Admission: Applying for SMS Medical College through NEET counselling was surprisingly smooth. From merit list announcement to final seat allotment, each step was clearly communicated. Document verification on campus was quick and organized. Staff were very helpful during registration, making the journey stress-free.

Academic: This course is super helpful because once we finish, we directly become doctors. It's actually the only course that makes us proper doctors. For every subject, our college has a good team of teachers. They are all very qualified and know a lot. We also get support from many junior and senior residents. About the exams, the semester ones are pretty easy to clear. You only need 50% to pass, which is simple to get if you study normally.

Placement: For SMS Medical College, admissions happen through the NEET exam. Every year, 250 students get admitted here. You won't find any direct placements from the college itself. After completing your MBBS degree, you generally have two main choices. One is to appear for the NEET PG exam if you wish to pursue post-graduation. The other option is to clear the Medical Officer exam to become an MBBS doctor in a government hospital.

Campus: Our college has a really good infrastructure. Every subject has proper labs that are fully equipped, and all the classrooms are air-conditioned with projectors for PPTs. We also have one library and a reading hall, so there's enough space for students to study properly. At SMS Medical College, boys have three different types of hostels, which are all close by. These hostels each have their own canteen and a common sports area too. There's the SK Menon Hostel, which is a normal hostel with older infrastructure. Then we have the Senior boys hostel where single rooms are available. And for toppers, there's the Kothari Hostel, which is considered a premium boys hostel.

Admission: During my admission start, the counselling rounds were very structured. Checking the merit list was straightforward. Document verification took some time, but officials were cooperative. Final registration went smoothly, and the welcome orientation session was helpful. Overall, it was a clear and guided journey.

Academic: Our teachers are really good here. Most of them have big degrees like MD, MS, DM, M.Ch., and even PhDs, which is awesome. A lot of these professors also have more than ten years of experience teaching and working in hospitals, so they know a lot. In total, there are around 496 teachers for us students, and that means we have a super good student-to-faculty ratio of 1:5. All the teachers in different departments make sure we get a full and complete education for our MBBS course.

Placement: About internships here, all students definitely get placed because it's part of our course to finish them. These internships are mostly done in hospitals that are connected with our medical college. Also, the money you get as an MBBS intern is different depending on the state and the college you are in across India.

Campus: Campus is super big, it's spread across almost 162.74 acres. This means there's a lot of space for our classes and also for all our extracurricular stuff. Inside, we have seven lecture halls. Each hall can fit a good number of students, like 180 to 300 people. All these rooms have projectors, and they are designed well so there's good air and proper lights.

Admission: Admission at SMSMC progressed smoothly after initial counselling rounds. Online registration was straightforward, and staff at document verification were organized and helpful. From merit list declaration to final joining, everything felt transparent.

Academic: Professors here are really good, you know. They are all like, highly qualified doctors and have tons of experience, more than 10 years. What's cool is that each one has their own unique way of teaching us. But yeah, one thing, 75% attendance is super important if you want to sit for the exams. And about the exams, they are a little tough, you need 50% marks combining both theory and practical to pass.

Placement: Talking about placements, they are super good here. Weve seen the highest salary package touch 15 LPA, with the average being a solid 10 LPA, and pretty much all students get placed well. The course itself runs for 4.5 years, and then we have to do a compulsory 1-year internship. In that internship, we handle a lot of patients and work through many case studies, which gives great exposure. Also, they pay a stipend of 15-16k per month during this time.

Campus: Campus is right in the main part of Jaipur city. The buildings and facilities here are really good and modern. Mess food is nice and they keep it super clean, which is a big plus. Both indoor and outdoor games are available for students. Boys and girls have separate hostels. Getting transport is also very easy as it's all available right outside the college.

Admission: Afterwards, the admission process here felt quite smooth once I got selected. The initial registration and choice filling for counselling were straightforward. Officials were supportive during document verification, which made the final fee payment and reporting less stressful. Everything felt organized.

Academic: For the MBBS course here, the syllabus is all set by the National Medical Council. We have exams both yearly and semester by semester, which is how they check our studies. The teachers are really good, they're not just highly qualified medical professionals but also talented doctors in their own right. What I like is that this MBBS curriculum really helps us become good doctors, even though it doesn't train us for industry jobs.

Placement: When you finish MBBS, there aren't any direct placements from the college. But don't worry, you can easily get a job at a hospital after completing your MBBS. Before that, you must do a one-year internship. This compulsory internship happens at a hospital linked to our college, right after your 4.5 years of MBBS study. For better job opportunities and good salary packages, most students aim for MD or MS courses after MBBS by taking the NEET PG exams.

Campus: College has a really good campus with lots of space and nice buildings. We have all the usual stuff like a library, sports fields, different clubs, and Wi-Fi everywhere. For staying, there's a hostel for boys right inside the campus itself. But for girls, the hostel is not inside the main campus area. The hostels for both boys and girls usually have rooms for 2 or 3 people sharing. While the hostel facility sounds good, the quality of the rooms is actually just average.

Admission: Joining felt straightforward once state counselling concluded. Provisional merit list publication was timely, and document verification at the college was efficient. Staff were helpful with registration formalities, making the journey from selection to orientation clear.

Academic: The course curriculum here is really good and useful. It helps us students get ready to face patients, their diseases, and how to treat them in the future. Also, our teachers are very helpful. They always clear all our doubts during class. All the teachers and professors are highly qualified too.

