Admission: Going through WBMCC counselling for WBUHS felt straightforward. Merit list publication was timely, document verification was well-organized, staff at registration were supportive, and communication about orientation made joining smooth.

Academic: From my experience, our teachers are very friendly and always clear our doubts. They are also super knowledgeable and have good qualifications. Their classes are interactive, which is nice. They even help out a lot in practical sessions. And in SDP classes, they make sure to explain all the clinical cases properly.

Placement: For our internship, we get paid around Rs. 30,000 each month, and this amount includes our mess charges. The internship itself runs for 12 months. During this time, we get rotated to different departments, both clinical and paraclinical ones. There's a good chance to learn a lot from the many kinds of patients who visit the various OPDs in each department.

Campus: The hostels at our college are pretty good and have all you need. You will find beds, tables, chairs, and almirahs in the rooms. Plus, the campus itself is big and has very good infrastructure. Inside the bathrooms, there is always 24-hour hot water from the geyser, and a water purifier too. For rooms, you can choose single, double, or triple beds, either with AC or non-AC.

Admission: During state counselling for WBUHS, the process involved detailed online registration. Merit list clarity was acceptable though timelines felt stretched, but final document verification on campus was thorough and well-handled by staff.

Academic: The exams here are not too tough, they are manageable, and usually more than 85% students pass which is good. Our teachers are quite experienced and qualified, always ready to help us. They teach us in an interactive way, using clinics and also digital things to explain stuff. The course curriculum is set by NMC guidelines, so we get skill labs, AETCOM, and integrated teaching. This makes sure we learn things that are actually useful in the hospital.

Placement: In my experience with internships here, almost all students, like 100%, get a compulsory one-year paid internship. This happens mainly in our college hospital itself, and they pay us quite well, around 20,000 to 25,000 rupees every month. For placements, the highest package someone got was 8 LPA, the lowest was 2.5 LPA, and the average package is around 4 LPA. Top places that hire from us include our own IQ City Medical College Hospital, Narayana Health, and also big private hospitals like Apollo and Fortis.

Campus: In our college, the facilities are pretty good. The hostels are quite spacious and they come with Wi-Fi, common rooms, and a gym for students. Also, boys and girls have separate mess areas for food, which is just average in taste but always hygienic. When it comes to studies, we have modern air-conditioned lecture halls and digital smart classrooms. There is a big central library too, where you can access online journals. All the labs are well-equipped, especially the skill labs for clinical training. For emergencies, medical facilities and an ambulance are always available on campus. And for fun, we have sports grounds for cricket, football, and volleyball, plus some indoor games to enjoy.

Academic: Our teachers at North Bengal Medical College are mostly experienced and have good medical knowledge, that's for sure. A lot of them are super helpful and explain things well. But honestly, some teachers can be strict and don't talk much with students. You know, teaching quality depends on the department. Some departments teach awesome, while others just rush to finish the syllabus.

Placement: Okay, so I finished my MBBS from North Bengal Medical College, I was from the 2019 batch. For MBBS, it's not like other courses where you have 'placements'. But after our final year, everyone has to do a one-year internship in a hospital, and yeah, 100% of students get that. How much you earn later depends on if you get a government job or a private one after your MBBS. Mostly, students either go for a PG degree or try for government jobs. As a new doctor, the average salary was usually around 60,000 to 80,000 rupees every month.

Campus: At North Bengal Medical College, the buildings are old but still fine to use. The labs are okay; they have all the basic instruments we need for practicals. Classrooms are quite big, though they arent very modern. Some rooms have projectors, but not all of them do. Wi-Fi is available, but it's not always reliable in every corner of the campus. Our library is decent; it has a good collection of medical books and enough space for studying.

Admission: During my admission at WBUHS, the process went smoothly. The online registration portal was easy to use, counselling schedules were communicated clearly, document verification was organized, and staff support made provisional admission efficient. Orientation helped clarify the next steps.

