BHU started registration on 22nd May. This year, around 191 institutions, including DAVV, are participating in the counselling process. Through CUET PG, DAVV is offering 40 PG programmes across 1400 seats. Candidates who appeared in CUET PG 2025 must remember that NTA does not administer the counselling process.
CUET PG 2025 Counselling is a multi-step process. It includes stages, i.e., online registration, choice filling, document verification, and seat allotment. More than 190 universities are participating in the CUET PG Counselling Process for the academic session 2025-2026. The list includes 41 Central Universities, 41 State Government Universities, 15 Government Institutions, and 94 Private and Deemed Universities. Some Central Universities like DU, BHU, JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University) have already started the counselling registration process, and even the last dates of registration draw near for some Universities. CUET PG 2025 Counselling Process
Most of the participating universities started registration for CUET PG Counselling based on the final candidate data from NTA. Candidates interested in securing their spots should visit the official websites of their preferred universities and register. Here are some key points to remember by candidates during registration for CUET PG Counselling across universities.
- Candidates must check notifications regarding CUET PG Admissions for the academic year 2025-2026 on the official websites of respective universities.
- The participating universities consist of a separate set of instructions for registration, including registration fees (category-wise), courses offered, start and end dates of registrations, and merit list announcement dates.
- During registration, candidates must enter the CUET PG Application Number according to the Scorecard, including date of birth. Some universities may ask candidates to do CAPTCHA verification for security purposes.
- Following registration, each university will release a merit list for the first round of counselling and will invite the candidates ranked in the merit list for admission.

Each participating university conducts the CUET PG counselling process separately, as no centralised counselling exists. After the declaration of CUET PG results on 6th May, 2025, universities have initiated their respective admission procedures. For instance, the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) has commenced online registration on 21 May 2025, and the first cut-off list is scheduled to be released on 11thJune 2025. JNU also initiated its CUET PG Registration process on 23rd May, 2025; its first merit list will be published on 27th June, 2025. DU PG Admission 2025
DU started the CUET PG Counselling Registration from 16th May, 2025, and will continue till 6th June, 2025. Shortlisted candidates can enroll in the MA, MSc, MTech, and MPD programs under DU. Below are some key points about DU PG Admission 2025.
- Candidates must log in through DU'sofficialCommonSeatAllocation System (CSAS) portal during registration.
- The application fee for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates is INR 250, and for SC/ST/PwBD candidates, it is INR 100.
- Candidates applying for the Sports supernumerary quota must pay INR 100 extra.
- Applying for practical-based programs, candidates have to pay an additional INR 400.
- Following registration, candidates need to proceed with preference filling and program selection.
- The merit list will be announced after 6th June, 2025.
- Following this, qualified candidates should adhere to the seat allocation rules and book spots in desired courses by providing admission fees.
- Then, candidates must upgrade/freeze.
- Spot Admission will take place.
- Tie-breaking rules will occur when two or more candidates have the same scores.

JNU PG Admission 2025
CUET Candidates willing to pursue PG courses in JNU can fill out the counselling registration form by 16th June 2025. Aspirants can opt for MA, MSc, MCA, MPH, MTech (except Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering), PG Diploma, and Advanced Diploma of Proficiency (ADOP) programs. Students can be admitted after the merit list declaration. First, second, and third merit lists will be announced on 27th June, 2025; 5th July, 2025, and 14th July, 2025, respectively. Some important points on JNU PG Admission are as follows:
- For online registration, applicants must log in to the official website of JNU (https://jnuee.jnu.ac.in/) using their NTA Application Number and Date of Birth.
- Before registration, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for each program separately, as set by JNU.
- Following this, merit lists will be released in three rounds.
- Selected candidates can pay fees and book seats.
- Students must attend the physical verification of admission.
- At the time of admission, students need to produce the CUET 2025 scorecard, eight copies of their photograph, self-attested marksheets and caste certificates for reserved category candidates.
- Following this, online payments will be initiated.

BHU PG Admission 2025
Important notice for PG Admission in BHU has been released, and students can fill the registration form until 10th June, 2025. Before filling out the registration form, candidates are advised to read the BHU Combined Allotment Program for Post-Graduation Courses. The key points are as follows:
- Candidates must have studied the subject at the graduation level for which they are applying for PG Programs in BHU.
- CGPA should be converted into a percentage.
- Candidate's Date of Birth, Gender, and Category claim should match the CUET Exam details.
- Scanned copies of 10th Marksheet, 12th Marksheet, UG Marksheets (All semester marksheet), and Birth Certificate are required at the time of registration.
- The registration fee is non-refundable.
- Registration should be conducted with desktops and laptops only for a hassle-free experience.

CUET PG 2025 Counselling: Choice Filling
Choice filling is also known as locking, followed by successful document verification. In this phase, candidates can fill in their preferred colleges and courses during registration. This step is very crucial as it determines the seat allotment of candidates. Due to this, students must be cautious since once the choice filing window closes, no further changes about courses and colleges can be made.
CUET PG 2025 Counselling: Seat Allotment
CUET PG 2025 Seat Allotment list (TISS, DU, BHU, and JNU) will be published soon. On 19th May,Nehru Gram Bharati University released the 1st seat allotment list. After releasing the seat allotment list, shortlisted candidates must verify their documents. The seat allotment process consists of several steps: release of the rank list, registration, document verification, and fee payment. Once the seat allotment list is published, the qualified candidates can proceed with the fee payment and seat booking in the desired colleges. Shortlisted candidates can follow the steps below to participate in the seat allotment process:
- Acceptance of the seat and fee payment is required to confirm their admission.
- Reporting at the allotted institutions within the given timeframe.

CUET PG 2025 Counselling: Spot booking
The spot booking round provides admission opportunities to those candidates who did not get a seat in the regular counselling. This generally occurs at the end of the third round of the counselling process to fill vacant seats. For example, JNU is expected to issue a final call for spot booking on 8th August, 2025, whereas DU may issue the vacant seats in the last week of July. But, it is not scheduled yet. This step requires in-person verification of the candidates in the universities/colleges and centres. However, candidates must refer to the official universities' websites to get the latest updates on the seat booking dates.
