Admission: My admission at UBS was calm and organized. Merit list updates were timely, counselling sessions were clear, and staff assistance during verification and registration reduced stress.
Academic: I think our course would be way better if it included more subjects like data analytics and machine learning. Our college course structure is relevant, but honestly, we need way more practical training. The teachers here are super experienced, some having over 35 years of teaching. Also, it would be really helpful if they discussed more real-life case studies in class and made more room for peer-to-peer learning.
Placement: For our course, the placements are really good. Around 95% of students from our batch got placed, which is awesome. The highest salary package someone got was 53 LPA, and the lowest was 7 LPA. Mostly, the average salary package for students was around 10 LPA. Lots of top companies come to hire us, like Tolaram, American Express, HSBC, CBD, HMEL, Yes Bank, HDFC, ICICI, EY, KPMG, SBI, Infosys, Wipro, Paisabazaar, Trident Group, Smartcube, and Uflex. We mostly get job roles like relationship manager, sales manager, market research, market analyst, HR trainee, or consultant.
Campus: At our college, we have really nice air-conditioned classrooms and a dedicated management library too. For students living in the hostel, there are great sports facilities like tennis, football, cricket, and even badminton courts. The food quality is good; you can find it at the food truck and also in the hostel mess. Right now, for breakfast and snacks, the UBS department uses the law canteen which is not far, just a few meters away. But UBS is planning to build its own canteen very soon. There's a strong culture of games and sports here, and our UBS team also takes part in sports festivals organized by big B-schools like IIM Amritsar and IIM Sirmaur.

Admission: My admission at University Business School progressed smoothly from application to final registration. Online processes were well-structured, document verification was efficient, and the orientation program added clarity to the joining process.
Academic: From my experience here at UBS, our teachers are really good and know a lot. But the problem is, the course syllabus is quite old and not up to date, it's not really up to the mark for today's industry. You have to work super hard yourself because teachers won't really guide you much on what to do. They don't take much initiative here; it's mostly up to the students to make their own choices. This is a bit of a weak point for UBS. Even though the teachers are super knowledgeable, they are often busy with their own work. The course doesn't fully make us ready for the job market. We hardly ever do any case studies in college, and that's a big deal for any MBA program. So, this is a major drawback for PU.
Placement: This year around 90% of students got placed, which is a bit lower than last year's 100%. This dip happened mainly due to the recession and pandemic, I think. The highest package someone got was 55 Lacs from Tolaram Group, while Wipro offered the lowest at about 6.5 Lacs. The average package was around 9 Lacs. Many top companies visit our college for placements, like American Express, Tolaram Group, Trident, SBI General, HDFC, Bacardi, Infosys, Finxera, Wipro, and E&Y. Most of the roles offered are for marketing. Finance roles are not very common, but this year, E&Y did pick two students for finance positions. Hope this helps you know more.
Campus: The best part of PU is definitely its huge and amazing infrastructure. There's a common air-conditioned Joshi library, plus every department has its own library, which is super convenient. Hostels are good here, especially for the fee we pay. And you know what, the food is good and very cheap too. For students, there's a free health center on campus, and we also have stationery shops and excellent sports facilities. What's also great is that Wi-Fi is provided by each department, and it works everywhere on the PU campus.

Admission: From the moment the merit list was announced, my admission journey at UBS felt well-coordinated. Counselling and document verification were handled efficiently, staff explained each step patiently, and registration with fee payment was simple and smooth.
Academic: At our college, the teachers are really good. They are all very helpful, super qualified, and know their subjects inside out. This makes the teaching quality quite good here. Also, our course curriculum is very relevant, which helps us a lot in becoming ready for the industry.
Placement: For our course, the salary packages were quite good. The highest package was 50 LPA, and on average, students got 9.54 LPA. Around 6154 placements happened, with job offers coming from many areas. These included finance, sales, marketing, consulting, analytics, human resources, and operations.
Campus: Our college had a really good setup for everything. We had a super modern computer lab with more than 50 computers, and all of them were connected to super fast internet through the main computer center. Also, the whole campus was Wi-Fi enabled, which was very helpful. For hot days, the auditorium had air-conditioners. We also had two seminar halls, and both of these came with audio-visual tools and computers. Our college library was quite big too, with over 11,443 books and 152 journals. These books and journals were from both India and other countries, so we could easily find info and references for almost any management topic we needed.

