RRB JE Eligibility Criteria 2026: Nationality/ Citizenship
The candidates must satisfy the following citizenship/nationality criteria:
- Citizen of India, or
- Subject of Nepal, or
- Subject of Bhutan, or
- Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962, intending to settle permanently, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries, and Vietnam with the intention of permanent settlement.
Note: Indian citizens are not required to possess a Certificate of Eligibility, while the other eligible ones must possess a Certificate of Eligibility (issued by the concerned government authority).
