CUET UG 2025: As per the official information bulletin, CUET UG 2025 exam will take place between May 8 to June 1, 2025. However, CUET Datesheet 2025 has not been released yet. Subject-wise details CUET UG Exam Schedule 2025 will be out at cuet.nta.nic.in. NTA is going to administer CUET 2025 exams in CBT mode. As per the marking scheme, candidates will be given +5 marks. There is negative marking for wrong answers. Common University Entrance Test offers a single window opportunity for candidates who want to pursue their career in various UG courses.

 

CUET UG 2025 correction window closed on March 28, 2025. CUET 2025 Registration  indow closed at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/ or cuetug.ntaonline.in on March 24, 2025.

 

Earlier, UGC announced CUET 2025 changes, including deletion of CUET UG subjects, change of mode of examination, subject choice uniformity of duration, and no. of questions. The number of subjects covered by CUET exam has been reduced to 37 (13 languages, 23 CUET domain subjects, and a general test) from 63. Deleted subjects include 20 foreign languages and six domain subjects (Entrepreneurship, Teaching Aptitude, Fashion Studies, Tourism, Legal Studies, Engineering Graphics).

CUET 2025 Highlights

The Common University Entrance Test, usually abbreviated as CUET UG, is the national-level entrance examination conducted by the NTA for undergraduate admission in participating colleges. First presented in 2022, CUET is now an important stepping stone for many students who intend to get a seat in undergraduate programmes in the finest colleges and universities of India. This annual exam is conducted in over 500 centres, both in India and abroad, in a computer-based format. The exam is conducted in phases based on the number of registered candidates. There are only two weeks left before the exams. NTA has still not released the the CUET 2025 UG Date Sheet. Over a lakh aspirants are eagerly looking for the answers about what’s causing the delay in the release of the CUET UG Date Sheet 2025. As per various media resources, due to NEET 2025 preparation, NTA is delaying the release of CUET UG Datesheet.

 

Since CUET UG  2025 and NEET 2025 are happening around the same time, it has become difficult to finalise the CUET UG Exam Schedule 2025. Sources say that CUET UG 2025 might not start on May 8 due to shared logistics and exam centers as originally planned.

CUET UG 2025 Exam Pattern

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the CUET 2025 exam pattern. As per CUET 2025 Exam Pattern, the exam will be held in CBT mode. The exam will consist of four sections: Section 1A, Section 1B, the General Test, and domain-specific subjects. Section 1A is mandatory and includes 13 languages, allowing candidates to choose their preferred language. Section 1B is optional and designed for those who wish to select a language not available in Section 1A, such as French, Arabic, German, etc. Each question will be worth five marks, with a deduction of one mark for every incorrect answer.

CUET 2025 Syllabus

NTA publishes the CUET UG syllabus in PDF form, accompanied by the official notification for those who need to refer to it. The CUET UG 2025 Syllabus is based on the NCERT Class 12 syllabus. Common subjects for all streams include English, General Aptitude, Numerical Aptitude/Data Interpretation, Analytical Skills, Reasoning, and General Knowledge. CUET Exam City Intimation Slip 2025 will be released by NTA around the first week of May. Candidates who have successfully registered themselves will be issued an intimation slip through the official website.

 

CUET 2025 Admit Card

The CUET 2025 admit card will be issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA) a few days before the exam. Before the CUET 2025 Admit Card, NTA will provide the CUET 2025 advance intimation slip, in which the exam city, exam date, slot, and paper will be mentioned. The CUET UG admit card is the most important document that candidates will carry to the exam centre. Here are some steps that candidates must follow to download the CUET UG 2025 Admit Card.

 

How to Download CUET 2025 Admit Card

  • Candidates must visit the official website of NTA
  • There, they have to enter their login credentials.
  • On submitting the login credentials, candidates will see the ‘CUET 2025 Admit Card Link’ on the dashboard.
  • Clicking on the link CUET 2025 Admit Card will display it on the screen.
  • Next, candidates should review and download their admit card.

