Academic: What I really like about our college is how good the teachers are. They're super qualified and know a lot, always ready to help. Their teaching style is also excellent; they make classes very interactive and talk about important topics in detail. Plus, the course syllabus is very relevant to what the industry wants these days.

Placement: The college has really good connections with different industries, which is great. Because of this, our overall placement percentage for all medical departments is 100%. They also conduct many seminars that are super helpful for students to get good placements and internship opportunities right from the college.

Campus: My college has really good facilities and infrastructure. Like, there's a big lab for all our testing and research projects. We also get 24x7 Wi-Fi access in the hostel and in the library, which is very useful. The college canteen is good, and the mess food for our meals is also very nice.

Academic: Initially, I was not sure if Stanley was a good choice compared to Coimbatore MC, as Coimbatore is my city. But now, I am really glad I chose this college. The course curriculum covers many topics, and every department makes sure we get the basic knowledge of all subjects properly. For non-clinical subjects, practicals are given the same importance as theory. And we really learn a lot during our clinical postings.

Placement: About future work options, getting into government hospitals means you have to clear a specific government exam. For general practice, private hospitals are a good choice, or you can even open your own clinic. Our college also gives good internship facilities, and they pay a stipend of almost Rs. 13,000 during that time.

Campus: Hostel is newly renovated and quite spacious. The mess food here is really tasty, and the menu makes sure we get all the nutrients needed. Every day, there are options for both non-veg and veg meals. Hostel students pay monthly for their mess bills and room rent, which usually comes to about 3-4k per month on average. Each room is shared by three members, and we get continuous water and electricity facilities.

Academic: From my experience here, our teachers are very helpful. We get to learn from many famous doctors and surgeons from all over India. The MBBS course curriculum, set by the old MCI and now by the NMC, is also recognized in most countries globally.

Placement: After our MBBS course is done, students can work in both government and private places. We also have the freedom to open our own clinic or just practice medicine on our own. Once we complete our studies, we can become registered doctors. If you want central or state government jobs, those are available too, but you need to meet some rules and pass competitive exams. Most people suggest doing a post-graduate course for better job chances and more placement opportunities.

Campus: My college has really good facilities for everyone. Each department here has its own library, and the main library is super loaded with the newest books, from both Indian and foreign writers. These books cover 19 UG subjects, plus all the postgraduate and super speciality courses too. Our classrooms are big, they can fit 250 students easily. They also have good air and lights, making it a comfy place for students to learn. Plus, they use stuff like microphones, loudspeakers, and projectors to make classes easier to understand. The best part is our medical college is attached to a big hospital. This hospital takes care of all kinds of health problems for a million people across Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.

Academic: In Stanley medical hospital, we get to see so many patients, which means we learn a lot of new stuff. Our teachers are really friendly and know everything about their subjects. They are well-trained and teach in a really great way. Medical university exams are super tough, but the staff members help us a lot to make sure we clear them.

Placement: Stanley Medical College is super famous for its surgery and liver transplantation. The staff here train their students really well. If you are an MBBS student at Stanley and want to get PG seats, you must clear NEET or NEXT. This college also has many PG seats available for master, diploma, and other degree courses.

Campus: Our college has really good facilities. All departments have their own separate labs. The classrooms are super big, easily fitting like 250 students or maybe more. Our college and hostel areas are also eco-friendly. The hostel has all facilities you'd need. You know how water is a problem in Chennai, right? But luckily, at Stanley, there's no water issue at all for us. Plus, they organize lots of events for cultural stuff and sports, which is great.

Academic: What I really like here is how good the teaching is. Our teachers are super humble and always ready to help us out. They know a lot and have great clinical experience, which is very useful. They don't rush through topics; instead, they go slowly and even have revision classes. This makes it really easy for us to understand everything properly, unlike other colleges. The course itself is very relevant and actually helps you become a real doctor and a good person. Coming to exams, the semester ones are not too hard. You can totally pass them if you study well for just the last two months. Our seniors are helpful and guide us on important questions to focus on. You just need to score more than 50% to pass. Even if 5 to 10 students fail in a batch, they always get a second chance with supplementary exams.

