CUET Examination Date 2025 has been released at cuet.nta.nic.in. With the release of CUET City Intimation Slip 2025, NTA has declared the exam dates. As per the revised dates, CUET 2025 exam is going to take place from May 13, 2025. The exam will conclude on June 3, 2025.

CUET 2025 Exam Dates and Important Events
CUET UG 2025 will be organised in 13 Indian languages, namely Hindi, English, Marathi, Odiya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Assamese, Gujarati, Kannada, Bengali, and Malayalam.
The last date to register for CUET UG 2025 was 22nd March 2025. However, at the request of candidates, the application's last date was extended by two days, till 24th March 2025. The exam will take place in three time slots across different centres within the nation and 15 designated centres outside India.

CUET 2025 Subject-Wise Date Sheet
While applying for the CUET UG 2025, candidates are required to choose any five subjects from the 37 subject list available. NTA releases separate date-sheets for subjects chosen by the candidates. CUET 2025 Exam Dates: Pre-Exam Events
CUET UG 2025 Pre Exam includes the release of city intimidation slip, admit card, etc.
Before the exam, NTA will release the admit card for all the successfully registered candidates.
CUET Admit Card Release Date
NTA is expected to release CUET 2025 Admit Card Dates soon. The admit card link will be activated by the first week of May 2025. Students can access the link by entering their application number and date of birth. Once logged in, candidates must download the PDF and get it printed to appear for the test.
The CUET UG 2025 Admit Card will contain details such as the candidate’s name, birth date, application number, test center address and name, reporting time, and other general instructions. Students are advised to review all the above-mentioned details and inform the authorities through the helpline number if any discrepancies are found.
CUET 2025 Exam Dates: Post-Exam Events
Once the CUET UG 2025 examination will be concluded, the NTA will release the answer key of appearing candidates. After that the agency will release CUET UG 2025 Result. Based on this answer key, the participating universities will prepare the final merit list. The list will be used by the participating universities to enrol the qualifying students through the CUET UG Counseling Process.
CUET UG 2025 Answer Key Release Date
The provisional CUET UG 2025 Answer Key will be released in the first week of July, 2025. Once it is out, candidates can access the answer key from the official website at cuet.nta.nic.in.
CUET 2025 Result Announcement
CUET UG 2025 Result is expected to be released in the month of July 2025. The actual date will be announced on the official website of the NTA. CUET 2025 Result will be compiled on the basis of the answer key of the candidates.
Once the results are released, no candidate is allowed to request for re-evaluation and re-checking. It is the responsibility of students to download their CUET UG Scorecard 2025. As per the NTA exam prospectus, the exam records will be preserved for up to 90 days after the CUET UG Result declaration.
CUET UG 2025 Merit List Date
NTA does not release a separate merit list. Participating universities will release separate merit lists. The process will start taking place around July or August.
CUET 2025 Counseling Dates
The CUET UG Counseling process is expected to commence from the last week of July, 2025. The process is conducted by each of the universities separately that are participating in the admission process. It includes several central universities and other participating institutions from all across the country. Universities, after the result declaration, declare the admission schedule, merit list based on CUET scores, and other criteria that candidates have to fulfil to get admission into the respective institutions. CUET 2025 Exam Dates: Past Events
Past events of CUET UG 2025 include notification release, registration process, etc. CUET Registration process has concluded now.
CUET 2025 Application Dates
CUET 2025 Application Process began on March 1st, 2025. Till March 26th, candidates were allowed to register for the exam. After the conclusion of the CUET UG 2025 Application Process, the conducting authority opened the correction facility. Candidates could make the necessary changes till March 28, 2025.
CUET 2025 Exam Dates: Year-Wise Comparison
The Common University Entrance Test was officially introduced in the year 2022. Earlier, the exam was held in both computer-based and pen-and-paper formats to allow students in rural areas to appear for the exam. The exam has evolved significantly in the past few years. CUET 2025 Exam Common Changes
In the 2025 session of CUET UG, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has implemented several changes. Initially, the exam was conducted in hybrid mode, using both online computer-based and pen/paper-based methods. However, from 2025 onwards, the exam will now be held entirely in a Computer-Based Test(CBT) format. Here is a list of changes made to the current schedule of the CUET UG examination:
- The exam will be conducted only in the CBT mode.
- NTA has made changes in the exam duration. Earlier, some sections of the paper were 45 minutes, whereas some were 60 minutes. However, this has been changed, and now every section has to be completed within 60 minutes.
- NTA has also reduced the number of subjects from 63 to 37.
- Students can now opt for any subject in their CUET exam regardless of whether they have studied the chosen subject according to the 12th standard or not.
- Initially, the exam included a certain number of optional questions. For instance, in the general subject section, students were required to attempt 50 questions out of 60. However, this provision has been removed, and all the questions have been made mandatory.

When will the CUET UG 2025 exam be held?
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the CUET-UG exam between 13th May to 3d June 2025.
Will CUET UG 2025 be conducted outside India?
Yes, CUET UG 2025 will be held in CBT mode across different cities and in 15 centres outside India. It includes Nepal, Bangkok, Brazil, Abu Dhabi, etc.
Who can apply for CUET UG 2025?
Students who have completed their (12th grade) exam or equivalent can apply for the CUET UG exam. There is no age limit for applying to the CUET exam.
What is the marking scheme and exam pattern of CUET-UG 2025?
The CUET UG exam consists of three sections: general test, language, and domain-specific subject. Each section has 50 questions and has to be completed within 60 minutes. For every correct answer, a candidate gets five marks. On the other hand, for every incorrect answer, one mark is deducted.

No, candidates cannot change certain information they have provided in the application form. It includes the candidate's email address, mobile number, emergency contact number, and address.
How to download the CUET UG 2025 Admit card?
Candidates can download their CUET UG 2025 admit card by visiting the official website of NTA (https://cuet.nta.ac.in). If any discrepancy in the admit card is found, candidates have to immediately reach out to the NTA help desk between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm.
What is the dress code for the CUET UG 2025 examination?
Candidates appearing for CUET 2025 must ensure that they are following the dress code guidelines specified in the NTA bulletin. Candidates must avoid wearing long sleeves and closed shoes. Instead, they should opt for short-sleeved attire and slippers or sandals to enable quicker security checking at the exam center.
Can a student challenge the CUET Answer Key 2025?
Yes, a student can challenge the answer key on the official website of the NTA. For this, candidates have to pay a sum of INR 200 for each question challenged. This processing fee will not be refunded at any later stages.
Can candidates use the CUET UG scores of 2025 to enrol in the next academic session?
No, the scores obtained by a student in the CUET UG 2025 will remain valid only for the current academic year, 2025-26. The result will not be carried forward until next year.
How many subjects are offered under the CUET UG 2025 exam?
A student can apply for CUET UG 2025 and choose any of the 37 available subjects. Students can opt for 13 language courses and 23 domain-specific subjects in their CUET 2025 exam.
