Admission: I felt confident during my admission because the university communicated clearly about the application, exam details, merit list, and counselling, while staff support made verification and registration easy.

Academic: From my experience here, the teachers are supportive. They help you out with personal problems or college issues, even after regular college hours. Also, the faculty to student ratio is good. We have semester exams every five months, and honestly, they arent that tough to pass. The college also provides all the study materials on our student ERP, which is basically a website or portal where we can check our attendance and other important things.

Placement: Overall, my experience at this college is quite good. I'm currently doing my Bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering, with a specialization in Information and Technology. The placements for my particular branch are great, and the highest package here even goes up to 1.2 CPA. The college takes care of your placements and also helps a lot with providing internships.

Campus: Our college buildings are good. We have nice classrooms, libraries, and all the stuff that makes studying here better. It feels like you made a good choice coming to this college.

Academic: Regular exams happen on time every four months at our college. We also have many classroom tests each month which count towards our internal marks. For courses, our college offers B.Tech in different specialisations, then there is BCA, M.Tech, MBA, and LAW.

Placement: When it comes to placements, our college is pretty good. The average package here is around six Lacs per annum, so you can expect a good salary from this college. But honestly, you also need to put in your own hard work, like practicing for many interviews and taking part in group discussions.

Campus: In my experience here, the college buildings are good and very spacious, especially the department ones. We have a lot of facilities too. Like, there's a library for each course, and Wi-Fi is always available everywhere. What's cool is that the college even has its own temple. And our seniors are also very nice and super helpful.

Admission: What stood out to me during my admission was how user-friendly the Uttaranchal University application portal was, along with prompt merit list updates, efficient document verification, supportive staff, and an informative orientation session.

Academic: My syllabus gets updated yearly, which is helpful. They make sure the subjects are important for our future jobs and also for getting good placements. Teachers here put most of their effort into teaching core subjects. For the other topics, they expect us to do self-study.

Placement: The college placements are good here, something you should definitely appreciate. Our faculty members help us a lot with getting placed and for interviews. They train us properly for those. Also, they help in building our resume by making us join hackathons and other competitions. This makes sure our resume looks very skilled for jobs.

Campus: Our classrooms are always clean and well-maintained, like, they clean them properly every single day. For BCA, one batch has around 76 students. The Wi-Fi on campus is not that good though, and if you want Wi-Fi in the hostel, they charge way too much money.

Admission: I found the admission journey here quite manageable, starting with an easy online application, followed by smooth counselling, hassle-free document verification, helpful staff interactions, and a clear orientation overview.

Academic: Exams here are not too hard to clear. Our teachers help a lot, giving us question banks and stuff, so studying becomes easy. Most teachers are smart and good at teaching. But yeah, some smart teachers also have a bit of attitude, which is not cool. Talking about the course, the curriculum is just average, honestly, it needs some improvements.

Placement: At Uttaranchal University, for B.Tech CSE, getting good placements means you have to work hard throughout your four years. The placement rate is not very high, so students need to focus on their studies and building up skills. Many known companies visit like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, HCL Technologies, IBM India, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, and Deloitte. These companies mostly look for people for IT services and software roles. Just remember, getting a job with them depends a lot on your own performance, how well you prepare, and the skills you develop during your B.Tech CSE course.

Campus: In our hostel, the mess food is mostly good. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are made well, though dinner could be improved a bit. The canteen food is just average. Overall, the hostel fees are value for money. We get Wi-Fi all the time, 24/7, but sometimes in some areas, the connection is not very stable. They also give us medical facilities. After classes, students like to play cricket and football on the ground. The only bad thing about the hostel is that the warden is quite strict. Coming to studies, our academic buildings have well-kept labs, which are very useful for practical learning. The classrooms are okay, decent but simple.

Placement: Placements at our college were good last year, in 2024, with around 75% of students getting placed. For B.Tech computer science, the average salary package offered is usually around 5 LPA. A lot of companies come, especially looking for students specializing in AI and ML. This is because AI and ML is a very demanding branch right now, so the starting packages for these courses are quite high. My advice is to join more competitions like hackathons or other coding challenges; it increases your chances of getting a good placement.

Campus: Our college has good facilities for students. You don't need to go out of campus at all because everything is here. There's even a marketplace inside the college area. And for any emergency, the medical help is also up to the mark.

Academic: My teachers are truly amazing. They are very helpful and know a lot about their subjects. Also, they are super talented, and you can always ask them your doubts anytime, and they will clear everything.

The average package usually goes around 14 LPA. Top companies like Wipro and Amazon visit for hiring, and many other good companies too. Plus, some students also get internships from big foreign companies, like ACU, in other countries.

Campus: Our institute has excellent infrastructure and nice facilities. The food quality, though, is just okay. Many students are into sports, and it's great because we have a huge ground for playing. The college also organizes lots of competitions, programs, and events often. We have a big library too, where you can easily read, understand, and learn new things, making study enjoyable. Overall, I think this is the best college, providing top-notch facilities across all courses, not just my own.

If you pay attention to the teachers and study properly, then exams are actually quite easy.

Placement: From my course, the highest salary package you can get is between 40 LPA to 50 LPA, and the lowest is 6 LPA to 7 LPA. Around 50 to 60% of students usually get placed. I think about 30 to 40% also get internships. Many big companies like IBM, Amazon, Google, and others come for recruitment. They offer roles such as HR and even CEO entrepreneur.

Campus: At our college, the classrooms are good and always kept very clean. We also have a nice library here that has a lot of books for us. But the biggest problem is the network. My phone network almost never works inside, and even the college Wi-Fi connection is not working properly most of the time, which makes using the internet very difficult. Also, the food available is not that great or tasty.

Academic: The teachers at this college are super nice. They even help if your attendance drops under 75%, which is a big relief. If you keep a good relation with them and behave well in class, you will definitely get good marks in your internal practicals.

Placement: From what I've seen, getting a good placement at Uttarakhand University is possible if you study hard and get good marks every semester. You can also apply for internships with different companies, choosing ones that are good for what you want to do.

Campus: The hostel here is just average, nothing special . One big problem is they have many restrictions, like you can't go out of the hostel after 7 PM. That's a real disadvantage for students. Also, the college has very strict rules about dress code; you always have to wear proper clothes.

Academic: Our teachers are good and their teaching quality is nice. Many faculty members are quite basic and stick to textbooks, but they are also very helpful. You can talk to them about your future plans or if you need guidance for any entrance exam after your college degree.

Placement: The college helps us get ready for jobs. Every month, they have workshops and mock interviews that are super useful for recruitment. Our placement cell works hard, always training us for group discussions, or GDs, and also for those aptitude questions that companies always ask. They make sure we are prepared for everything.

Campus: My college campus is big and they keep it super clean. Classrooms here have proper seating arrangements and projectors are available for presentations, which helps our teachers teach better. Also, some places have a centralized area when it's needed. We have a library too; you just get a library card and can take books from there. No need to buy your own books at all.

Plus, getting internships is pretty easy if you manage good grades in your first year. It's also compulsory to finish at least two major and one minor internship during your studies.

Campus: The college campus here is super big, spread out with lots of space and all the facilities you could ask for. Inside the college, you'll find so many cafeterias and food courts to grab a bite. If you love sports, this place is great because they have tons of sports and game facilities for students. Plus, to keep everyone engaged, the college makes sure to host seminars or different functions at least once every two weeks.
