Eligibility Criteria for NEET PG 2025 Counselling

To join NEET PG 2025 counselling, candidates have to meet some basic rules given by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and the state authorities. The requirements are slightly different for the All India Quota (AIQ), State Quota, and Deemed or Central Universities.

NEET PG 2025 Counselling Process

The NEET PG 2025 counselling will be held online by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota (AIQ), Deemed and Central universities, ESIC, and AFMS seats. The process will take place in several rounds.

 

1. Registration on MCC Website

First, candidates have to create an account on the MCC website. They must enter their NEET PG details, pay the counselling fee, and a refundable security deposit. After this step, they will get a login ID to move ahead in the process.

 

2. Choosing and Locking Colleges

After registering, candidates can pick the colleges and courses they want. They must lock their choices before the last date, as no changes are allowed once they lock the options.

 

3. Seat Allotment

MCC will announce the seat allotment list for each round based on the NEET PG rank, filled preferences, and available seats. Candidates can download their allotment letter, which will show whether they got a new seat or kept the same one from the previous round.

 

4. Reporting to the College

If a seat is allotted, the candidate must visit the college within the given dates with all original documents. Admission will only be confirmed after document verification. Missing the deadline will cancel the seat.

 

5. Further Rounds

Those who do not get a seat in the first round or want to upgrade can take part in Round 2, Mop-up, and Stray Vacancy rounds. Each round will again have fresh choice filling and allotment for the leftover seats.
