Admission: The teachers at our college are pretty good. They know their stuff and make classes easy to follow. I'd say they deserve a 7 out of 10. But sometimes, they go too fast. It's hard to keep up and some topics get left out. The course plan is okay, not amazing. We're linked with MAKAUT, so the exams are tough. Passing is set at 35%, which can be a challenge.
Placement: I'm studying B.Tech in CSE at Techno International Batanagar. It may not be the best college out there, but it's good enough to earn your degree and land a decent job. I'm starting my 5th semester soon. In the last batch, someone from CSE got a whopping 33 LPA, the highest in the whole batch. Almost everyone here gets placed through on-campus interviews, around 98% to 99% every year. On average, we usually see salaries around 4 to 5 LPA. Most students end up in tech or IT roles, but some also become data analysts.
Campus: The college labs are really big and the classrooms feel open. The campus is pretty large, but there's no Wi-Fi for students. Our library is nice and roomy, with a peaceful vibe. There's also a small playground and a canteen. The computers and equipment in the labs all work well, even though they're a bit old. Plus, every computer has the latest operating system.

Admission: The teachers here are pretty good. They know their stuff and some of them are really helpful. The courses they offer are practical and prepare you for the real world. Plus, they give us 2 tests during each semester, which is great for practice.
Placement: The placement rates are really good here. But the placement office doesn't offer much help. They mainly just send out job emails. There's not a ton of support. But overall, most students do end up getting jobs. The top salary is about 32 Lakhs per year.
Campus: The Wi-Fi at the college is a major issue - it just doesn't connect properly. The classrooms are big and roomy, with AC labs that are also quite spacious. The library is huge, but it doesn't have all the books we need. The canteen is pretty big, but the food quality isn't great. As for the Girls' Hostel, it's honestly terrible. The hygiene is bad, the rooms are not good, and the food is pretty bad too. All in all, the Girls' Hostel is just bad all around.

Admission: The teachers here are really good. They know their stuff and have experience in the industry. Exams are serious but fair. Most students have around an 8 CGPA. They cover all the material before the semester ends. They provide good notes, have weekly tests, and offer extra help if you need it. The teachers are friendly and make sure everyone is okay. You'll definitely learn a lot here.
Placement: Most students get placed, which is great. The highest salary offered is around 32 LPA, while the average is about 5 LPA. The college works hard to improve placements regularly. You can even get internships starting from the 2nd year. And they help a lot with placements too.
Campus: The college hostel here is pretty small.

Admission: The teachers are really helpful and know their stuff. But sometimes they start teaching in our mother tongue, Bengali. It's good for getting ready for the industry. The semester exams are tough, but the trick is to study hard for easy exams and easy for hard ones. Around 40% of students pass.
Placement: About 10% of students in my B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering course haven't landed a job yet. The highest salary package I've heard of is 18LPA, but that was off campus. On average, most students are getting around 4-6LPA. The lowest package I know of is 1.8LPA. Some big companies like TCS, Deloitte, Amazon, Accenture, Microsoft, and Infotech are hiring here. As for internships, around 20% of students in my batch have already snagged one. The roles available are software developer, web developer, customer support executive, and more.
Campus: My college is really small, so if you're looking for a happening college life, this might not be the best choice. We don't have any sports events or fun festivals here, and the infrastructure isn't that great either. The only canteen we have is pretty basic. But there is a small garden-like playground where you can play football, volleyball, or cricket.

Admission: The campus buildings could use some upgrades, but the teachers here are super helpful. They really help us with our projects and even get us ready for exams. Speaking of exams, they can be a bit tough, but the teachers are always there to help out.
Placement: I'm a student at this college, and I gotta say, the job situation is not looking good this year. None of us have gotten placed yet, and about 10% of us are still waiting for a job. It's kinda sad that not many companies are coming to our college this year, so we don't even know what the average salary will be. Usually, we get companies like Deloitte, Cognizant, and TCS hiring students, but not this time. Hoping things get better soon!
Campus: The size difference between our school and college is pretty noticeable. Our school is much bigger than our college. Even though they're similar, we're not too happy with how small our college is. The difference in size is quite clear when you look at the buildings.

