IIEBM was established in 2000 by Col. Vinod Marwaha (Bombay sappers) who is a visionary, businessman, and philanthropist and Shrimant Vijaysinh Naik Nimbalkar Alias Shivajiraje, scion of the Phaltan, District Satara ruling dynasty.

The Royal Family was the state's educational provider in Phaltan prior to the merger. Shrimant Mudhojirao Naik Nimbalkar opened his first school in 1893 which is known as the monarch of Phaltan State. The employees of the state of Phaltan were brought into the Government with the union of the former princely states with the main government. As a result, the Phaltan Education Society was founded and on April 27, 1953, it was officially registered under the Bombay Public Trusts Act 1950.
