Admission: At the time of applying, UVCEs admission process felt streamlined. Online application was easy, merit list declaration was prompt, counselling was organised, and cooperative staff made document verification and registration straightforward.

Academic: Students here get enough free time, which is cool because they can use it to learn coding, join fests, and all that stuff. Semester exams aren't super hard, just don't ignore your subjects. Talking about teachers, some are good in their subjects, but generally, the teaching quality isn't always the best.

Placement: In our college, placements are quite strong for ISE and CSE branches; over 98% of students find jobs. Last year, the highest salary package went up to 40 LPA. Many big companies, including Microsoft and Atlassian, visit our campus for placements. It is important for students to work on their skills throughout their engineering course.

Campus: The hostel rooms here are for 4 students sharing. Talking about WiFi, it is only available in the library and not in the hostel. The food served in the mess is just average, nothing too great, but it's okay for the price you pay. For sports, our college doesn't have any specific facilities. But students can form their own teams and participate in games with other college students.

Admission: After securing good CET scores, my UVCE admission experience felt smooth. Seat allotment updates were timely, document verification reduced stress thanks to helpful staff, and registration was straightforward, making onboarding easy.

Academic: About UVCE is that our teachers are experienced, with most having over 15 years in their subjects. They are also PhD qualified and always very helpful. The course curriculum here is great, always updated to make sure we are ready for jobs. Thanks to the good guidance from our teachers, exams here feel pretty easy.

Placement: The placement scene here is pretty good, with 70-90% of our seniors from the 2024 batch getting jobs. The average salary package they got was 6 LPA. Big companies like Infosys, Wipro, Delta, and SAP Lab were among the top recruiters. For internships, around 20-40% of students managed to get them. The roles usually offered were production management, assistant trainee, and junior assistant.

Campus: Our campus has Wi-Fi everywhere and the internet is pretty good. We also have a old library, like 100 years old, where you can find almost any book you need. All the classrooms come with a projector, which is helpful for studies. In the hostel, facilities are good too, and yes, there's Wi-Fi there as well, plus a water filter for good drinking water. The mess food is generally good in quality and taste. We also have medical and sports facilities for students.

Admission: For my admission, UVCE turned out to be quite straightforward. The online application was easy, the merit list came out on schedule, counselling sessions were well-managed, and staff patiently assisted during document verification. Registration was simple, leading to smooth onboarding.

Academic: Some of our teachers are super good, they know a lot. But then, there are some who aren't that great, they kinda hold grudges and even give more marks to their favorite students. On the other hand, our HOD is a nice person, honestly one of the best people I have ever met.

Placement: In my college, placements are quite good, especially since all the top companies prefer UVCE for hiring. For architecture students, the salary package is usually around Rs. 16,000 to Rs. 30,000 per month. It is a difficult course, which is why our architecture department usually has a low class strength; for example, my class only has 28 students. Also, there are many opportunities after studying architecture, like becoming a landscape architect or an interior designer.

Campus: The main campus here has Wi-Fi, plus a vending machine and a canteen. Labs are good too. And talking about hostels, they are pretty decent. We get proper hygiene and good food there.

Admission: From start to finish, getting admission into UVCE felt smooth. Counselling schedules were clear, staff at document verification were cooperative, and registration steps were well-guided with timely updates.

Academic: To pass any subject, you need to score at least 40 marks, which is quite important here. The syllabus is actually harder compared to the VTU one. Our faculty members are good, but you can't totally depend on them for everything you need to learn. You also have to develop some extra skills on your own because the current syllabus doesn't cover them all. But if you study well, clearing your semester will be easy.

Placement: Our college has good placements, you know. Around 115 companies visit our campus for hiring students. In my branch, like, 75% of us got placed in different companies. The highest salary package someone got was 57 LPA, so it means you have to study well and pick up new skills to get a good job. Overall, the placements here are pretty decent.

