Vaidik Dental College and Research Centre

Admission: I really like the teachers and the classes at this college. The teachers know a lot and are really good at teaching. The tests are tough, but they help us become good dentists. The classes are hard, but you can definitely handle it.

Placement: When it comes to dentistry, there aren't a lot of job options lined up for you. If you're into corporate dentistry, you're pretty much on your own. On the other hand, clinic dentistry lets you work at someone else's clinic or start your own. You can talk to the faculty to see if you can visit their clinics for experience.

Campus: The campus is nice, but it's not super fancy. The classrooms are cool with AC, making them feel modern. The labs have everything you need for learning. The food in the mess is really good, but there's no proper cafeteria. They have sports facilities, but they could be better.

Admission: I love the professors at this college! They're experts in their fields and really put in the effort to help us succeed. The college is affiliated with Gujarat University, and although the university could improve, our college is doing a great job. The curriculum, patient exposure, and exams are all preparing us well to open our own clinics and work with patients on our own.

Placement: A lot of students don't go for placements after BDS. They prefer to open their clinics or work in other clinics to gain experience. Some go for post-graduation. A few even end up working as staff in the college.

Campus: The facilities like lecture halls, labs, and OPD are good and working fine. They're not super fancy but they get the job done. You can study using slides, do biochemistry experiments, practice on patients, watch professors in action, and more. The washrooms definitely need an upgrade, though. The hostel is near the college and has basic stuff like Wi-Fi, TV, attached bathrooms, games, AC (if that's your thing), and housekeeping. It doesn't have laundry service, but you can manage without it.