Placement: When it comes to placements for MBBS students at SMS College, everyone gets placed for sure. After completing their 1-year internship, students easily get a job as a medical officer. Our graduates get opportunities in both private and government sectors. These career paths in both sectors give really good value for money.

Campus: I like about our college is the awesome infrastructure. All the practical classes have every equipment we need. Not just that, the classrooms, lecture theatres, and even practical classrooms are air-conditioned and have good light. Also, the college library is very useful as it gives books to students for free.

Admission: Getting into SMS Medical College after clearing NEET UG was quite straightforward. State counselling was well-managed, and merit list publication was timely. Staff support during document verification helped make final registration smooth.

Academic: My teachers here are really helpful and they know their subjects very well. They make sure we understand all the concepts properly. The course curriculum is also good because it helps students get ready for jobs. But passing the semester exams in this college is quite tough.

Placement: For students at SMS Medical College, there are great placement opportunities. All of us get good training for placements, and every student gets a chance to get placed. In the MBBS course, the average salary package is typically between 7 and 13 LPA. Everyone also gets internship opportunities at this college. Top job roles offered include doctor, surgeon, and other related medical positions.

Campus: SMS College provides a good hostel facility for students. The rooms are furnished and the food is quite good to eat. For the MBBS course, the college has really good quality facilities too. Like, we have Wi-Fi, proper labs, nice classrooms, a big library, and medical facilities. All these things are there so students can learn interactively.

Admission: Meanwhile, my joining process was quite efficient. From initial counselling rounds to document verification, steps were clearly communicated. Administrative staff supported us during final registration, ensuring all formalities were completed without much hassle.

Academic: From my experience, the semester exams here are quite balanced, not too tough and not too easy to clear. You need 50% overall to pass, and a minimum of 40% in just the theory papers. We also have internal tests and practicals which happen every two to three months regularly. Our teachers are super knowledgeable too, they all have specialized in what they teach.

Placement: Our college takes 250 students in each batch. We all get admission after passing the NEET UG exam, which NTA conducts every year. After your studies, everyone does an internship for 1.5 years at the hospital that's part of SMS Medical College. During this, we get a stipend of 22,000 per month. When the internship is over, you have options. You can either join SMS as a junior resident doctor with a 7 lakhs per annum salary, or you can sit for the NEET PG exam. This exam helps you specialize in different areas like MD Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics, and more.

Campus: Our college has a really advanced library, it's got the biggest collection of medical books and all other needed things. For our classes, we have modern lecture theaters. These come with top facilities like fully air-conditioned rooms, projectors that have big LED screens for students in the back rows, and good microphones and speakers too.

Admission: My admission at SMS Medical College went smoothly overall. Post-NEET counselling, seat allotment and document verification felt well-organized. Staff were helpful throughout registration, making the transition easy for new students.

Academic: Senior teachers are really helpful to all of us. Even with a big batch of 250 students, the teachers made sure to teach us in small groups, which was very useful. Sometimes, when results are being put up or during official announcements, some faculty might not be very encouraging, but thankfully, our HODs or senior staff are usually there to support us.

Placement: From my experience, SMS Medical College is a really top college. After finishing MBBS here, a lot of students get picked for NEET PG. Not just that, many also get selected for the USMLE exam to do their residence abroad. Almost 40% of our students get selected for these exams, which is a huge success and something to be proud of.

Campus: What I like about this college is the amazing infrastructure. We have so many extra activities for students like a swimming pool, a gym, and a big sports arena. The lecture theatres are also really good here. Hostel infrastructure is fine too, but the biggest issue is there's no Wi-Fi connection anywhere, not in college and not in the hostel.

Admission: My admission at SMS Medical College felt well-managed overall. After selection on the merit list, the counselling schedule was clear. Document verification went smoothly with helpful staff, and registration with final orientation was organized.

Academic: Teachers here are amazing. They are all famous doctors and surgeons from all over the country. They really care and are very keen to explain even tough medical topics in a simple way so we can understand easily. Plus, the residents in every department are also very well-trained and always help us out.

Placement: My MBBS UG course goes for 4.5 years, and then there's one year of internship. During this internship, students get to work in hospitals and also receive a stipend for it. But my view is that this stipend is really low compared to what other colleges pay.

Campus: It's very well-built. The buildings have many floors, and the inside areas are nicely decorated with lots of sunlight. We also have a big library, and seven hospitals are connected to the college, handling around 20,000 patients in their OPD. Plus, the mess food is super good, all the students give great reviews about it.

Admission: Applying to SMS Medical College after NEET went smoothly. State counselling rounds were clearly explained, and the online registration portal was easy to navigate. Document verification during reporting was efficient with helpful staff. Orientation before classes helped clarify everything.

Academic: The teachers here are super friendly with students. They always help with studies and give good motivation too. Plus, there is a mentorship program for mental health, which is really helpful. When it comes to exams, the curriculum has four parts: two internal tests, one pre-university exam, and the final university exam. This way, we get enough practice and preparation.

Placement: For doctors who finish their PG, there are so many good chances to help people and the community. A PG doctor can earn around 1 lakh rupees, which totally depends on the branch they pick during counseling. The MBBS course itself is for about 5.5 years, and that time includes the internship period too. During our internship, we get roughly 20k rupees as stipend.

Campus: Hostel facilities here are very good. Our classrooms are also very nice, they are eco-friendly, comfortable, and get lots of fresh air. The library is really awesome because it has so many medical books for students. And the canteen is a cool place where we can sit and talk about studies or even personal things with our friends.
