Admission: Most of the faculty members here are quite arrogant and not great at teaching. They don't really help with clearing doubts or have practical knowledge. The course follows the NEP 2020. It's okay, but we need to study from other sources to improve our skills. The exams can be challenging, and the faculty sets them.
Placement: Most students got jobs after graduation, which is awesome. The pay is good, with the average salary being 11 LPA. The top offer was 21 LPA, while the lowest was 5 LPA. Big companies like Google, Oracle, Reliance, and others came for placements. Only a few students got paid internships, while the rest got internships from the college without pay.
Campus: The classrooms are nice with air conditioning and Wi-Fi. The labs have old equipment and need an upgrade. The library is huge with lots of books and Wi-Fi. The hostels are not great, with four students in each room and no proper arrangements. The food in the mess is okay, with non-veg only once a week. The canteen has good food at a reasonable price. There's a sports ground for cricket, football, and basketball, and a gymkhana for other sports.

Admission: The professors here really know their stuff. They've got degrees from top schools. Exams aren't too hard, but you gotta do better than the top student to pass. The course content makes sense overall.
Placement: Seniors say our college has great placements. For CS and IT, the average package is 22 LPA. Across all branches, 80-90% of students get placed with an average package of 13 LPA. The VJTI TPO really helps students find jobs.
Campus: The college's infrastructure isn't great, but they're working on it. They're adding basic stuff to all classrooms and labs. The cafeteria is cheap, but there aren't many medical services available.

Admission: This college is way better than others. The teachers here are really experienced and they really know their stuff. They don't rush through things, but they make sure we understand everything deeply. The assignments are cool and help us practice what we learn in class. Exams are pretty straightforward. We have a mid-semester test for 40 marks, which gets converted to 20, and a final test for 100 marks, which gets converted to 60. The rest of the marks come from assignments. The course material is always up-to-date. The teachers are super nice and always there to help us out. They give us good advice and support when we need it. The syllabus is well-balanced throughout the semester.
Placement: The companies that come to VJTI for placements are top-notch. Big names like Wipro, Vista, L&T, Tata, and others show up every year. Most students manage to land a placement. To be eligible, you need a pointer of 7.5 or above. This way, you can sit for interviews with these companies. Getting placed depends on your average score. They also hook us up with internships at good companies, setting us up for our future jobs. If you score an internship, you can skip attending college in the 3rd year.
Campus: I love this college! The campus is cool and the teachers are great. The atmosphere here is really positive. It's a government college, so they have their own hostel and mess. The hostel fee is only Rs. 12,000 for a year with meals included, which is way cheaper than other hostels in Mumbai. It's a good deal!

Admission: The teachers here are awesome. They're super helpful and really know their stuff. The pass rate is around 80%-85%, so you gotta study for those semester exams. The schedule is tight, so not much time for fun stuff outside of classes.
Placement: Last year, the top package was 16 LPA. Companies like Vedanta, Siemens, Google, Microsoft, and US-based software companies come for placements. Other branches also have good companies visiting for recruitment.
Campus: The campus is alright, but the library rocks! It has everything we need. Plus, there's free Wi-Fi everywhere. The campus is pretty big, with two grounds. Overall, the infrastructure is pretty good.

