Admission: The teachers here are really good and super helpful. They get you ready for the real world and the stuff you learn is actually useful. The exams are not too tough, but you gotta put in about 3 hours of study every day. If you keep up with that, getting a 4 CGPA is totally doable.
Placement: To get a job, you need a 6.5 CGPA. The highest salary offered is 22 lakhs, the lowest is 3 lakhs, and the average is 7 lakhs. Companies look for a CGPA of 8.5 or higher, along with technical skills, good communication, and work knowledge. For internships, you'll need a CGPA of 8.5 or higher.
Campus: The facilities here are pretty good. The food in the mess isn't the best, but it's okay. It costs around 3000 per month. The medical services are just okay, but they're quick to help when needed. The sports facilities are awesome! They even have a tournament every month.

Admission: I go to sliet, which is a government college under the Ministry of Education. The teachers are really knowledgeable in their fields. Some are strict but others are really nice. Our course is made to fit what industries need now. The semester exams aren't too hard, so you can study for other tests while doing your own subjects.
Placement: The placements at Sant Longowal Institute of Technology are okay. Mostly, students from Computer Science get placed. The average package is around 5 lakhs per year. Off-campus placements are more common than on-campus ones. The highest package offered is 30 LPA, but that's for off-campus placements. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, and Amul visit the campus for hiring.
Campus: The facilities at Sant Longowal Institute of Technology are really good. They have top-notch labs for all the engineering departments. The classrooms have smartboards which is cool. In the hostels, both for boys and girls, we get Wi-Fi with a daily limit of 1 GB for 1st to 3rd year students and 2 GB for 4th years. The food in the mess is okay. We also have a small hospital on campus and the sports grounds are kept in good shape.

Admission: Some of the teachers here have degrees from IITs, which is pretty cool. They teach in a unique and good way. Sometimes they even send their Ph.D. students to teach. This college also has a diploma program. For B. Tech, we study Minor-1, Minor-2, and then Major subjects each semester.
Placement: Getting placed here is pretty straightforward - just make sure you don't have any backlogs and keep your grades above 7 CGPA. Big companies like Infosys, TCS, HCL, and Cognizant come for hiring. On average, people get around 5 LPA, but some top students even score 10 to 15 LPA. Every year, about half of the students get placed, which is not bad at all.
Campus: I love this college because the fees are affordable compared to others. I scored 91% in JEE Main and got into the Electronics and Communication branch, which is great based on my rank. The classrooms are nice, with many being smart classrooms. The campus is stunning, spread across 450 acres with lots of trees that make it really beautiful.

Admission: The teachers here are really knowledgeable. They're cool with us students and we have a good connection. Exams are split into three parts: two small ones and one big end-of-semester test. It's not too stressful.
Placement: The mechanical engineering department at SLIET is great for placements around 80-90% of students get jobs. The highest package in mechanical is 18 LPA, and the average is 4.30 LPA. Top companies like TCS, Wipro, L&T, and Tech Mahindra come for recruitment.
Campus: The college has good infrastructure. The classrooms are big and well-organized. There's a library open till 7 PM and even on weekends till 5 PM. The Wi-Fi in hostels is okay but they only give 1 GB for us undergrad students. It's kind of annoying.

Admission: I found that some of the teachers here are really helpful, but there are a few who might get on your case if you miss too many classes. So, it's better to show up as often as you can. In the first year, we got some training to learn about how things work in the industry, which was cool. All the teachers have Ph.Ds, which is pretty neat. The semester exams aren't too tough; you just need to study a bit the day before to do well.
Placement: The CS branch placement rate has dropped because of the recession, but the chemical branch still has a 99% placement rate. Before the recession hit, CS had a 100% placement rate and the highest offer was 68 LPA off-campus. TCS is the main company that hires students, and most students end up interning there.
Campus: The study center is good for self-study, and there's a library with 10,000 books. The food in the mess isn't the best, but you can adjust to it. The medical facilities are really good. Plus, if you're into sports and have played at a high level, you can use all the sports facilities.

