BA Hons History is an undergraduate course that aims to provide students with historical knowledge of the past, both at the Indian and world fronts. It addresses key historical events in the history of ancient civilizations up to modern times, teaching critical thinking,an analytical approach and a better understanding of cultural, political, and economic changes. BA Hons History is academic as well as socially applicable because it involves research methodologies, heritage studies, and emerging themes such as gender, diaspora, and regional histories.

 

The curriculum is designed over a number of semesters and comprises a combination of core historical lessons, electives, skill development courses, and practical learning aspects, including internships and projects.