Admission: The teachers know their stuff, but it's hard to understand them because of the language problem. They mostly speak in Bengali, which can be tough if you're not from there. Some try to use Hindi, but only a few are good in English. The syllabus is always late, which seems to be a common thing in many colleges. One teacher just gives us notes from YouTube without really teaching. But they are patient and repeat things if you don't get it. In the fifth semester, we're finally getting into software engineering, which is cool for learning website stuff. They do help with soft skills and group discussions, but that's all for getting ready for a job. The exams are weird, with questions that don't make sense sometimes. About 60% pass, and the rest have to retake some subjects. But if you pay for a review, more people pass. It's a mixed bag, but things are improving.
Placement: My college is part of the Techno group, so we have good companies coming to hire students. Around half of my classmates got placed, with the highest salary being 20 lpa from Amazon. Companies like Infosys and Amazon come for recruitment. I'm in my third year now and haven't explored internships offered by the college yet. I found one on my own. Overall, the Techno group is good, but I can't say the same for Techno International Batanagar.
Campus: The classrooms are pretty basic, no fancy stuff like Wi-Fi, digital boards, or AC. Wi-Fi is only in the computer labs, but the signal's weak. Library has only textbooks, no novels or fun reads. Playground feels like someone's backyard. Canteen's meh, food's not great. Might even help you lose a few pounds! Medical facilities are minimal, maybe just a first-aid kit. They do a sports day every year with cricket, badminton, and football. That's about all there is to it.

Admission: The teachers at our college are super helpful and really know their stuff. They're all experts in their fields. I make sure to start prepping for the semester exams early because they can be pretty challenging. You need to score at least 40% to pass, and part of that comes from internal exams that count for 20%.
Placement: The highest salary offered at our college is 18 lakhs per year, but that's for off-campus jobs. On average, students here get around 4 lakhs per year. However, this year things are a bit chaotic because no companies have visited our college yet for placements. Only one student has been placed so far, which is disappointing for all of us.
Campus: I really like this college. It's not the best, but I'm happy here. I've always wanted to study engineering, so I'm cool with how things are. The hostel is nice, I live there and I enjoy it. And there's a canteen which is great too.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful, qualified, and know their stuff. Plus, they're all about being eco-friendly. They give us all the notes we need before exams and teach us about the latest tech stuff. They offer B.Tech and Diploma courses, which is awesome.
Placement: The college has an 80% placement rate, which is pretty good. They say 100% placement, but that's not always true. For ECE & CSE students, it's great because lots of IT companies hire from here. But for EE students, it's tough because core companies hire fewer people.
Campus: I'm studying the 4-year regular full-time B.Tech course here. They also offer a 3-year B.Tech course for students like me. The campus has free Wi-Fi and is safe from ragging. The classrooms and labs are modern and clean. It's a nice, nature-friendly campus with friendly seniors and teachers. Plus, there's a canteen and hostel for students.

Admission: The teachers are really helpful, but how much help you get depends on how much you put in. We have a lot of exams and assignments, and they come one after the other pretty quickly. The exams are taken seriously, and there are always two teachers there during class.
Placement: I think around 70% of students here get placed, and the average package is around 14 to 15 LPA. The college does offer placement chances, but it all comes down to how good you are at what you do, your grades, and attendance. There are plenty of companies that come for placements, and the highest package goes up to 32 LPA.
Campus: The college has good infrastructure and the building is well-kept. There's a field for playing football, volleyball, and other games. The labs are well-maintained, and the teachers are good. But the canteen food isn't great and it's pricey.

Admission: The faculty used to be awesome until 2020. But things went downhill after that. They're not teaching well anymore. The university conducted our semester exams, and they were super hard. Plus, the guards were really strict during exams.
Placement: Hardly any of us got jobs after finishing our course. And the only ones available were in BPOs for B.Tech grads. No campus placements here. They just upload our resumes on random job sites. The head of the department even promised us jobs, but when college ended, he said it was all a lie.
Campus: The college building and hostel were both not great. The hostel had just 3 large rooms where they put 12 students, with 4 students in each room. There wasn't any Wi-Fi in the hostel. The food in the canteen was just okay.
