Admission: Getting admitted to SASTRA felt well-managed. The application portal worked well, counselling steps were easy to follow, and document verification was handled without hassles.

Academic: Our college has three mid-term exams. These exams are super helpful for scoring good marks if you just put in a bit of effort. Plus, our teachers always give us different assignments. This helps us stay focused on our studies, but we still get enough free time to do other things that can be useful for our future.

Placement: When it comes to jobs, last year 84% of students got placed. I think this shows most people are pretty sure they will find a job easily. Big companies, like Switch companies, visit every year and give many different offers. This helps secure our future.

Campus: My college campus has good WiFi, and the classrooms and library are also quite nice. But the main problem here is definitely the food. They only allow pure vegetarian food in the mess and canteen. So, for students who eat non-veg, it's super tough to eat this low-spicy vegetarian food every single day. This is a major drawback of our college.

Admission: Everything about the SASTRA admission process felt professional. Online registration worked smoothly, merit list release was timely, counselling sessions were clear, and document verification did not take long.

Academic: Teachers are very knowledgeable and friendly. They are quite talented, and you will learn a lot from them. They also get students ready for placements properly. Semester exams are not that tough if you study for a month before. But yes, your internal marks are super important. If you want to do research papers, you can do them with the staff too.

Placement: Placements are decent here. The highest salary package someone got was 26 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. Usually, students get around 10 LPA on average. If your CGPA is good, like 8 or 8.5, you can sit for many companies. Even if you have a CGPA of 7.0 or more, you can still get an average salary. Big companies like Deloitte and TCS hire students from our college. They offer roles such as network engineering and software development.

Campus: For girl students, the food and the regular hostel facilities are kind of below average, though the new hostel is an exception. If you get placed early, like in the 7th or 8th semester, then you can truly enjoy your last semester's academic life.

Academic: Attendance here is pretty strict, you need to make sure you have at least 80% in every subject and overall also. For exams, the syllabus is always very clear, and they keep a very close eye on us during the tests, so no funny business. Good thing is, most students pass, like more than 50% actually in each subject. We also have experienced teachers who teach us all the main things very thoroughly.

Placement: Placements for my course are good, with 95% of students getting jobs. The highest package someone got was 22 LPA, which is awesome. Top companies like Amazon, TCS, and Google come to our campus to hire. About 40% of students also got internships. To get a good placement, your CGPA in the final year is super important. Campus selection starts right at the beginning of the fourth year, and almost everyone manages to get a job.

Campus: Our college has good CSE labs, and the library is also well-designed. They dont have hostel facilities inside the campus, but there is a canteen available. What's also great is that the campus supports sports and games, and we get NCC training from experienced teachers. Plus, the Mechanical and EEE labs are also highly equipped.

Academic: Our teachers here are friendly and they know so much. They always help us out and clear all our doubts very well. The course we study is also quite good, it's very helpful for what the industry wants. But yeah, the exams are a bit tough. Both the semester exams and the CIA exams are not easy, you need to study hard for them.

Placement: Talking about placements for Computer Science students, about 80 to 90 percent of them get placed each year, which is pretty good. The highest salary package goes up to 35 LPA to 40 LPA. On average, students get packages around 7 LPA to 8.5 LPA. Even the lowest package is okay, typically around 3.5 LPA to 4 LPA. Big companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys come for recruitment here.

Campus: At our college, the labs are quite good, and medical facilities are also nice. But honestly, the infrastructure is pretty poor compared to other colleges. The mess food is just okay, nothing special really. Also, since it's a Brahmin University, they don't allow you to eat non-veg food inside the campus.

Campus: For our course and department, the college has good facilities and infrastructure. We get proper Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a big library. Hostel facilities are quite good quality, and the food in both the mess and canteen is tasty. Also, they provide medical help, and we have options for sports and games.

We get a lot of practical work, but honestly, it's quite hard if you compare it to other colleges. MID exams feel a bit tricky, but it's actually easy to score good marks in the main semester exams.

Campus: From my experience here, the classrooms are good, with space for 60 students and a projector in each. Our library is stacked with more than 10,000 books. Also, there's Wi-Fi available all over the campus. All the necessary equipment is there in our labs. About the hostel, the rooms are quite nice, but the mess food is just average.

We do a lot of practical work here, both for our exams and sometimes we go for industrial visits. The pass percentage is usually around 56% only.

Placement: At our college, for the academic year 2025, around 250 students from the IT branch got placed. Overall, the campus placement percentage is usually between 70 to 75%, which is pretty decent. The highest package someone got was 34 LPA, that too for a CSE student, while the lowest package was 6 LPA. Honestly, not many students manage to get internships in their first three years here.

Campus: In our college, the classrooms are good with proper sitting places and projectors for studies. We get Wi-Fi access all over the campus, which is very helpful. The library is also well-stocked with over 10,000 books and has a separate study hall. For practicals, the labs have all the necessary equipment. The mess food is decent, but one important thing is that it's a vegetarian-only college.

Plus, scoring marks in internals is not easy at all.

Placement: Many of us get good internships during our third and fourth years here. The college also has good placements overall, with a lot of students getting placed, even if they dont give out official statistics. Top companies like Zoho and Deloitte visit for recruitment. Mostly, the roles offered are in software.

Campus: Our college has nice classrooms and the labs here are super good, very well-equipped which helps a lot for both studies and doing research. There are also many sports facilities, and they even have a gym available for students. One thing though, the food quality is below average. For Wi-Fi, facilities are there but you can only use it on one device.
