Scholarship 1. Karnataka students from Scheduled Castes and Tribes can apply for Government of India Post-Metric Scholarships. SC/ST candidates (allotted to affiliated Government Colleges) in Karnataka whose parents' yearly income is less than or equal to Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rupees Two Lakh Fifty Thousand Only) are eligible to get Day Scholarships/Hostel Scholarships from the Social Welfare Department. Candidates who, after completing one stage of education, continue to study in the same stage in different subjects* will be ineligible. Students who complete their educational career in one professional line, such as L.L.B. after B.T./B.Ed., will be ineligible.