Campus: Placements are pretty good at our college, with about 115 companies visiting our campus to hire students. The highest salary package someone got was 57 LPA, so if you study hard and gain new skills, you can definitely get a good job. In my branch, around 75% of us got placed in different companies, which is quite good. When it comes to the college buildings, the infrastructure is a bit old, but the classrooms are always kept well. Hostel facilities are also nice; the food is better compared to other hostels, and the rooms and whole building are well-maintained. Also, the hostel is very close to the college. Overall, I would say the infrastructure is decent here.

Admission: From what I experienced, the UVCE admission process was straightforward. Counselling was clear, document verification went smoothly, though waiting for final registration took a bit of time. Staff were generally helpful and guided us properly at every step.

Academic: From my experience here, the teachers are top-notch. Many of them have PhDs and they know their subjects very well, which is great. About our semester exams, they are pretty well-organized and college rules are strictly followed from the register office. Honestly, the exams are not that difficult if you just get the main concepts clear. You dont need to take too much stress to pass them. The biggest thing is learning all about the latest technology, which is very important now.

Placement: What I've seen is that around 30-50% of students actually get placed from our college. Most of us attend the placement drives, but typically companies only hire 1-2 students from there. The average salary for someone from our college is usually around 3 to 8 lakh rupees every year. Top companies like Insight Technologies and Craft Tech 360 visit for recruitment. When it comes to internships, only about 10% of students manage to get one. Currently, courses like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Machine Design, and Manufacturing Science and Technology are popular and have high demand.

Campus: You know, our college has some good facilities for students. The labs have all the latest tech and computer systems, and we also get free Wi-Fi. Our library is super well-maintained and has lots of space for us to work on our projects. Now, for hostels, only boys' hostels are close to college. If girls want to stay in the hostel, they have to travel around 2-3 km. But good thing is, metro is available, and the nearest metro station is quite close to our college.

Admission: At UVCE, the admission journey felt organised throughout. KCET counselling rounds were well-managed, document verification at campus was fairly quick, and staff guided us patiently through registration. Clear communication about seat allotment and deadlines made the whole process smooth.

Academic: All the faculty here are understanding and always help us out, especially when things are tough for students. They teach every topic in the syllabus very well, making sure nothing is left out. We get good marks too, all based on how we perform in class. Plus, they even give us important questions for exams and help us get placed after college, which is awesome.

Placement: Our college has good placements, almost 90% of students get placed every year. And the good thing is, all of us, like 100% students, get internships too. For salary, the average package is around 8 LPA, but someone even got up to 28 LPA as the highest. Many big companies like IBM, Texas Instruments, Applied Materials, Skyworks, SAP Labs, Quest, Tejas Network, Hyper Works, Extreme Networks, Syncron, Aurigo, and more visit our campus.

Campus: In my experience, evenings at college are nice. Being a government college, they try their best to give us good facilities. The campus area isn't the greatest, but other than that, most things are fine. Our labs are good, and the teachers are also very helpful. The general nature around college is quite pleasant. Classrooms were not that great earlier, but thankfully, they are being renovated now.

Admission: In my case, joining UVCE felt fairly smooth overall. Online registration for counselling was easy after checking the merit list. Document verification took some time, but staff were helpful, and although orientation was brief, the process remained clear and manageable.

Academic: What I think is that our course syllabus is quite old, because they updated it last time in 2020. Also, our teachers are all very qualified with Masters and PhD degrees. But, about teaching quality, it's sometimes good and sometimes not, you see this in most colleges anyway. And the semester-end exams here are a bit tougher compared to other engineering colleges.

Placement: At our college, placements are quite good, especially for CSE and ECE courses, where almost 90-95% of students get placed. My course is part of the CSE department, just like CSE and ISE. More than 160 companies visit us for placements every year. It's normal to see offers of 15-20 LPA. The highest package someone got was 55 LPA, which is great. For software jobs, the average salary is around 7-8 LPA, but for core branches like EEE, Mechanical, and Civil, it's a little less than that. Big companies like Texas Instruments, Juniper Networks, and JPMC come to our college every year.