Academic: What I like about our college is how good the teachers are. They are all qualified and know a lot. Many of them are actual doctors who have achieved so many degrees and awards, which shows their knowledge. They are super helpful too and treat us just like friends, which makes learning easy. Even the HODs are very expert in their fields. These teachers are like good guides for us, and they're also great doctors themselves.

Placement: In my experience, getting a good job after this college is easy. Many students easily get RMO, HMO, MO, and GPMO jobs. Almost all students also become PGT trainers at government colleges. Our seniors, the alumni, have even cured many chronic and acute diseases with the skills they learned here. I can say almost 90% of students reach a good standard because of this.

Campus: Our college has all the departments, like anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, organon, and materia medica. They are even planning to start PG courses soon, maybe in a few years. We get free Wi-Fi here, and the library is well-maintained. Each department has its own separate labs for practicals, and the lab assistants are super knowledgeable.

Admission: From counselling to final joining, my experience with West Bengal University of Health Sciences felt well-organized. Verification staff guided document submission clearly, and communication around merit list updates and registration dates remained consistent throughout.

Academic: Our teachers are knowledgeable and super helpful. If we ever have any problem, they are always there to assist us. We also get good lab classes. The mentors and teachers here are always available for students, they are very gentle, and basically always on standby whenever we need their help.

Placement: For sure, this is a top nursing college in West Bengal. They promise 100% placements here, which is great. Students who study B.Sc. can get a good package, around 8.84 LPA. Many big hospitals recruit from our college like Apollo Hospital, Tata Medical camp, Manorama Hospital, BP Poddar, Spandan, and Kalyani General Hospital. Plus, you can also get posts as a Clinical Instructor.

Campus: My time at the hostel has been great because of the very friendly atmosphere, and Warden Ma'am is just amazing. They give us food four times a day, even though the quality is just average. For any medical issues, there's a hospital close. It's only 10 minutes from our hostel, and the name is JNM Hospital, in Kalyani.

Admission: While preparing for WBUHS counselling, the clearly shared dates helped a lot. Document verification was detailed but systematic, staff at registration were supportive, provisional admission went smoothly, and merit list updates came promptly.

Academic: Our teachers are quite knowledgeable and super helpful in their subjects. Their teaching style is key, especially for a professional course like nursing. Most of them have postgraduate degrees in nursing and allied health sciences, so they are well qualified. The semester exams are not too hard, they are just moderate.

Placement: The course here is pretty tough, but it's good because it mixes classroom studies with real-life practice in clinics and hospitals. Our college makes sure we get both theoretical stuff and hands-on experience in healthcare services. The best salary someone got was around 4.5 to 5 lakhs per year.

Campus: For students doing B.Sc. nursing at IINR, the facilities and infra are good and helpful. We get Wi-Fi all over the campus, which is super useful for checking online study materials and journals. Also, our classrooms are quite spacious, and they have whiteboards and projectors for teaching.

Admission: Looking back, my admission at WBUHS felt fairly organized. The rank-based process for different quotas was clear, counselling dates changed slightly, but document verification was thorough and staff support helped with final steps.

Academic: The course curriculum here is very relevant and helps students get ready for jobs in the industry. Our teachers are also super knowledgeable and have lots of experience. They are helpful, not only teaching us well but also guiding us if we have any questions. Before exams, they even take special revision classes to make sure we feel confident.

Placement: For admission here, it mostly depends on your rank. You can get into the government quota or even the management quota, and both usually come with lower fees. The best part is that after you clear your final exams, every student gets a chance to do an internship. Once your internship is done, you are free to join any college or hospital you want. Also, if you plan to study more, there is an option to go for higher studies and take another examination. During the internship, you get a stipend of about Rs. 25,000 per month.