Admission: The teachers are awesome and really know their stuff. This course sets us up for success in the industry. We have 2 exams each semester: one in the middle and one at the end. Our grades come from tests (20%), mid-term marks (30%), and end-term marks (50%). The passing grade changes sometimes because of how they grade, but usually, it's around 35-40%.
Placement: Last year, most of us in my course got jobs like more than 90%! The highest salary offered was about 20 LPA, with an average of 11.5 LPA. Big companies like Apple, Microsoft, Google, and Nvidia come for placements. And in our college, over 70% of students do internships. The rest go for more studies or start their own businesses.
Campus: My course provides everything we need like Wi-Fi, a library, labs, and air-conditioned classrooms with projectors. There are 2 boys' hostels and 1 girls' hostel, but they're a bit old and cramped. The food in the mess is average, but we get special lunches on Sundays and non-veg on Fridays. The canteen has good food, but it's really small and we sometimes struggle to find a seat. The Enthusiasm committee does a great job promoting sports within the college and between different branches.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful. They give us a good idea of what we're learning. The course keeps us up-to-date with the industry, thanks to the NEP 2020 changes. The semester exams can be challenging, like in any engineering program.
Placement: Around half of the students in my senior batches have already got placed. I'm set to graduate in 2027. We're supposed to do internships in our third year, but no one has started yet. Based on what I've seen, the minimum salary offered last year was $18,000.
Campus: The facilities in my course department include computers for CAD, CAM, lab equipment, benches, fans, and ACs. It's a decent place to study with a good atmosphere. The furniture quality could be improved though. They have plenty of screens and a projector for e-learning too.

Admission: I really like the teachers at VJTI. They really get us and make an effort to connect with us. They offer courses like IKS and CC that help us build character and get ready for the industry. I also appreciate the relative grading system because it takes off some pressure.
Placement: I loved Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute because of the awesome placements. In 2023, tech branches had an average package of around 19.6 Lacs per year, while circuital and other branches were at 11-12 Lacs per year. The overall placement rate was 82%, which is pretty good. The highest package offered was a whopping 57 Lacs per year for tech branches. The big companies like DE SHAW, Amazon, LinkedIn, and KPMG were the top recruiters. It's a great place for landing a good job after graduation!
Campus: VJTI is an old government college that was founded in 1887. The buildings may be a bit old, but they have all the labs and clubs you need. There's this cool Robotics and Automation committee called SRA for students into that stuff. You got 2 big grounds, a volleyball court, a basketball court, and a gymkhana to chill with friends and play games like carrom, TT, and chess. And don't forget about the canteen a great spot to hang out with friends.

Admission: The teachers are nice and try to help, but some don't know the subject well. The syllabus is old, but students do well in the industry because they work hard. The placement rate is good, but some subjects have tough and practical papers. Only a couple of subjects have PhD teachers; the rest aren't qualified. The pass rate is around 40%.
Placement: Most students got placed, but it really depended on what you studied. Salaries ranged from 6 LPA to 36 LPA, with an average of 15 LPA. In my course, only a handful of companies came to recruit. A lot of us ended up in software companies like Texas Instruments. If you were doing B.Tech, you'd mostly find technical roles, but sometimes there were management roles too.
Campus: The course facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are really bad. The hostel, food in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, and sports are all very poor too.

Admission: The teachers all have PhDs from IITs and really know their stuff. The college hours are like working a 9 to 5 job, starting at 8:30 AM and ending at 4:30 PM. The semester exams are pretty challenging, and you need at least 35% to pass.
Placement: The college helps a lot with finding jobs. Last year, most students about 75-80% got jobs on campus. Civil engineers got a top salary of 14 LPA, with an average of 7 LPA. Everyone finds an internship here, some paid and some unpaid. It's great for getting work experience!
Campus: The civil department at our college has great facilities in the classrooms. The lab equipment is accurate, and Wi-Fi works all over campus. Unfortunately, the hostel doesn't have the best infrastructure, but at least the food in the mess is good.

Admission: The electrical engineering department has awesome professors. They're super nice and know their stuff. They explain things really well and make sure we understand all the basics. Electronics engineering is a hot field right now, and learning it at VJTI sets you up for success in the industry.
Placement: I loved my time at Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute. They have awesome placement opportunities and research options. Big companies like Samsung come to hire students from VJTI. Almost all electronics students got placed, which is super cool. The average salary is around 13 LPA.
Campus: The electrical engineering department at Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute has lots of labs for research. The classrooms have everything you need like Wi-Fi, projectors, and smart screens. The mess food is pretty good, and the hostel fee is not too expensive.
