Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff and the courses are well-organized. They've got great industry experience too. But the downside is that the teachers change a lot each semester, and some end up leaving. It's hard to find permanent teachers here.
Placement: There's no placement cell at this college. Honestly, there aren't many job opportunities in industrial design. Most students find jobs on their own instead of relying on the college. LinkedIn is a great place to search for jobs.
Campus: The hostel has good services and facilities. There are labs for different materials and digital work. The food is decent, better than average for a hostel. The medical services are okay, not great but not terrible. The sports scene here is not very active.

Admission: The teachers are smart and have a lot of experience. They bring in guest speakers from top design schools to share their expertise. They take us on field trips to different places, like showrooms and design events, which gives us hands-on experience. The classes are really helpful and prepare us well for internships.
Placement: There aren't any placements specifically for design students, but they do help us build a great portfolio for internships and jobs. Most students get offers for placements starting at 50,000. The amount depends on how well we do. Students often get to lead design projects. The college doesn't have its own placements, but students usually get stipends ranging from 4,000 to 10,000.
Campus: The college building is really nice and has all the facilities we need in the studios. They have separate studios for different activities, and the hostels are good too. The staff are understanding and the food is good, but a bit pricey. In the hostel, we're not allowed to bring any electric appliances. There are AC and non-AC rooms available, both twin and triple sharing. Girls stay on campus, while boys stay off-campus.

Admission: The faculty here is great because they studied in top Indian colleges. Some teachers have been working for 15 to 20 years in this field, so they know their stuff.
Placement: When it comes to getting a job after college, it's a bit uncertain here. The placement office is on campus, but so far, not many good job offers have come through. We're keeping our fingers crossed for better opportunities in the future. There's always room for improvement, so let's stay positive and hope for the best!
Campus: The college campus is really nice, better than a lot of other colleges. They have big classrooms and workshops to fit all of us. The canteens are big too. Plus, there are basketball and badminton courts for us to use. It's awesome!

Admission: The professors at our college are really helpful and know their stuff. They can guide us, but we also gotta do our own research. Some teachers can be biased, and that can make things tough for students. Just gotta stay on top of things and use the library for resources.
Placement: Designing lifestyle accessories involves working with jewelry, ceramics, leather, and home decor. The teachers at LSA help us understand these materials. Big companies like Titan, Tanishq, and others come for hiring from our college. But it's important to remember that college placements aren't the only way to get a job. Building a great portfolio is key, and the faculty is there to help us with that.
Campus: I really enjoyed the lifestyle accessories design course. We got to work with lots of materials like jewelry, wood, metal, laser-cutting, ceramic, and leather. The workshops were great! Plus, there's a mess and hostel available too, which is super convenient.

Admission: The teachers at college are really smart and always willing to hear our ideas. They're super supportive and easy to reach whenever we have questions. There's about 35 students for each teacher. I got to do an awesome internship at Dutron and Rimtex engineering Pvt. Ltd where I got to see my project become real.
Placement: I'm currently interning for my graduation project at a place suggested by the college, and it's been a fantastic opportunity for hands-on experience. Unlike our seniors who were part of the first batch at UID and didn't have as many options, we now have a placement cell that helps us explore different work opportunities. The placement cell may not focus much on design-specific areas, but they are open to our suggestions which is great.
Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi everywhere and lots of labs and workshops for hands-on learning. The classrooms are big and have plenty of space to work. The food isn't great, and students have been complaining about it for ages.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really smart and know their stuff. They're always available to help out when you need it. You can easily reach them by phone. Sometimes, they bring in experts from outside to teach certain topics. The college also has connections with schools in other countries. We go on a bunch of field trips related to our subjects, like visiting different companies. And there are also cool outings, exhibitions, and stuff like that.
Placement: The seniors before us got great placements. Some got as high as 50,000 while others got around 7,000. Not many companies come to our college because the dean thinks it's discouraging. He wants everyone to have a fair shot based on their skills. The college steps in to connect students with the companies they're interested in. Everyone landed an internship. We have a placement team to guide us in finding the right jobs.
Campus: The college has awesome facilities like a gym, salon, playground, basketball court, temple, hostels, 2 great canteens, a mess, workshops, digital labs, and top-notch classrooms. The food is tasty, and the hostel rooms are well-equipped, even with a shared fridge. Living here is really cool!

Admission: The teachers at our college are friendly and helpful, but they lack knowledge in the design field. They are just average, and we often have to turn to the internet for more current information. The course curriculum doesn't really match up. UID seems more about hype and advertising than actual substance. Maybe it's better to consider NIFT or NID instead. If not, look for a more affordable design school with better job placements than UID.
Placement: I feel like the college is only focused on taking our money. There haven't been any placements yet, so we have to depend on our portfolios. Many students end up applying for internships on their own, and some of them actually get into big companies. It's disappointing when you compare it to other colleges like NIFT and NID. The fees we pay here seem like a waste because of the lack of placement opportunities.
Campus: The college Wi-Fi isn't free, they only give 15 GB a month which is less than what Vodafone and Airtel offer. Labs are always crowded with students. The software they use is old. Hostel conditions are bad, with a Rs. 10,000 increase from last year. Medical help is hard to find within 100 KM, maybe a nearby village has some medicine.

Admission: The teachers in our fashion course are awesome. They really know their stuff when it comes to fashion. They teach us how to create different designs. One of our teachers even has his own fashion line and did a show at FDCI. Every semester, the college takes us to new places to learn about fashion. I got to visit Udaipur, Italy, Paris, and Bhutan.
Placement: The placements at our college are good, but mostly local companies come for hiring. One great thing is that our faculty often gets us opportunities to volunteer at fashion shows and exhibitions with famous designers like Umang, Hutheesing, and Anju Modi.
Campus: The college is awesome! They have everything you need like air-conditioned classrooms, lots of labs, Wi-Fi, and a few canteens with great food and stationery. The canteens are clean, but they're not cool in the summer, so eating can be tough. Thankfully, there are gazebos with fans to help out.

Admission: The courses are designed based on their importance. The faculty is really helpful and knowledgeable. Sometimes we also get guest teachers for different subjects. But I think some courses could be improved by adjusting the number of days they last and making sure they're balanced with the other courses.
Placement: The placements at UID are really good, especially for design students. Last year, the 4th-year students got placed in top companies. About 150 companies came for placements. Some companies came to the college, while others asked students to come for interviews. It's great to know we have good opportunities here.
Campus: The classes have all the stuff we need and they're air conditioned, which is a lifesaver in the summer. The hostels are pretty good too, with nice bathrooms (each room has its own assigned washroom). Our college has a gym, salon, cafeteria, and even a temple. It's all here!

Admission: The professors here really know their stuff and they go above and beyond to help you grow personally. I also like that we have visiting faculty who bring fresh perspectives. They guide us through different materials and connect us to great industry opportunities. It's been a great experience!
Placement: I studied lighting and print design at Olie College in Bangalore. The college didn't help me find a job, but I found one that pays 18,000/- on my own. The college does offer some job options, but I preferred finding my own job.
Campus: The faculty is really supportive and always there to help. They offer great guidance and have awesome workshops that keep getting better. The campus is green and inspires creative ideas. The canteen serves nice food too. It's comforting to know that the campus is always guarded, especially when you need to stay overnight for work.
