Admission: I really liked how all the teachers in our program were helpful and knew a lot about what they were teaching. The course we did was good and got us ready for jobs. The exams were tough, but most people passed our college had a 90% pass rate!
Placement: Around 40-45% of students in my batch got jobs after college. Companies came to hire mainly from the CSE department. The pay for our course was between 2-8 LPA. Big companies like TCS, Vincent, Myntra, Maruti Suzuki, and Teach Mahindra came for placements.
Campus: The college campus was really well-kept with great facilities. The Wi-Fi worked well everywhere and the library had lots of study materials. Our department had everything we needed for our studies.

Admission: The teachers here are really smart. Some have Ph.Ds from top colleges. I don't have any complaints about their teaching, as long as you pay attention. The course material feels a bit outdated, like it's from a few years ago. For exams, we have 2 small tests worth 15 marks each, 1 big test worth 50 marks, and the rest is personal assessments and assignments. I think it's a fair way to grade us.
Placement: I started college in 2023 for computer science after getting through JEE Main. If you score around 90 percentile or more, you have a shot at getting in. In my batch, we have around 63 students. When it comes to jobs, most seniors seem to get placed with an average package. Some even land really good ones. The highest package so far is 33 LPA, while the average is around 4-5 LPA. The top companies that come here for placements are TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant. They usually offer roles in software development.
Campus: The facilities at this college are really good! Every department has everything we need. We get free 1 GB high-speed Wi-Fi, plus there's a library and labs for computer science students. The hostel is nice too. The only downside is the food in the mess isn't great. But on the bright side, there are lots of sports facilities like a cricket stadium, volleyball, basketball, and a badminton court. It's a good place overall!

Admission: Some of the teachers here have degrees from IITs, which is pretty cool. They teach in a unique and good way. Sometimes they even send their Ph.D. students to teach. This college also has a diploma program. For B. Tech, we study Minor-1, Minor-2, and then Major subjects each semester.
Placement: Getting placed here is pretty straightforward - just make sure you don't have any backlogs and keep your grades above 7 CGPA. Big companies like Infosys, TCS, HCL, and Cognizant come for hiring. On average, people get around 5 LPA, but some top students even score 10 to 15 LPA. Every year, about half of the students get placed, which is not bad at all.
Campus: I love this college because the fees are affordable compared to others. I scored 91% in JEE Main and got into the Electronics and Communication branch, which is great based on my rank. The classrooms are nice, with many being smart classrooms. The campus is stunning, spread across 450 acres with lots of trees that make it really beautiful.

Admission: The teachers here are really good and super helpful. They get you ready for the real world and the stuff you learn is actually useful. The exams are not too tough, but you gotta put in about 3 hours of study every day. If you keep up with that, getting a 4 CGPA is totally doable.
Placement: To get a job, you need a 6.5 CGPA. The highest salary offered is 22 lakhs, the lowest is 3 lakhs, and the average is 7 lakhs. Companies look for a CGPA of 8.5 or higher, along with technical skills, good communication, and work knowledge. For internships, you'll need a CGPA of 8.5 or higher.
Campus: The facilities here are pretty good. The food in the mess isn't the best, but it's okay. It costs around 3000 per month. The medical services are just okay, but they're quick to help when needed. The sports facilities are awesome! They even have a tournament every month.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful and supportive. They teach okay, nothing too fancy. The course focuses on real-world stuff. We have two kinds of exams - a smaller one that happens twice a semester, and a big one at the end. They're not too hard to do well on, so you can still balance your other stuff and pass.
Placement: Lots of companies visit our college for placements. For mechanical engineering, there are firms like Tata Motors and Tata Steel. Other companies like L&T, TCS, Wipro, Godrej Aerospace, and Deltax also come for placements. The highest package this year is 11 LPA, which is pretty good.
Campus: The Wi-Fi here is okay, but it's limited to 1 GB a day which kinda sucks. The college has lots of cool stuff like a gym, stadium, sports center, health center, and a big library. The hostel is nice and clean, and there's a shopping place nearby for what we need. Sports stuff isn't huge here, though.