Campus: Talking about college facilities, our infrastructure is great. We have fully air-conditioned lecture theatres with projectors for PPT presentations, and more new ones are coming up for better interactive study. For studying, there's a library where students can sit quietly, plus an external reading room that's separate from the main library, and sometimes MBBS students also use it. For fun, we have chess and carrom boards. Plus, there is a very big field for playing football and cricket, and we also have courts for basketball and volleyball.

Admission: When I went through the admission process at WBUHS, everything felt quite straightforward. Academic: Labs in this college were just amazing. They had all the right machines and stuff, which made it easy for students to learn things. About the teachers, some departments had good ones, but in other departments, they were not so good, sometimes even a bit strict. But mostly, it was a good place for students.

Placement: So, talking about placements, they were generally good here. But not everyone got their preferred companies or roles. It seemed like students who were closer to the management got the better opportunities. Apart from that, the salary package was good. I actually left my job later because it was located too far away. That bond penalty for 5 LPA was an issue though.

Campus: In my opinion, this college is the best in West Bengal. The hostel facilities are quite good here. Students get single rooms which is nice, and because of this, everyone gets to bond and become friends easily. The hostels are always kept clean. But on the other hand, the mess food is just awful, a total mess. So, it is much better to eat food from outside instead of eating in the mess.

Admission: From my experience, admission at WBUHS for MBBS was demanding due to the need for a top NEET UG rank and tough counselling rounds. Document verification was managed efficiently by staff. Communication about deadlines could have been better, but overall the process felt systematic.

Academic: The teachers here are good, actually much better than faculty at other colleges in West Bengal. The study vibe and environment here helps us learn a lot and affects our studies in a very positive way. Because of our awesome faculty, the strong curriculum, and the way exams are conducted for MBBS, a lot of students get good NEET PG results from this institution.

Placement: This college is a government medical college, so the placements here are good. For MBBS, it's 4.5 years of study, plus one year of internship which everyone has to do. Plus, there's a good opportunity to do MS or MD too, and that department also has a very good system and is well set up.

Campus: Getting into this college for MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) is a big deal, like, many students dream about this course and work super hard for it. To get in here, you seriously need to crack the NEET UG exam and secure a good rank. A cool thing is that you actually get to experience the main college campus facilities after your first year, which is pretty great.

Academic: The MBBS course at our college is handled by WBUHS, with 150 students in one go. Our teachers are super experienced, with professors, associate professors, and even tutors for all departments. They make sure we learn both the book stuff and how to do things practically. The whole study plan is according to NMC (MCI) guidelines. We begin with a foundation course, then move to different phases like preclinical, paraclinical, and clinical. They teach us using horizontal and vertical integration, plus AETCOM modules and skill labs are there. We also have elective exams. Every semester, there are internal tests, both written and practical. The big final professional exams are done by West Bengal University of Health Sciences, and these include viva, OSPE/OSCE, and logbook checks.

Placement: Talking about jobs and stuff, it's not like engineering colleges with campus placements here. But every student, like 100% of us, gets an internship in a hospital. They pay a good amount too, around Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000 each month. After finishing MBBS, most of us either become junior doctors or work as tutors. Many also prepare for higher studies like PG, meaning MD or MS. The starting salary is usually between 3 to 5 Lakhs per year. Some even get 6 to 8 Lakhs per year if they join a private hospital. How much your career grows depends on clearing the PG entrance exam and doing more specialization.

Campus: Talking about IQ City Medical College & Hospital in Durgapur, our campus is modern and big, like 100 acres. It has different buildings for studying, the hospital, and hostels. Inside, we have air-conditioned lecture halls and demo rooms. The central library is good with lots of online stuff too. All the labs are properly set up, even skill labs for our practicals. The hospital connected to our college is huge, with more than 800 beds, and many patients come daily. This helps us learn a lot. For students, there are separate hostels for boys and girls, both having Wi-Fi, a mess for food, a gym, and sports facilities. Plus, on campus, you will find an auditorium, a cafeteria, a bank with ATM, and a medical shop. Our classrooms are smart, using digital boards, and security is there 24/7.
