KCET Result 2026: Tie-Breaking Criteria

Higher Marks in Physics

Total Marks in KCET

• If the tie remains unresolved even after evaluating the individual subject scores, the total marks obtained by the candidates across all subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology) will be compared. The candidate with the highest total marks will be ranked higher.

Marks in the Qualifying Examination (Class 12)

• If candidates have the same total marks in KCET and the individual subjects, their marks in the qualifying examination (Class 12) will be considered next.