Admission: I go to sliet, which is a government college under the Ministry of Education. The teachers are really knowledgeable in their fields. Some are strict but others are really nice. Our course is made to fit what industries need now. The semester exams aren't too hard, so you can study for other tests while doing your own subjects.
Placement: The placements at Sant Longowal Institute of Technology are okay. Mostly, students from Computer Science get placed. The average package is around 5 lakhs per year. Off-campus placements are more common than on-campus ones. The highest package offered is 30 LPA, but that's for off-campus placements. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, and Amul visit the campus for hiring.
Campus: The facilities at Sant Longowal Institute of Technology are really good. They have top-notch labs for all the engineering departments. The classrooms have smartboards which is cool. In the hostels, both for boys and girls, we get Wi-Fi with a daily limit of 1 GB for 1st to 3rd year students and 2 GB for 4th years. The food in the mess is okay. We also have a small hospital on campus and the sports grounds are kept in good shape.

Admission: The teachers here are really knowledgeable. They're cool with us students and we have a good connection. Exams are split into three parts: two small ones and one big end-of-semester test. It's not too stressful.
Placement: The mechanical engineering department at SLIET is great for placements around 80-90% of students get jobs. The highest package in mechanical is 18 LPA, and the average is 4.30 LPA. Top companies like TCS, Wipro, L&T, and Tech Mahindra come for recruitment.
Campus: The college has good infrastructure. The classrooms are big and well-organized. There's a library open till 7 PM and even on weekends till 5 PM. The Wi-Fi in hostels is okay but they only give 1 GB for us undergrad students. It's kind of annoying.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They really know their stuff and they're always there to help. I think the way they teach is pretty cool. The course material is good, but it could use some updates to keep up with what's going on in the industry now. The exams are not too hard, you can definitely pass with some studying. Last semester, everyone in our department passed, which was pretty neat.
Placement: Most students in our department got jobs, with the highest salary being 11 LPA from Hindustan Unilever for the 2024-2025 batch. The lowest pay is around 3.5 LPA, and the average is about 4.5 LPA. The main companies hiring from our course are Hindustan Unilever, WABAG, Infosys, and others. In the third year, everyone gets a chance for an internship, but they're not paid. Only a few students get paid internships through the department.
Campus: Our college has great infrastructure, especially our Department building which is awesome and has all the facilities we need. The labs are well-equipped with everything we need. The library has a wide variety of books, from academic to motivational ones. In the first and second years, students share a room with two others, but from the third year, many students get their own room based on their grades. The hostel infrastructure is good too.

Admission: The teachers are okay, not too bad. The exams are spread out nicely, but the stuff we learn is kinda old-fashioned and too focused on theory. You gotta show up to class 75% of the time, except for mechanical students. The exams are pretty simple, they're based on old papers, and you can pass with just one night of cramming.
Placement: The placement rates are pretty decent here. Mechanical batch has 49% placement, while Computer Science has 42%. For fields like Food Chemistry and Electronics, it's around 9%. If you're into welding technology, the placements are good. Most students get internships from government sectors like NTPC and DRDO.
Campus: The campus here is pretty nice, better than other places I've seen. We've got clubs and stuff, and the hostels are decent. The food in the mess is just okay, not great, especially for us southerners. The Wi-Fi is a bit limited, only 1GB a day, and it's not super fast. They do have medical help, and the mess only serves veg food.

Admission: The faculty here are really friendly and know their stuff. They teach well, but the labs could use some improvements to help us understand real-world applications better. The semester exams are not too tough as long as you study the notes the teachers give you. You can get good marks if you do that.
Placement: Around half of the students in our college find placements, while others pursue further studies or government jobs. Top companies like Wagah Limited, Khanna Paper, Hindustan Unilever Limited, Jindal Steel, and Infosys come for hiring. The college offers internships to all third-year students, but some students manage to secure internships in their second year too through their own efforts.
Campus: Our college has a library with lots of books and a digital library too. They give us 1 GB of free internet. There's a study room and cheap hostels. We have a cricket ground, badminton court, volleyball court, and basketball court. And a running ground, too. A health center is also on campus. But the food in the mess is not good. Some students got sick from it.
