NTA conducts the CMAT entrance examination in an online computer-based test mode at respective centres. Candidates are asked a total of 100 multiple-choice questions across five sections.

The weightage of every question is +4 marks, and there will be a -1 mark deduction per incorrect attempt. The medium of the question paper is in English only, and the exam is conducted for a total of 3 hours allotted time. CMAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• The exam is limited to candidates who reside in India. No foreign nationals or NRI students are allowed to appear in the test.

CMAT 2025 Application Process

The CMAT registration process is online and is carried out at the portal, i.e., exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT. Students need to first register by providing their name, gender, date of birth, identity type, and phone number, along with the names of their guardians. In addition, candidates must set a secure password and respond to a security question. The application number and password that are generated once the registration process is finished must be used by applicants. CMAT 2025 Answer Key

CMAT  2025 Final answer key has been released on February 14, 2025. NTA released the provisional answer key on January 31st, 2025. The challenge window was open till February 2, 2025. The fee for the CMAT answer key challenge was INR 200 for each question. As per the final answer, 3 questions had two options in Phase I, and in Phase II nearly 5 questions had 2 options.

CMAT 2025 Cut-Off

NTA does not release any separate cut-off marks after the release of CMAT results or scorecards. CMAT 2025 cut-off will be released only after the participating institutes/ universities declare results. For top colleges like JBIS Mumbai, Goa Institute of Management, etc., the cut off percentile can be from 98 to 99 percentile. Likewise, in colleges like IFMR and PUMBA, the cut-off percentile can vary from 90-95.

CMAT 2025 Counselling

CMAT does not have a common counseling process. As the CMAT 2025 results are out now, candidates can expect to begin the counseling process around March 2025. The CMAT admission process mainly includes Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds, conducted by B-Schools separately. The institutes select candidates based on their CMAT scores and invite them for GD/PI. Candidates who want to pursue an MBA in 2025 must register for CMAT 2025.