Admission: My admission process at UBS was simple and efficient. The merit list came out on time, counselling sessions were organized, and document verification was handled smoothly with clear staff guidance.
Academic: What I like most about our college is how good the teachers are. All of them have PhDs and are like super experts in their subjects. They make sure to teach us using modern stuff like case studies, PPTs, and even digital labs. The teaching quality is really top-notch, especially for commerce and management topics. Our college has a long history of great teaching and it's still amazing.
Placement: For placements, our college gets many good companies that offer nice salary packages. Big names like Amex, Bacardi, SBI Life, SBI Insurance, SBI AMC, HDFC AMC, Finxera, HDFC Bank, HDFC Life, IndusInd Bank, KPMG, Infosys, and Avery Dennison visit us. The lowest salary package offered was 6.5 LPA, and some students even got more than 15 LPA. We also have companies like Tata AIA, HDFC Bank, Grazitti, Finxera, and Khadi Essentials coming for summer internships.
Campus: In my experience, the college has a pretty good campus and nice hostels. We get Wi-Fi facility here too. Food options are super affordable. Like, inside, the student center offers meals that won't cost you much. And if you want to eat out, there are lots of good spots in Sector 15, right opposite PU campus, where you can get food for really cheap rates. In the hostel mess, a single meal is just 35-40 rupees, and they give unlimited servings.

Admission: Getting into UBS felt reassuring right from the start. The online application was easy to use, interview communication was prompt, and the merit list was released on time. Document verification and fee submission were clearly guided by supportive staff, making the entire process smooth and stress-free.
Academic: All the faculty members here are super helpful whenever we need them. Our teachers know so much, and each one has a special way of teaching in their field. Because of this, as a fintech student, I'm learning a lot of practical stuff about the real world. It really helps me understand how things actually work and what needs to be done.
Placement: Right now, I am doing my MBA here. For placements, some big companies like BNY, Mellon, Blinkit, and Zepto visit our campus. They look for eligible and skilled students. Roughly 25% of students get placed every year. The highest salary package was 10.2 LPA, and the lowest was 3.5 LPA.
Campus: At our college, the computer labs are excellent, and we have really smart lecture rooms too. Overall, the infrastructure here is top-notch. They even give us paid services if we need them. The campus has many different blocks, and each one has its own unique identity and style. This special way our buildings are made really shows the different courses we have and what the college environment is like.

Admission: Throughout my UBS admission journey, guidance from the admission committee was helpful. Queries about interviews and programs were answered promptly, and final joining formalities were handled without confusion.
Academic: The academic side of our college is pretty strong. Our teachers and professors are really qualified, and they even go for special training at IIMs to keep themselves updated and improve their skills. Plus, the syllabus here gets updated often, especially after they talk to industry experts. We also got to attend special guest lectures given by these industry experts, which was really helpful, besides our normal classes.
Placement: Talking about placements, it's pretty solid here. The lowest salary offered was 6 lakhs per year, with the highest touching 33 lakhs, and the average package was 9 lakhs per year. Almost 98% of students got placed through campus drives, but our TPO officer went the extra mile, making sure everyone found a job by the time our course ended. This college gives a very good return on our money. We saw many types of companies coming for recruitment. There were research companies like ZS, big multinational companies like Infosys and Wipro, and finance companies like Religare. Religare and Trident were among the top companies that hired from us. All students got internships with good, well-known companies. Also, around 10% of us got pre-placement offers from the companies where we did our internships. The most common role offered was Business Analyst.
Campus: At our college, we had really good facilities, both in our department and the hostel. There was free Wi-Fi all over the campus, which was super helpful. We also had computer labs, a separate library for our department, and a big university library. Plus, there was this digital library you could use with the campus Wi-Fi, and it had like lakhs of research papers and books. The food was good too. And the best part was getting milk and fresh juices from seasonal fruits all year round.

