Admission: I learned a lot about managing things like money, projects, and businesses. We had to write a big report in our last year. The college is really good at teaching analytics, but not many students choose finance classes.
Placement: The job placements here are pretty good. They offer lots of jobs in different areas. The average salary is about 17 LPA, and most students get around 16 LPA. A lot of students end up in consulting and analytics. The courses are made to help students get these kinds of job offers. The college has had a 100% placement rate for 4 years now. They've even brought in some big companies like ITC, Amazon, Akzo Nobel, Jio Saavn, Dell, and RBI.
Campus: I loved all the activities at college like swimming and working out in the gym. The gym had all the cool machines. We also had a nice seminar hall. The hostel was great too. The rooms were airy and we had water and power all day. The hostel had a really nice vibe, which made it easy to settle in.

Admission: I really liked the faculty at this college. They all had real-world experience before teaching, which made classes more interesting. They used case studies and real examples to help us learn. Sometimes, we even had guest professors come in to teach us.
Placement: The college has great placement opportunities for both final and summer placements. Lots of companies come for placements in different sectors like manufacturing, consulting, finance, and FMCG. The placement cell helps out a lot and they do a good job. Big companies like ITC, P&G, Nomura, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, and Citi come to hire students from the campus.
Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi in classrooms, a big library, and lots of sports facilities. The hostel and mess were okay. The infrastructure overall was really good and worth the money. The return on investment was great because the fees were low.

Admission: The teachers are pretty good they know their stuff and are easy to talk to. The course plan is great! You'll have plenty of time, unlike other MBA programs. You can join events without slacking on your studies. Overall, a solid curriculum.
Placement: Our batch had awesome placement results with everyone getting a job. We all got good offers, mostly above 8 LPA. The highest offer was around 22 LPA, lowest was around 8 LPA, and the average was 12 LPA. Our batch was small, only 102 students. Internships were paid, too, for all of us.
Campus: The campus is awesome with lots of trees and nature all around. There's a classroom for seniors and another one for juniors. The building and conference rooms are nice, but the canteen needs some improvement because the food isn't that great.

Admission: The teachers at VGSoM are a mix of really experienced academics and people who've worked in industry. Some of them even teach at IIMs. They use a bunch of different methods to teach us, like lectures, group work, case studies, and research projects. The student-teacher ratio is around 10:1.
Placement: I was in my senior year, and I gotta say, the job placements were awesome! Everyone got placed, which was a huge relief. If you want the specifics, you can check out the placement report on VGSoM's website. The team in charge works super hard to make sure we all land good jobs, and it really shows.
Campus: I really like the IIT Kharagpur campus! It's super big, covering 2100 acres. The library here is Asia's biggest, and they have cool stuff like a gym, Wi-Fi, and lots of sports facilities. There are also multiple auditoriums, an outdoor theater, and places like CCD and Subway. Plus, there are 22 hostels, each with its own mess and canteen. It's a great place to be!

Admission: The professors really know their stuff and have tons of experience in teaching and working in the real world. The course is set up perfectly for what's needed in the industry right now.
Placement: In my batch, most students landed a summer internship around 85%. And for the seniors, everyone got placed in the end. The highest pay for internships was 165k INR, average was 90k, and the lowest was 60k. For final jobs, the highest salary was 20lpa, average was 13lpa, and the lowest was 9lpa. Lots of big companies like Google, Amazon, and Cognizant came to campus for placements. There were over 30 companies altogether. They offered roles like Strategic Consultant, Product Manager, and HR Consultant. The options were pretty diverse!
Campus: The Vinod Gupta School of Management is separate from the main college buildings at IIT Kharagpur. They teach HR topics in collaboration with the Department of Humanities and Social Science. The campus has Wi-Fi everywhere and great lab facilities in Lab Complex 1, 2, and 3. There's also a separate building called Nalanda for classes with up to 120 students. The B.C. Roy Hospital provides 24/7 emergency care and ambulance services. The boys stay at MMM Hall of Residence, while the girls stay at Gokhale Hall of Residence. The rooms are always clean, and the hostel food is healthy and nutritious.

