SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria 2026 mentions the minimum criteria required by the candidates to be eligible for the Group C vacancies released by the Staff Selection Commission. Nationality/Citizenship is one of the primary eligibility requirements for the SSC MTS 2026 exam. The Staff Selection Commission has allowed Indian Citizens, Citizens of Nepal or Bhutan, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) to apply for this examination. Candidates not having an Indian citizenship are mandatorily required to possess a Certificate of Eligibility issued and verified by the Government of India.

The Age Limit for Multi-Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) is 18 to 25 years, while for the Havaldar post, it is 18 to 27 years. To fulfil the SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria 2026, the Educational qualification required is Matriculation (Class 10) from a recognised board. The Physical Standards Test verifies the physical measurement requirements for the SSC MTS 2026 exam. Assessment under PST requires height and chest measurements for male candidates and height and weight measurements for female candidates.