Admission: After selection, UBS maintained clear communication at every stage. Updates about registration, fee deadlines, and orientation were timely, helping the entire admission process stay organized.
Academic: At our institute, the teachers are very qualified. Each professor has a PhD, and some even have over 30 years of experience, making them quite knowledgeable. Being a government institute, UBS follows the norms for government colleges, so the faculty is good. The course curriculum is super relevant for today's world too. We learned subjects like data analytics and marketing research, which are exactly what's needed right now.
Placement: In our course, almost 97% of students got placed, which is a great number. For the current batch, like 2018-2020, we can't share all placement details yet because the whole process is still going on. But looking at last year, the highest salary package for India was 31 LPA, and TridentGroup offered that. The highest international salary package was 51 LPA. Also, this year, American Express visited our campus for placements.
Campus: For the fees we pay, the college infrastructure is quite good and everything feels well-furnished. We get all the important facilities like Wi-Fi, computer labs, and a good library. The best thing is that our library is open 24 hours a day for students. On campus, you will find 8 hostels for boys and 10 for girls. Getting a hostel room is done based on merit.

Admission: From counselling to final enrolment, securing my seat at UBS felt systematic. The application and fee portals worked well, document scrutiny was smooth, and staff support made onboarding easy.
Academic: What I feel about the course material is that it is quite old. To keep up with what companies need, we students often have to take many online courses. It's also super important to work on many live projects. And using our internship time well is key to learn real things for our careers.
Placement: Placements at our college are really good, better than expected. Our professors actually help students a lot to get placed, though it also comes down to how good the students and their batch are. Most students prefer to choose marketing as their main subject and finance as their minor, because they feel it's the best combination to land a job. For placements, big companies like KPMG and EY from the 'big four' come to our campus. Also, we have regular recruiters like HSBC, Korn Ferry, Infosys, and Wipro visiting us.
Campus: Our campus has a great playground for everyone. For a government institute, the infrastructure here is quite good. Every classroom has a projector and also air conditioning, which is a big plus. The Joshi library is amazing, it has AC and is open all day and night, 24 hours, which is super helpful. Girls hostels are very clean and come with all facilities like a gym, guest rooms, a common room, and a study area.

Admission: The admission process at UBS, Panjab University, was surprisingly smooth. After getting on the merit list, the online counselling and registration were straightforward. Document verification happened efficiently, and the staff were very supportive throughout. Joining felt easy.
Academic: I think the teachers here are really qualified and have a lot of experience. But honestly, for better learning and exposure, they should hire more teachers from outside Punjab. That would help students a lot and even the B-School. About the curriculum, it's pretty good, but a few small changes could make it even better and more relevant to what the industry needs now.
Placement: Our college has really good placements. For the senior batch, almost 85% of students have already gotten placed. The highest salary package was 55 lakhs, and the average package is around 12 lakhs. Top companies like HDFC Bank, HDFC Life, American Express, ICICI, and Tola Ram come to recruit from here. About 50% of students have secured summer internships right now, but more companies are visiting often, so we are hopeful that everyone will get an internship very soon.
Campus: I like about University Business School is that it's a famous B-School. It's part of Punjab University, which everyone knows is one of the top universities in India. Because of that, our campus looks super nice, very well-maintained, and the facilities we get are also amazing. From my experience, the hostel life at Panjab University is super fun. It's truly something you'll remember forever. And the best part is, you get all the facilities you need right inside the hostels.

Admission: Seeing my name on the UBS merit list brought relief. The registration portal was easy to navigate, document verification was organized, and staff support ensured a smooth transition into orientation.
Academic: About the faculty, our teachers here are very qualified and helpful. Each teacher has a doctorate degree in their subject area. But, one problem is that the syllabus is old; it doesn't cover new concepts like business analytics and data analytics. Plus, the teachers still use old ways of teaching us.
Placement: The average package here is around 8-9 Lacs, which is pretty much like what new IIMs offer. But to be honest, the job roles you get at IIMs are generally better than what we see at UBS. When it comes to placements, they are quite decent for students in Marketing and International Business. However, for those doing Finance and HR, the placements are not really up to the mark.
Campus: College has all the things a good business school needs. We have a really green campus and the classrooms are pretty decent. The library is open all the time, 24/7, which is super helpful, and there's a big hall just for our cultural and business events. Even the hostels are good, with all the facilities students look for, like a clean mess for food, a gym, and also sports stuff.