Admission: The program lasts two years with four semesters. The first year focuses on core courses, while the second year covers electives. There's a summer internship after the first year. The faculty mostly come from IIT Kharagpur and they really help us understand the technical side of things.
Placement: In the 2019 - 2021 session, 116 students got placed. Lots of companies, like 72 of them, came for placements. The highest salary was 26.5 LPA, and the average salary was 18.44 LPA. They hired students for jobs in consulting, operations, analytics. Big companies like Amazon, Accenture, and Wipro hired students too.
Campus: The campus at VGSoM is known as one of the best in West Bengal. They have everything you need there: a bank, computers, labs, and a huge library. The hostel fee is super cheap at just Rs 15,000 a year, which covers both the room and the food. The services are top-notch and always on time. You share a room with someone else, and there's a bathroom in each room with all the essentials. They also have separate facilities for guys and girls to keep things private.

Admission: The teachers for our course are super friendly and nice. They're really good at teaching. The college staff and teachers are also super helpful and supportive. We mostly do curriculum activities at the beginning of the semester.
Placement: Around half of us in my course got placed, which was pretty good. The pay ranged from 3.5 to 8 lacs, with most landing around 6 lacs. Capgemini, Wipro, and Infosys were the big names that hired students. And a lot of us also scored internships in different companies.
Campus: The facilities at my college are really good. The classrooms and labs are clean and well-kept. We've got a great library too. But the hostel rooms aren't that comfy. The food in the mess and canteen isn't very tasty or clean.

Admission: The teachers know their stuff and use lots of real-life examples. There's about 8 students for every teacher. The visiting teachers are cool. But since it's IIT, the focus is more on research. We don't really get to see much of the industry side. And there's no chance for studying abroad yet. But hey, they're starting to plan some foreign trips soon.
Placement: The college placements are awesome! They had high salary packages like 28 LPA and even 9 LPA. On average, it was around 13.5 LPA. For marketing, companies like Titan and PWC come for placements. And for operations, we had companies like Lion Azure Power and ITC. Also, analytics firms like Tiger Analytics and Texas Instruments visited for recruitment.
Campus: The college has good infrastructure with auditoriums and rooms for MBA students. It's like an IIT campus with everything we need here. We've got Bloomberg terminals, software labs, and computer labs. They're even opening an international department soon. MBA students don't have separate hostels, but that's cool because we get to live with M.Tech and B.Tech students. It helps create a friendly vibe on campus.

Admission: The teachers at our college are awesome! They are all PhD graduates and really know their stuff. They help us with live projects and encourage us to think outside the box. Their experience brings a lot of valuable knowledge to the table.
Placement: Around 65% of us got jobs after graduating. The highest salary was 5.6 LPA, while the lowest was Rs. 90,000 per year. Goodyear hired the most students. Many of us also did internships at Goodyear and Nestle, mostly in marketing and sales.
Campus: The college buildings weren't the best, but the canteen had good food. Everything was clean and the Wi-Fi worked well. The hostel was nice too. The medical services were good, and sports were fun. They even had a sports meet every year.

Admission: The course curriculum is a bit old-fashioned, but that's pretty common in other colleges too. They're actually updating the whole curriculum to be more practical and industry-focused, starting with the 2019 batch. The teachers are alright.
Placement: The placements at our college are awesome! We have the best return on investment compared to other schools. No matter what field you're interested in, you can find a job here. They offer roles in consulting, IT, sales, operations, marketing, and supply chain management. Some of the jobs available are in business development, product development, and financial analysis.
Campus: The facilities at VGSOM are outdated. They do maintenance regularly, but it's time for a major upgrade. The classrooms need a refresh, and we could really use a new seminar or auditorium for our daily activities.
