CUET PG Results 2025: Tie-Breaking Policy
If two or more candidates secure the same total marks in the CUET PG 2025 exam, NTA will apply the following tie-break rules:
- The candidate who scores higher marks in Part B (subject-specific section) will be ranked higher.
- If the tie remains, the candidate with higher marks in Part A (general section) will be ranked higher.
- If the tie persists even after comparing both sections, both candidates will be awarded the same rank.
- During the admission process, if a tie still affects seat allocation, preference will be given to the older candidate (by date of birth).