Placement: Around 220 to 250 students from our batch get placed every year, landing good jobs in the best hospitals here in Tamil Nadu. The highest salary package offered was pretty good, going from 3 LPA up to 7 LPA. What's even more surprising is that the lowest salary someone got was around 50,000 to 70,000 rupees a month! For internships, all students do them right here in our college hospital only. We have so many good government hospitals in Tamil Nadu, which is a plus. It's also interesting to know that the founder of Apollo is a 'stanlean', from our college background. Our college faculty includes top people like the Dean, professors, and even chief surgeons.

Campus: Our college has pretty good facilities, I must say. The labs are really good, with all modern stuff, and classrooms are clean and big, kept very well. The new lecture halls even have AC. For Wi-Fi, you can only use it in the library for studying, like journals and research, not for personal things. Speaking of the library, it has a cool, AC self-reading room and tons of books in different sections. Hostels for first-year students are in older buildings, but they are still well kept and totally enough. After the first year, seniors get new buildings. In the first year, three students stay in one room, but from second year onwards, it's two students per room. Mess food is okay, and you can usually adjust to it. The canteen is close by and good for quick snacks. Medical facilities here are awesome, no doubt, plus there's a government pharmacy nearby that gives free medicines. Sports facilities are also super good, with many clubs for hockey, football, basketball, cricket, throwball, volleyball, and more. They even have inter-college tournaments every month.

If you are planning to do PG, you need to clear the NEET PG entrance exam. Otherwise, we can easily find jobs in different hospitals. Thanks to our college's reputation, these hospitals usually offer a minimum of 60-70k per month.

Campus: Talking about the hostel, it's run by the government. The buildings are quite old and need a lot of renovation, which is actually happening right now. Infrastructure is just okay, nothing fancy, you only get the basic things. Cleanliness is also just average. We all share common bathrooms and a common dining area. But the food is actually pretty good here because students manage the mess themselves, not a contractor. For facilities, our hostel has a gym, a library, a study room, a recreation room, and good Wi-Fi access.

Academic: Our college has really good teachers and they are all very educated, having completed their PG. Many of them are also working as government doctors, which is great. They are quite friendly with us and teach us important things like how to behave properly with patients and also about life ethics. Placement: Our institute starts teaching all the clinical things right from the second year. They even help second-year students with job postings. The internship period here is super important for us students to learn properly. If you study well, you can definitely become a good doctor and help people. I am sure every student will become a good doctor when they pass out from here.

Campus: Here at our college, the hostels are really good. Every batch gets its own hostel, and the rooms are very clean and neat. You get all the stuff you need in the hostel, it truly feels like a home away from home. Also, the college has clean classrooms, two hospitals, and a library with all medical books you might need to study. And for fun, we have all sorts of sports here.

Academic: College faculty is awesome, they are super friendly. They get how we students learn and then help us out based on that. The way they teach is just amazing. Most teachers use PPTs for theory classes and also give us notes. Exams here are mostly about practical stuff and real-life problems, which really helps us understand things better.

Placement: At Stanley Medical College, students must do a compulsory one-year internship after they finish their course. This internship gives us good practical knowledge and experience. We get to do it either at the college or at one of its associated hospitals, and they give us about 25,000 rupees every month. Because of this, the placements at our college are quite good. After completing this internship, we have two options: either we can start practicing medicine independently or go for higher studies.

Campus: College infrastructure is pretty solid. We have four main buildings on the campus. All our classrooms come with centralized air conditioning and smart boards, making them quite modern. The college library is updated with plenty of course-related books, journals, and other study materials. We also get Wi-Fi all over the campus, which is very helpful. For practicals, the labs have all the equipment we need for practice. The canteen food is good too, and they offer a nice variety of snacks. Plus, hostel facilities are available if you need them.