CUET Answer Key 2025

NTA will publish the CUET provisional answer key 2025 on exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. CUET UG 2025 Answer Key will be released after CUET 2025 exams. NTA is expected to release the CUET provisional answer key and the candidate's CUET response sheet in the first week of July 2025. With the help of CUET 2025 provisional answer key, candidates can calculate their approximate scores. Candidates will be allowed to challenge the provisional answer key. The provisional answer key includes the correct answers along with the responses submitted by candidates. Using the answer key and CUET response sheet, candidates can estimate their scores before the official results are announced. Candidates have the option to challenge the CUET UG 2025 answer key by paying a fee of INR 200 per question. The final CUET 2025 result will be based on the revised answer key.

How to Challenge CUET 2025 Answer Key?

  • To challenge the answer key, candidates must log in to their account through exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/.
  • Next Candidate should click on ‘'View/Challenge Answer Keys'
  • Here, candidates will be able to see the questions sequentially. (The ID next to the question under the column ‘Correct Option’ signifies the correct answer.
  • To raise objections for one or more answer keys, candidates must select one or more Option IDs from the following four columns by ticking the corresponding checkboxes.
  • Candidates have the option to upload any supporting documents regarding their claim.
  • In the next stage, candidates have to click on the ‘Save Your Claims’ button.
  • Clicking on that button will direct the candidates to a page where challenging questions with their IDs will be visible.
  • Next, candidates must click on ‘Save Your Claim and Pay Fee Finally’
  • Now candidate must conclude the process by paying clannge fee INR 200 (Each Question) through Credit, Debit Or UPI.

 

CUET Result 2025

The CUET 2025 results will be released as scorecards on exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. Candidates can access their CUET UG 2025 Results and scorecard by logging into the official website using their credentials. The result will include details such as the candidate's personal information, section-wise scores, overall scores, percentiles, and cutoffs.

 

How to Download CUET 2025 Result?

Step 1: Candidates must visit the CUET UG official website- exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/

 

Step 2: Next, candidates must click on the 'CUET UG 2025 Scorecard' tab

 

Step 3: Upon clicking on that link, the CUET login page will appear.

 

Step 4: Now candidates must enter their following login credentials: Application number and Date of Birth ( Password).

CUET 2025 Counselling Process

Participating institutes will conduct CUET 2025 counselling process separately. Each institute will release its merit list of qualified candidates after the results are declared. Candidates who wish to participate must register and take part in the online counselling process. The CUET 2025 counselling process consists of three rounds. However, the number of rounds may change depending on seat availability. Once the seat allotment results are published, candidates must accept the admission offer by reporting to the respective institute for document verification. For some programs, instead of counselling, interview rounds may be held. NTA will provide separate details about the admission process for these programs in the CUET 2025 information brochure.

 

How to Apply for CUET 2025 Counselling?

Step 1: The candidate should start the CUET 2025 Counselling process by filling up the application form on the official admission portal of the respective university.

 

Step 2: In this stage, candidates should submit their CUET results and necessary personal documents for verification.

 

Step 3: The university then conducts a thorough document verification process and prepares the CUET cut-off list based on the candidates' scores.

CUET UG 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To apply and appear for the most extensive undergraduate entrance examination, CUET, applicants had to satisfy the eligibility criteria established by NTA. CUET 2025 Eligibility criteria are as follows:

 

CUET Basic Eligibility and Educational Qualification

  • Students completing their Class 12 education from a recognised board, specifically in Science or its related streams, can apply for a bachelor's degree at a central university.
  • Candidates appearing in Class 12 in 1015 can also apply.

CUET 2025 Age Limit

  • There is no particular age limit to sit for the CUET 2025 exam. However, candidates must satisfy the age criteria of any college or university they wish to attend.

CUET Nationality Criteria

  • Candidates should fulfil the following nationality requirements for eligibility:
  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • Candidates can be citizens of Nepal or Bhutan.
  • Candidate may be a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, intending to settle in India permanently.
  • Individuals from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma,  Kenya, Tanzania,  Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam have permanently settled in India.

 

CUET Registration 2025

The CUET 2025 application form closed on 24th March, 2025. Students could apply online through the official website. As part of the first step, candidates must register by providing basic details like name, address, contact, etc. On submitting these unique logon credentials will be generated. Using these credentials, candidates can log in and fill up the CUET 2025 application form through personal and academic details, choice of program, and exam city, and also upload the relevant documents.