Campus: Speaking about the facilities here, our college library is quite big and it has a good collection of books, also a good e-library and many journals. But talking about other infrastructure, it's actually one of the weaker points. We have less classrooms, but we manage somehow everyday because teachers and students coordinate well. We do have student Wi-Fi, but it's almost always overloaded so it's not very useful. The hostel building is average, but the food there is very good, and the warden is also chill. We don't have our own mess, but there are 2-3 government messes nearby.

Admission: Overall, my UVCE admission journey felt efficient. From application to final registration, every step was clearly communicated. Counselling rounds were organised, document verification moved quickly with staff support, and orientation gave a helpful overview.

Academic: Our college has one of the best placement rates, seriously high. The teachers here are mostly helpful and they have good qualifications, so their teaching is also good. We follow the VTU syllabus. But honestly, I am not sure if that syllabus makes us ready for jobs in the industry. About exams, we have two internal exams and one main end-semester exam. Those internal tests are pretty easy to pass.

Placement: Our college has pretty good placements. Overall, about 229 companies came for hiring, including big names like Royal Enfield, Tata Technologies, IBM, and Microsoft. For the EEE branch, I heard that 71% of students from the 2020-2024 batch got placed. The highest salary package went up to 15 LPA, and on average, it was between 6-8 LPA for students. Since I'm just a first-year student in the EEE 2024-2028 batch, I don't know much about internships or what different job roles there are.

Campus: Okay, so this college has a pretty good library, which is a plus point. But honestly, if you are thinking of joining, do not keep high hopes for the infrastructure. It is all quite old, and the equipment too. The classrooms also look very old-fashioned. And yeah, there is no playground here at all. For boys, the hostel is actually decent, and the mess food there is good. So, expect older buildings and facilities, but a good library and alright hostel mess for boys.

Admission: Personally, my admission at UVCE went smoother than expected. The merit list was released on time, counselling was well-managed, and document verification was thorough with proper guidance from staff. Registration and orientation were completed without issues, making the start reassuring.

Academic: This college has lots of holidays, and classes get cancelled many times. So, we get more time for other stuff, outside studies. The teachers here are very good and educated. They have so much experience, but sometimes they don't try to finish the syllabus or academic portions.

Placement: At UVCE, placements are pretty good for getting real-life experience. There are lots of chances for all types of students here. For the EEE branch, the placement rate is about 60 to 70%, which is a little bit lower. The highest salary package for EEE students on campus goes up to 14 Lakhs per year. But if you get placed off-campus, it can even reach around 24 LPA. The lowest package is usually 5 to 6 LPA, and the average salary is like 8 to 9 LPA. TCS is a top company that recruits from our college. Also, many students get good internship chances in leading companies, all depending on their skills.

Campus: Our college's infrastructure wasn't so good before, honestly, don't expect much from that time. But since it is turning into an IIT now, they are making a lot of changes and improving everything. The hostel facilities, however, are good and very affordable. They serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food options. Non-veg food comes two times per week, and the rooms in the hostel are also nice.

Admission: During counselling, I found the UVCE staff quite supportive. Seat allotment updates came on time, document verification queries were addressed patiently, and registration was completed quickly, making the journey smooth.

Academic: What I like about the teachers is they try their best to make us understand topics. They give us good examples, sometimes even live ones with diagrams, so it's easy to get. They teach us for both our exams and also for real-life skills. They even prepare us properly for the semester exams, which helps us to score high percentages.

Placement: Bangalore University is quite a central place, many students study here. For our course, almost 80% of students got placed, which is great. Big companies like Wipro, Infosys, and Reliance come for recruitment at our college. The fees can change depending on the course, but it starts around 40,000 rupees per year.

Campus: Our college has lots of good stuff for students, like a nice building structure and plenty of green space around. There is a huge playground where we have many inter-college games and fun fests. Plus, the whole campus has good Wi-Fi, and our classrooms are always kept clean. We also have a great library. For students who need it, hostel facilities are there, and the canteen food is pretty decent.