Admission: Some professors are friendly and smart, but others aren't very helpful. We mostly have to study on our own here. There are three exams in total - two minor ones worth 15 marks each and one major exam. The teachers grade the exams fairly, which is good. The Chemistry department is known for being the strictest in our college.
Placement: Most chemical engineering students get placed, but the salary packages offered aren't very high. They range from 3 to 8 Lacs. Only a few students manage to snag packages of 6 to 12 Lacs per year. Companies like Asian Paints and Pakka Limited come for placements. We need to find internships on our own.
Campus: The facilities in our department are pretty good. You'll be happy with the infrastructure and amenities. We have digital boards, AC classrooms, and all the equipment you need in the lab. The hostel rooms are nice too, with a table and chair.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful and supportive. They teach okay, nothing too fancy. The course focuses on real-world stuff. We have two kinds of exams - a smaller one that happens twice a semester, and a big one at the end. They're not too hard to do well on, so you can still balance your other stuff and pass.
Placement: Lots of companies visit our college for placements. For mechanical engineering, there are firms like Tata Motors and Tata Steel. Other companies like L&T, TCS, Wipro, Godrej Aerospace, and Deltax also come for placements. The highest package this year is 11 LPA, which is pretty good.
Campus: The Wi-Fi here is okay, but it's limited to 1 GB a day which kinda sucks. The college has lots of cool stuff like a gym, stadium, sports center, health center, and a big library. The hostel is nice and clean, and there's a shopping place nearby for what we need. Sports stuff isn't huge here, though.

Admission: The teachers here are really smart. Some have Ph.Ds from top colleges. I don't have any complaints about their teaching, as long as you pay attention. The course material feels a bit outdated, like it's from a few years ago. For exams, we have 2 small tests worth 15 marks each, 1 big test worth 50 marks, and the rest is personal assessments and assignments. I think it's a fair way to grade us.
Placement: I started college in 2023 for computer science after getting through JEE Main. If you score around 90 percentile or more, you have a shot at getting in. In my batch, we have around 63 students. When it comes to jobs, most seniors seem to get placed with an average package. Some even land really good ones. The highest package so far is 33 LPA, while the average is around 4-5 LPA. The top companies that come here for placements are TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant. They usually offer roles in software development.
Campus: The facilities at this college are really good! Every department has everything we need. We get free 1 GB high-speed Wi-Fi, plus there's a library and labs for computer science students. The hostel is nice too. The only downside is the food in the mess isn't great. But on the bright side, there are lots of sports facilities like a cricket stadium, volleyball, basketball, and a badminton court. It's a good place overall!

Admission: The teachers at our college are really smart and know their stuff. Each branch has its own counselor, and every student gets their own mentor too. The course content is practical and helps us understand how to use what we learn in real life. We have exams 3 times per semester - two minors and one major. It's great to have so much support and guidance here.
Placement: The college offers placements, but the number of placements has been dropping in recent years. Companies like Infosys, TCS, JSL, and others come every year to hire students. The highest salary offered is 21 LPA, and the average is 4 LPA.
Campus: I really like how our course is set up. It's not just about theory; we also get hands-on experience. The classrooms, labs, and library are all in great shape. The library, digital library, and reading hall are nice and cool with air conditioning. The hostel is decent, but it could use some renovations soon. The only downside for me is the food in the mess.

Admission: I really liked how all the teachers in our program were helpful and knew a lot about what they were teaching. The course we did was good and got us ready for jobs. The exams were tough, but most people passed our college had a 90% pass rate!
Placement: Around 40-45% of students in my batch got jobs after college. Companies came to hire mainly from the CSE department. The pay for our course was between 2-8 LPA. Big companies like TCS, Vincent, Myntra, Maruti Suzuki, and Teach Mahindra came for placements.
Campus: The college campus was really well-kept with great facilities. The Wi-Fi worked well everywhere and the library had lots of study materials. Our department had everything we needed for our studies.
