Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Placement Cell delivers most satisfactory and excellent services to its students. The Placement Cell is solely responsible for conducting placement drives, invite companies and more. For recruiters, JNU Placement Cell has a different placement procedure than that for students. For the former, the Placement Procedure includes step-by-step process of Pre-placement talks, written test, GDs, and PI rounds. Only shortlisted students will be offered with their job offer letter by their desired company. Most importantly, those selected candidates must join the company as per the date mentioned in their offer letters.
JNU Placement Procedure
The JNU Placement Office cordially invites all recruiting companies and organizations interested in campus recruitment. The procedures for JNU in-campus recruitment are outlined below:
- Companies/Organizations looking to recruit students should contact placement@jnu.ac.in. The email should include information about the company/organization, the nature of the job, and the qualities required for the position.
- Companies/organizations are obliged to complete an obligatory Job Notification Form (JNF).
- Once the JNU Placement Cell gets the entire JNF with all required details, the company will be automatically registered with the JNU Placement Cell, and employment details will be communicated with students by the JNU Placement Office.
- Based on mutual agreement, the placement office will inform the company/organization of the number of interested students and probable dates for campus recruiting.
- Following the completion of the selection process, the company/organization must announce the names of the selected candidates.
Note: Interested companies/organizations may do a pre-placement talk on campus with prior approval.
