KCET 2025 Counselling is expected to begin online by the last week of June 2025. KEA has already published the seat matrix and special eligibility criteria list. Qualified candidates should keep essential documents such as marksheets, certificates, and the KCET scorecard ready. The scorecard can be downloaded using the candidate’s registration number and password. KCET Result 2025 was declared on 24th May, and the spot rank list was announced on 2nd June, 2025. KCET Scorecard consisted of the total score, rank, and qualifying status of the candidates.

 

KCET Scorecard was released based on the KCET Final Answer Key, which was published on 25th April, 2025, along with OMR response sheets. The application correction window was available until 2nd May, 2025, to edit certain details before the result announcement and counselling process. KCET 2025 exam was conducted in offline mode on 16th and 17th April by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET), conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), is a state-level entrance examination held annually in offline mode. KCET Counselling 2025

KEA will begin KCET Counselling 2025 online at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea by the last week of June 2025. Once the KEA releases the notification, qualified candidates will be able to proceed with online registration and the document verification process at the KEA verification centres. After successful registration, candidates must fill in choices for preferred courses and colleges to get seat allotment. Candidates can refer to the steps below to check the KCET Counselling 2025.

  1. Document Verification and Registration: Qualified candidates must register using their CET number and password. Following this, they must report to the KEA verification centres in Bangalore for the document verification process.
  2. Choice filling/Option entry: In this stage, students are allowed to enter their preferred options for courses and colleges.
  3. Seat allotment: Colleges allocate seats to candidates based on students’ ranks, scores and seats’ availability.
  4. Fee Payment and Confirmation of Admission: After seat allotment, students must accept the allocated seats and pay the fees to confirm their admission.

According to KCET Seat Matrix 2025, the number of KEA seats varies by the types of colleges. In Private Universities, the number of seats is higher compared to Government and Aided Engineering Colleges. For example, Sapthagiri NPS University offers 1,704 seats, whereas the Constituent College of VTU in Chintamani, Chikaballapura has only 120 seats allocated for KEA. KCET Result 2025 has been declared on 24th May, 2025 at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. Using the registration number and the first four characters of candidates’ names, candidates were able to log in at the official portal and check KCET Scorecard 2025. The result included the candidate's application number, roll number, score in individual subjects, total marks obtained and qualifying status. KCET Application Form Correction 2025

KCET 2025 application correction window allowed candidates to edit specific details in their application forms without any additional fee. The correction window was active until 2nd May, 2025 and instructed candidates to make necessary changes before the result declaration and counselling process. Applicants were advised to carefully review and update their information, especially reservation details, to avoid rejection. The steps involved with KCET Application Form Correction 2025 are as follows:

  • Open cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.
  • Click on Application Correction.
  • Log in using the application number and password.
  • Click on the “edit” button.
  • Make necessary changes.
  • Review the changes and click on “submit”.

 

KCET Answer Key 2025

The provisional KCET Answer Key 2025 was released on 18th April, 2025 for Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects. The objection window was open until 22nd April, up to 5:00 PM. During this time, candidates could raise objections with valid supporting documents. Along with the answer key, KEA also released the OMR response sheets to help candidates estimate their scores.

 

After reviewing all objections, KEA released the KCET 2025 final answer key on 25th April, 2025. According to the final answer key, a total of 21 changes were made in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Additionally, grace marks have been awarded to candidates for four questions in Physics.

 

KCET Admit Card 2025

KCET Admit Card 2025 was released on 6th April, 2025 on the official website of KEA. To download the hall ticket, KCET candidates were required to log in using their registration number and password. The steps involved in the download of KCET Admit Card 2025 are as follows:

  • Open cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.
  • Click on the "KCET 2025 Admit Card" or "Download Hall Ticket" link on the homepage.
  • Log in using Application Number and Date of Birth (DOB) and enter the captcha code.
  • Once logged in, candidates must check all the details, including their name, exam centre and location, date, and time.
  • Click the Download button and save the admit card.

 

KCET Exam Pattern 2025

As per KCET Exam pattern 2025, the exam consists of multiple-choice questions across four main subjects, such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, and Kannada (only for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates). Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology included 60 questions to be completed in 80 minutes. The Kannada language test consisted of 60 questions with a 60-minute duration. According to the marking scheme of KCET 2025, candidates were awarded +1 mark for each correct answer, with no negative marking for incorrect answers.

KCET Application Process 2025 concluded on 24th February, 2025. The entire process was conducted online at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in where candidates had to fill out the form, upload documents and pay registration fees. The steps involved in the KCET Application Process 2025 are as follows:
