a lot to become good doctors.

Placement: For MBBS students, the internship is a must and it runs for a full year. The good thing is we do this internship right here in our own college. This one-year program really teaches us how to actually practice medicine. We get to work in so many different departments, like surgery, ob-gyn, ortho, skin, mind problems (psychiatry), X-ray stuff (radiology), emergency, kids (pediatrics), kids surgery, and even community health. It gives us a full picture of how to be a good doctor. Each department gives us a certain number of days to learn there. After that, they take a small test or evaluation to see how well we did.

Campus: Hostel is very close to the college, which is super convenient. All students get their own rooms, and the hostels are kept neat and clean. One common bathroom is available for every four rooms. On the ground floor, you can find laundry services and a TV room. The air flow inside is also good. Talking about the labs, they are really efficient and well-maintained. They have all the latest tech equipment, which is great for doing research work.

Admission: Getting admission in PSGIMSR through NEET counselling felt smooth and well planned. The document verification was quick, staff guided us properly during registration, and everything from the provisional admission to orientation was clearly communicated, making joining stress free.

Academic: In our college, the teachers are quite experienced. Most of them are around 40 to 50 years old and have an MD in their subject. They really know how to teach medicine because of all their experience and also they have many certificates from the Medical Council of India. Our MBBS course is for four and a half years, and we study a total of 14 subjects. First year, we learn anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry. Then in the second year, it's microbiology, pathology, forensic medicine, and pharmacology. For the third year, we have community medicine, ophthalmology, and ENT. And in the final year, we study medicine, paediatrics, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, orthopaedics, dermatology, psychiatry, plus preventive and rehabilitative medicine.

Placement: The MBBS internship is compulsory for us for one full year. Most of the time, we do this internship at our own college hospital because they have their own hospital. We get to work in lots of different departments during this internship, like surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, orthopaedics, dermatology, psychiatry, radiology, emergency, medicine, paediatrics, paediatric surgery, and community medicine. Each department gives us specific days to train in their area. Then, after our training, they conduct a test to see how well we did.

Campus: Campus is very green and beautiful, with lots of space for activities. You can go jogging, play basketball, football, cricket, badminton, or tennis here, and we also have indoor games like chess and table tennis. The hostel is quite spacious, offering individual rooms or even twin-sharing ones. Inside the rooms, they are well-ventilated and come with a table, chair, and an almirah. The mess food is delicious too, with many options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Plus, every department for MBBS has enough labs for all the students studying at that time.

Admission: Getting into PSGIMSR felt organised from the start. The state counselling based on NEET scores was clear, seat allotment was smooth, and document verification was thorough but quick. Staff helped at every step, and the orientation made onboarding easy.

Academic: From my experience here, our teachers are super helpful and they really know their stuff. All of them are well qualified, which makes learning with them quite good. The course syllabus is also very relevant, you know, it focuses on what the industry actually needs and teaches us practical skills. For the semester exams, they are not super tough, just moderate. Around 85 to 90 percent of students usually pass them.

Placement: What I liked is that our course offers good roles like software engineer, data analyst, and consultant. Most students, around 85-90%, get placed. The highest salary someone got was 15 LPA, with the average at 8 LPA and the lowest being 4 LPA. Top companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro hire from here. Also, about 70% of us managed to get internships at big names like Amazon and Deloitte.

Campus: Our hostels are pretty decent, and the rooms are always clean. The mess food is healthy, but I wish they had more options sometimes. For studies, our department has really good labs and modern classrooms with Wi-Fi. We can also use the big library whenever we need. Plus, there are medical facilities if we get sick, and the sports grounds are always well looked after.

Admission: My admission experience at PSGIMSR was very smooth. Counselling and merit list updates were clear, document verification staff were cooperative, and registration did not take much time. The process till orientation felt well managed overall.

Academic: College is really good because all the teachers here are actual doctors, and they all have post-graduate degrees in different specialities. Their teaching quality is excellent, and the college is quite famous for this. Regular classes and even small group teaching are done by these best professionals. The study material and curriculum are very relevant to what we need to learn. Medicine itself is a great field. Plus, the college offers MBBS, post-graduation courses in medicine, surgery, and also paramedical courses.

Placement: I joined this college in 2016 for MBBS, and I'll finish my course in 2021. For placements, we have hospitals, health centers, dispensaries, and clinics visiting our campus. It's great because almost everyone, like 100% of students from our MBBS course, gets an internship. A doctor usually gets a salary of about Rs. 30,000 per month after passing out.

Campus: College's facilities are actually really high standard. For studies, we get lecture galleries with projectors, and even the classrooms for clinical postings are air-conditioned. There's a big multi-speciality hospital right here on campus, so we always have medical facilities handy. Our library is awesome too, full of updated journals. When it comes to food, the mess serves decent meals. But the canteen is pretty basic, nothing fancy there.
